Yet I just did now didn't I. But hey, keep trying to take the convo to the muck just because we don't agree. Hope that serves you well bud ✌️

He’d be the #2 run defending edge on the roster and could at least add a sniff of a pass rush … I would say no, but those who laugh at the player he is/has been are misguided

Most definitely... Buffalo was swindled by Halas:

....are Bills fans considered the marginalized?

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
Doc Brown replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pry not but if it can even come close to last year we're already in a better position given how heavily we invested in defense this off season. I know it's said every off-season but getting the #1 seed is vital for obvious reasons. Especially with on paper the 5th easiest schedule based off over/under betting odds. Our division has never been weaker. Almost all the tough games this year (Chiefs, Eagles, Bengals, Ravens, Bucs) will be played at home. Houston's pry are toughest road game but we'd pry be favored right now. Barring an injury to Allen there's no excuses to not get the #1 seed imo.. It's the one situational variable that we haven't had the last five years in the playoffs. -
AND a 30 TD passer in a season. That's the amazing stat... . EVEN in a +16 game season, Bears never produced a QB who threw for 30 TDs in a season. "Dragged thru the garden!"

Thought Exercise: Best Bills QB (99-2017) who'd be JA17 backup
Bills!Win! replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bledsoe, Losman, Edwards, Fitzpatrick, Manuel and Taylor were never really given a fair shot. We had historically bad pass blocking during the drought. Just ask the patriots front 7. I feel like Bledsoe would be the best backup with his cannon arm behind our strong O-line -

It would never be Flutie with his team dividing locker room presence and tactics. Taylor has the perfect mentality for it and won’t lose the game with turnovers but won’t win you games on his own. Fitz could win you 2 out of 4, or 4 out of 9, with ups and downs. Guess I’d go with Taylor -

Options not listed by the OP (to round out the impressive list): J. P. Losman, Trent Edwards, Brian Brohm, EJ Manuel, Thad Lewis, Jeff Tuel, Kyle Orton, Matt Cassell, Nathan Peterman, Derek Anderson, Matt Barkley (not that anyone would chose any of those guys). Oh, and Billy Jo Hobert. He never officially had a start, but played in two games (and was obviously a fan favorite. 🙃) I think you could make a case for Bledsoe (year 1 in Buffalo) and for Flutie too. But I think I'm either going with Fitz or Tyrod. Bledsoe's age and lack of mobility and Flutie's height would worry me in today's NFL. Fitz is the classic backup, smart, and with our running game and short passing game, he wouldn't be asked to go out and win games in the 4th quarter (which is when he would throw most of his INTs during his stint in Buffalo), and Tyrod isn't going to win the game for you, but he also isn't going to lose it for you. So, again, with the strength of our team, Tyrod could be a good game manager and use his legs when in trouble. I almost just convinced myself into picking Tyrod. But, ultimately, I think I'd take Fitz as Josh's backup. But, if the question were just best Bills QB ('97-'17) then I think I'd vote Bledsoe in year 1 with the Bills. Flutie #2. Fitz #3. Tyrod #4. The rest really aren't worth mentioning. -
If we aren’t going to do it on our own, please use it as an excuse to do a full 1990s red helmet throwback. It’s a rivalry thing with the dolphins Im assuming…let’s use it as excuse to get them back

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
Kirby Jackson replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s kind of what I think Alpha. They’ll get less turnovers but more stops. I wonder what that does to average drive start? I have no idea but the improved defense will definitely help. -
He barely plays 50% of the snaps. The Bills are better with him. But 10-12m is his max. Plenty of guys would love the O he plays with. He could excel, win a SB, and long term make more $$ in Buffalo.

Come on, he is not mocking the new pope or religion in any way, none. Just having a little fun with the fact that as the first American Pope ever, Prevost is from Chicago, home to an NFL team that has been one of the most hapless for decades on end. So it is a team in need of divine intervention, and may be in luck now as the Pope is from Chicago. And it is funny; seldom have I laughed when just reading the topic of a new thread. One of the things that people loved about Pope Francis, may he rest in peace, was his sense of humor. It made him human, approachable. I bet he too would have laughed at this thread if he had read it.

Oh of course it is. I think the flag logo could work but I feel like they would screw it up and we would look like a discount Titans team with the colors. They will go with light blue on white or something like that and then the logo on the helmet. Similar to how I originally said about the "nickel city" looking like the Raiders but that actually looks pretty good IMO.

Losing Derrick Burroughs to a career ending neck injury in week 3 at Houston cost the Bills a physical player they CERTAINLY could have used in those SB’s. After a rocky start to his career in 1985 as the “other” first round pick in 1985, DB was starting to come into his own in 1988 and was approaching a pro bowl level in 1989 before his career ending injury. Big loss for he Bills defense.

Tyrod, because he plays so safe that he'll never lose (or win) you a game. I love Fitz but he has voodoo dolls of the starting QBs when he's the backup. -
Worldwide it is certainly Paris Yet Buffalo was the first city in America to be widely lit up with electricity and our flag still bears the symbol Which might I add is a pretty good city flag I think you could actually make a design around that.. I don't know how you could design city of good neighbors And certainly hope they don't go chicken wing just kind of seems like a money grab all around

Can be any QB who took a snap as a Bill in a game or practice. -

Both Bledsoe and Flutie wouldn't accept roles as backups. Flutie would cause endless trouble in the locker room because of this. Fitz has that whole history of the starter getting injured. I vote Tyrod. -
City of light(s) is more known worldwide as Paris. City of good neighbors, yes.... but how do you make that a jersey design? I ain't reading all that. I'm happy for you tho. Or sorry that it happened.

Flutie by far. He even had the same style of play as Josh. Then Bledsoe his first year with us.
