Was definitely a problem last year and why I thought Josh deserved MVP. He carried the offense and the defense.

Not too shabby

Can't we just be the Road Warriors?

Is Hawes in the process of surpassing Knox as TE2??
Scott7975 replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im not saying they are going to get rid of Knox or even just redo his contract but that part is true. Gabe Davis was also Josh's buddy. -
Bills asking fans to wear all white for the Pats game on Sunday

i did not...never would have guessed -
Didn't that look like a Madden '26 play or something? You know how the engine has a little stutter when he's breaking through the pocket but when he's in the clear he's bigger than everyone else and moving faster than everyone else, that's what it looked like. As far as throwing from the pocket, Allen looks FAR better IRL than he's portrayed in the game.

Great! Now I’ll never be able to see a bidet again with the mental image of a five foot bunny getting a good schprutz! I bet those soulful eyes might light up, at least a little bit. That’s interesting. You’re looking for hot Asian women in @DrDawkinstein’s area? I won’t ask…..

We were a couple of their down stops from 6-45 last week. A huge part of the problem with the offense is we can't get off the field on defense. It's gotten to the point this year that when we break a big offensive play early I think "oh shirt, we scored too quick, defense has to go right back out there" It's kind of crazy to see an offense have to protect our defense the way we do. I watched a lot of Tre last week. Despite a few missed tackles I thought he was very good in coverage.

Probably a fat guy

Disagree. It was a crazy thought ImO and this report that he's hurt backs it up. The point is: To win multiple mvps in the national football league and to have the success he has had you have to be ultra talented AND ultra competitive. You can't be mentally soft and have the success that he has had In arguably the most violent sport in the world.

Bills to sign Punter Mitch Wishnowsky

A Polak on the team was a great idea😉 -
Agree to disagree. As I say above, he’s obviously sat through things that other players play through. Not a quality you love in a QB but he’s got a slight build and he and the organization need his legs long term. I think what you’re suggesting is something that would put that organization into upheaval immediately. The other 52 players would hate him and from everything I’ve seen they all speak reverently about him.

Speaking of Cheektowaga, the Bills should have a flamingo punting, since his knee would hinge the other way so when he gets roughed, he's fine.

Until he drops a pass that ends a drive or could have been a TD. Then everyone will be all over him. Knox does have bad hands though. The guy can either make the most clutch catch or he could drop the most routine pass. You just never know. -
Sounds like Cheektowaga has a new favorite player.

I’d argue there’s a big difference between Dorsey’s offense in 2023 and Babich’s defense in 2025. Dorsey’s offense has been struggling to score 20 points over a stretch of about 6 weeks. McDermott wants “balance” on offense and Dorsey kept forcing passing concepts which routinely didn’t work. Plus Josh was turning the ball over. Babich is running a defense that’s a variation of what McDermott ran in 2023. It’s clear they are taking more chances with man coverage and blitzing etc. In 4 games the results have been mixed. Also McDermott knows his defense. The players they were relying on to rush the passer largely haven’t besides Bosa. So so think Babich gets more time but yes, if things don’t change and they lose a few games, I can see McDermott taking over the play calling reigns

Is Hawes in the process of surpassing Knox as TE2??
Alphadawg7 replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
While you are not wrong in terms of Knox brings more to the table in terms of athletic receiver…what you are missing is that Knox doesn’t play that role anymore, Kincaid does. Knox is much more of a blocking TE than he is a receiving TE since Kincaid got here. There was this idea of a 2 TE pass attack when we drafted Kincaid after extending Knox with a hefty contract. But the reality is we don’t really run that kind of offense like the Pats did when they had Gronk and Hernandez. Knox has become more of a blocker, not just in the run game, but in pass protection and through routes where the play is designed to go elsewhere and he’s clearing out and blocking for the YAC. And this is where Hawes vs Knox gets interesting because Hawes is already a better blocker, not a knock on Knox, but Hawes is just an excellent blocker already. And now Hawes is showing good feel and the ability to make plays when his number is called as a receiver. I agree Knox is a top 15-18 TE in the league, and honestly if he started full time as a more featured TE somewhere, he would probably be top 10. But make no mistake about it, the roles Knox plays here right now is a bit redundant with what Hawes does as well, and Hawes is already better at the core of each of their jobs which is blocking. And all one has to do is track their snap counts to see the coaches know this too. I like Knox, got nothing against him, but IMHO his future on this team is rapidly becoming expendable. And that doesn’t mean he will be gone, but it does mean his future isn’t clear, and in any scenario where he remains here, his contract will have to look a lot different. -
It came across is incredibly toxic, like he was such a victim having to be there, with all the dysfunction. Hes the only person on earth to not realize problems have always followed him everywhere he is.
