I’m pretty sure Caden Davis is still available and wasn’t in the tryout list. Which tells me the Bills just don’t think he’s good enough to roll out there if Bass is hurt.

It’s impossible for these people not to look at everything through a politically divisive lens. To them everything is about a pro or con Trump argument. Something as simple as a financial forward looking statement from a public corporation has to come back to a Trump cause or effect issue. By the way, Deere has ran into some fairly substantial trouble with recalls on their more residential focused products. A lot of zero turns and lawn tractors with Kawasaki engines were recalled for electrical issues causing spontaneous combustion. I have a lawn tractor with a Kawasaki that wasn’t on the recall list but I still worry. I heard of some reports on not recall models catching fire, and it’s a bit concerning.

Exactly. In an upcapped league with a rich owner, there is no such thing as opportunity cost. -

James Cook is a tough one for me bc while he is the lead back, Davis and (mainly) Ty Johnson poach a lot of touches in obvious passing situations. I expect a regression from last year in terms of rushing TDs. Particularly with JA taking a lot of the goal line touches. That said, I’d take him as a RB3/flex option in a heartbeat. The only WR I’d target in later rounds is Keon Coleman who I see an expanded role for this year. Especially RZ targets. Wait and see on Shakir. -

Totally disagree and think those are two way different scenarios. The Mets needed an elite hitter in the lineup. Teams in MLB rarely win championships without at least 1 elite hitter, many of them have 2. Soto hasn't had a typical Soto season but it's only year 1. There's also no salary cap in baseball so if you have an owner like Cohen who is willing to spend whatever, signing Soto doesn't come at the expense of sacrificing other parts of the team. Parsons has some weaknesses such as being able to be run at. Soto as an offensive player really doesn't have a weakness like that. I think if your D is solid against the run overall he does offer a top quality rusher but it's different than what you can do with Soto. You can walk him but that's still putting a baserunner on for good hitters behind him. Also Soto's still pretty young in baseball years and his skill set with a generational eye at the plate suggests he'll age well. With inflation and and higher salaries, that could also even not turn out to look like an overpay just like Bryce Harper's deal doesn't look like one anymore, in fact that looks like a really good deal now. Just totally different IMO. -
By the way, public corporations don't post "vague plans." They are held responsible by shareholders, who actually own the company, manage them, and can fire them in a vote.. They don't throw 20B numbers out there for fun. Deere has problems. I own one, as I think you do. They have recently got into marketing trouble because of the necessity to have all maintenance done by a pro, which is antithetical to tractor owners, but that is a different subject. It must be all about Trump. Every day, every subject.

Correct, but teams like tOSU aren't really hurt regarding recruiting because of a Noon game. tOSU, Alabama, Notre Dame, etc. are going to be ok even if they played on a Tuesday at 10am. Those early kickoff games would most likely hurt the mid-tier teams like Mich St., Kansas, Nebraska, Arizona etc. IMHO.

In another reality, I'm curious how the Cowboys would have reacted to a trade package involving Kincaid, Cook, and one of our defensive lineman. -
This is the AFC dark ages. The Broncos got walloped by the NFC every time. The 1990 Bills were supposed to set the record straight. Run the ball, Jim!! Jesus, go to YouTube and watch how many 3&1 plays Jimbo decided to chuck INTs into triple coverage 40 yards down field. 🫨🔫 Ironically, it was the Broncos who got it done in the “This One’s For John” late 90s. That team was so juiced.. convinced of it.

CAN WE GET THIS BAD BOY ROLLIN' AGAIN THIS YEAR PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE????? Tonight I like Georgia Tech @ Colorado 8pm (ET) : 1. GTech ML --I think -3.5 feels like a trap in hostile environment, and early season offenses sputtering a bit 2. Haynes King over 44 yards -- really like this. Kid is all guts, its going to be loud, and when communication breaks down he'll take off. Plenty of designed runs 3. Parlay - Sprinkled GT ML & King Rushing for 2 TD's (.2 units, other two got 1u)

Maybe you're right. I was assuming that he wasn't ready, but I suppose he could learn on the job. Ok, I feel a bit better. You've changed the image of my head from a truck heading toward a brick wall to a plane taking off with the mechanics running after it making last-minute repairs to one of the wings. -

The fact that he left practice, didn't make the trip to Tampa, and then didn't practice is a huge concern imo. Dane Jackson and Jamarcus Ingram as our two starting corners is not ideal. -
At some point you must wonder if there is anything wrong with you. There is nothing in the Deere report, which companies don't simply make stuff up about, that has anything to do with Trump. This is an obsession of about four people here. It is simply impossible to converse on anything without some Trump or Maga accusation. Unceasing. It's ridiculous and pitiful, as well as asserting a lie, over and over. Deere wants to spend 20b on US manufacturing. Great. That's my point, and it has nothing to do with any contrived accusation of supporting anyone. That's not what I do.

He may or may not come out, my premise was based upon him doing so, if he does then the Cowboys are in great shape to land him if the Titans have the 1st pick. You don’t believe he’ll come out, that’s fine and you may be correct. lol that’s a strong possibility -

This feels like last year when the Yankees decided to pass on adding a lefty arm to reinforce the bullpen at the trade deadline. Then they needed to get out Ohtani and Freeman in game 1 of the World Series. Their only options being Tim Hill and Nestor Cortes who hadn't pitched in over a month. They go with Cortes because they liked him more against Ohtani. Freeman walks it off with a grand slam, the Yankees aren't close the rest of the series. At some point you have to go for the jugular.
