  1. Past hour
  2. You are not having the same discussion. The debate is not who was the GOAT - I verbatim said its Brady, and I agree, its not a debate. The question here is, in their prime, who was the actual best QB to stand on an NFL field on any given Sunday. Take away the longer career and therefore longer resume, just 2 guys in their prime - who would be the best QB on that field. And no disrespect, that is where you don't have the insight to weigh in on that as you didn't watch Montana play. I watched every game he played practically - My dad had 3 loves in his life - His kids first. Niners 2nd. TV show "Dallas" 3rd. Wife - somewhere down the list lol. When the Niners or the TV Show "Dallas" were on, you could only ask him yes or no questions during commercial breaks. I watched just about every Niners game Joe ever played and I can tell you that it is NOT certain that Brady was actually better than Joe was in their respective primes. Brady is the GOAT without question - But who would be the best QB in a head to head battle in their primes is very much open for debate.
  3. There's nothing more important in a career than availability. If a player cannot offer that, he's unfortunately not useful. Hope for the best here.
  4. He seems like always play well when given the opportunity…guy just can’t stay on the field despite limited playtime. As a backup the most important thing you can do is be healthy when needed.
  5. His pink slip is already written with arrival of Shaq Thompson
  6. I think they may let McGovern walk. He will be expensive, and the Bills love their young o-line depth, with good reason.
  7. Good, he sucks. I don't even think he's a Bills fan. Just some jackoff trying to capitalize on their success.
  8. The dude has made a living off being injured
  9. Exactly. And can you pay Moore and Cook and a draft pick rather than Moore and Samuel and Palmer and not Cook? Cook has an elite ceiling in his specific role. We need to keep those sorts of players rather than collecting a bunch of mids
  10. Two thoughts on the crazy amount of injuries 1. I wonder if the bills are being overly cautious with all the cameras around the team especially after the benford passing concussion protocol so quickly in the playoffs last season 2. Would be curious if injuries and rehab are off limits to hard knocks cameras unless specifically given the ok by the player thus creating some private non filmed mic'd up time
  11. I had the years of the 2nd and 4th round picks in the trade reversed. James Cook for Michael Parsons
  12. It was winter and these homeless guy was outside and you could see he needed to get somewhere arm I called 911 to help him out. The dispatcher was like it might take a few hours to get to him etc. Kind of sad really. I've been called by police officers responding to 911 calls for my parents (they're now both in assisted living) but prior it was a real fiasco. Last one I recall was mom locked herself in the bathroom and instead of pressing the life alert button at side of bathtub she opened window and screamed for the neighbors to call 911 to get her out. Needless to say that was step that lead to her getting to assisted living.
  13. News Flash: What she got is coming for all of us, eventually. Try to be good until then. RIP
  14. Can you give some of the money you are going to give back up DL serving PED suspensions and give it to an RB instead
  15. Yes, he is. Cook is the player you'd be crying you wished the Bills had if he were on the Chiefs. It all fits together. O-line & RBs. But Cook is a guy who squeezes though tiny holes and then has the burst to get past everyone. We all think Johnson and Davis can fill in and be fine, but while they are effective as a change of pace, if either were our #1, our run game would suffer
  16. Texas Democrats Make an Even Dumber Move, and You Just Have to Laugh at This Point. https://redstate.com/sister-toldjah/2025/08/04/texas-democrats-make-an-even-dumber-move-and-you-just-have-to-laugh-at-this-point-n2192417 Well, they're not very smart
  17. He had more snaps and touches in 2023. He broke down at the end of season, and it was evident in the playoffs. The Bills reduced his snaps, carries and receptions in 2024 and he stayed productive. They found the sweet spot for him.
  18. I'm not disputing he had a great year for TDs or that he isn't a good player You just can't pay RBs anymore
  19. A good number of people seem to think he will get $15m+ next year. In that case the comp pick would be around a 4th surely? And you get him for a year before that. So below a 3rd makes not that much sense unless I have misunderstood Don't think anyone is the wrong here. We ain't paying too whack for a guy who plays half the snaps. And he doesn't want any part of the idea that he may well be elite BECAUSE he isn't playing 75% of the snaps like the real big boys are. So he will play the season, be 85-90% of what he was last year and that's that. The only bit that interests me is if the Bills decide that seeing as he thinks he can play all the snaps, make him do it, and run him into the ground. If they have no intention of re-signing him it makes sense to use him whilst he is here. Or do we see that they actually have no interest in him playing those other snaps whatever happens?
  20. do this. now.
  21. Called once for a car accident I was in. They asked if anyone was hurt, I said no, they said walk to the gas station and call the Troop. OK, makes sense. Years later, I drove by some drunk who spun out in the rain and ended up half in the corn/half on the road, he was ok but he was COCKED....called 911, explained the situation....the dispatcher legit asked (told, actually) me to "start directing traffic". She already had the location so that was a quick "are you *****in nuts"? and a hang up.
  22. It was over in 2018, and 2020 put an exclamation point on it. Lebron and Jordan is far closer than Brady vs the field imo. Lebron has the longevity and Jordan has the peak. Brady has both. Its 100% a closed case.
  23. If he is to miss the Ravens game: Coleman needs to be in at slot; he will match up against Humphrey (6', 210) so Coleman has 4" on him. Humphrey is quick and can recover in speed but he's not as fast as he used to be - what the Ravens will do is funnel that speed up the middle to their safeties. We are ok with that because Coleman will feast or famin. What this would do is clear opportunities up for Knox laying down low or Kincaid running seam routes. Knox sitting in space will be great. The Ravens will have to decide if they are ok letting Coleman potentially run deep on them and Josh connecting or let the shallow stuff free. With Cook playing (as he should, damn dude signed a contract) we will be able to keep an explosive running game up with our 3 RB's. Johnson, assuming he's on the roster and a plan for 2025, will be able to leak out and also be an option on 3rd downs. The Ravens defense is very underrated but we should be able to keep them on the field. So, the inverse, if Shakir plays, will be Shakir running all over the middle pulling coverage schemes to make imbalances. I don't see him as a major factor for this game, honestly.
  24. There was one report this morning that they aren’t that far off. Maybe it’ll get worked out. I don’t think we can afford to trade him this year. Johnson and Davis are change of pace backs. Cook is a legit weapon that gets pressure off of Josh
