I’m sure there’s other opposing players who “hate” JA too
GASabresIUFan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
He actually makes football 11 on 11. Even with an empty set, Josh is still a threat in the running game. That forces defenses to keep a spy on him and even that usually isn't enough. What separates Josh from the rest of the mobile QBs is his raw size and power. He has the speed to run by defenders, but also the power to run them over. No other mobile QB has that ability. You would think the Bills defense would be better against running QBs than they our considering how much they practice against Josh. -
False premise. I don't champion welfare for the rich, and never have. The welfare is that they pay a grossly disproportionate amount in income taxes, and that is not disputable. I don't have an issue with that at current rates, capital gains rates or deductibles. I do have an issue with policy that would change that and lead to the removal of investment capital.

This patriot team isn’t as good as the ravens that we faced on opening day. Not even close, sorry. the ravens lost to the bills, Lions and Chiefs. You lost to the raiders and Steelers. To say that this iteration of the pats is better than the ravens team that we faced week one is a joke. I'm a huge Maye fan and I think that the game will be very close. We may even lose if we’re without Ed, Milano, both Dorians. Plus brown and sanders are tbd. But the ravens we faced are a better teams. Stop making sense. Dude is soaking up his massive win vs Carolina and not making much sense. As if the offenses that you play against don’t factor in to defenses point against.

Buffalo Sabres and the NHL: 2025 - 2026
Mike in Horseheads replied to Draconator's topic in Off the Wall
he Buffalo Sabres confirmed to The Buffalo News on Friday that Adam Mair is no longer with the organization after his arraignment Thursday on drunk-driving charges in Monroe County. Mair was the Sabres' director of player development and had been with the organization in multiple roles since 2015. He played for the Sabres from 2002-10. “We will evaluate the best fit for that role moving forward,” the Sabres said in a statement. “In the interim, the current player development staff will continue to handle the responsibilities of their positions.” -
I’ve never had a stalker before. It’s kind of exciting!

Nice season ticket member perk
CA OC Bills Fan replied to Bills fan since 87's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn't get one yet. It does take a bit longer to ship to CA. My account manager called me a couple of weeks ago and confirmed my address. He said the team is sending a memento to all current season ticket holders in honor of the farewell season. But, I'm sure he said they're sending it after the season, so not sure if it's based on some other criteria as to when some are receiving it. -

If we are commenting on third round picks, why stop with our guy? Let’s look a little deeper for a more full and accurate picture. It looks like he was picked at a bit of a turning point, by a team with a SB calibre roster. I copied and pasted this from another Landon Jackson is disappointing thread: “5 hours ago, Bleeding Bills Blue said: Why'd you cut it off at 72? Seems like a strange number... almost as though picks 75, 76, 80, 82, 88, 89, 91, 98, and 99 also haven't played in the 3rd round.” I think this helps to present a more fair and complete picture.

Yeah I don’t think they should rush Hairston back but once he is ready he better be starting. The best way for young players to get better is by actually playing in games. Don’t make the same mistake they made with Bishop last year.

You still haven’t proved me wrong. And I remain confused why you champion welfare for the rich. Like you should talk about distractions. One fleeting thought of an anus and you’re in a tizzy.

Trickle down has been tried many times with poor results. Over 1/2 the country lives paycheck to paycheck. The trickle never makes it that far down. The other 49% who do pay taxes generally pay a much larger percentage of their income than the 1 %. The system is purposefully, forever in their favor.

And just when I thought you were out of New and exciting ways to hate your team

Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF
fergie's ire replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
What I found odd, is that a couple of years ago, he was very critical of Josh turning the ball over too much. He even said something along the lines of "I understand that he is taking chances and that he can complete many of these throws that nobody else can, but still, he turns the ball over too much for my liking." I think that's a fair criticism...but really odd coming from Warner. He was part of the greatest show on turf, and Mike Martz actually said that he told his QBs not to fear throwing interceptions. He wanted them to throw fifty fifty balls down field, knowing that with their receivers it was more like 75/25. It seemed odd for a coach to say "I don't care if my QB throws an interception," but even stranger for that QB to later saying he doesn't like seeing QBs turn the ball over. -
I think we keep Braster as our kicker,

The Ravens have played half their games against the top two scoring offenses in the league. In their last game they were missing half their starters against Mahomes with Worthy. We are only four games in, tossing out "last in scoring" is worthless. Detroit put up 38 against the Ravens and then put up 34 against the Browns who are supposed to have an elite D this year. They gave up 40 to Josh Allen in an amazing Josh Allen type roll and given at least one short field. Stats are hard enough to make sense of in a 17 game season, raw ranks like this at less than the 1/4 mark is worth less than a quarter of a pail of spit.
