If it was up to me personally I would Fire Bobby Babich, how much longer to I have to hear " I have to do a better job"

In the off-season, Ray Davis stated that he decided cut weight because: “I wanted be lighter. Last year I was the bruiser, short yardage and I felt I could do a lot more… I feel way lighter and way faster.” I found this baffling bc that was the reason he was brought in, imo. To be the "bruiser, short yardage" RB - the Thunder to Cook's Lightning. And for him to try and get "lighter and faster", I felt could bring more negative to his game than positive. Bc dropping weight wouldn't take him from what he is, which us a 4.55 guy with a straight line style, and turn him into a RB like Cook. But it could effect his power and effectiveness in what his role on this team was. I was interested to see how he looked in the Pre-Season, as I was kind of skeptical that his deciding to do that would be positive for his game. And through Camp and the Pre-Season, he did look less effective. And looking at the snap counts for Running Back, it's pretty clear the Bills have noticed. Through three games, the RB room snap count is: James Cook - 123 Snaps Ty Johnson - 62 Snaps Ray Davis - 34 Snaps James Cook seeing the field more wasn't all that surprising to me, as him "not being a 3 Down RB" was such a talking point this off-season. And with him being paid what he was, I think they wanted to show he could be a bellcow. But Ty Johnson having almost double the snaps of Davis is pretty surprising. And last night, Davis was only on the field for a total of four snaps, with zero touches. Which is a pretty big fall off so far from last season. It makes me wonder if his decision to cut weight was done on his own accord? Or did the Bills tell him to do it? Bc I can't imagine, especially with how he's been used this year, that they felt it was a good decision. It's pretty clear that in the pecking order, he's a distant 3rd option. It feels like he didn't want the "bruiser, short yardage" role and in his desire to be used differently - he has no role.

In a defense with so many new parts (both rookie and veteran), the worst thing would be to try to break in a rookie cornerback when you have a veteran who can capably man the position and who knows the defense like the back of his hand. Tre is an asset to this defense. His ability to communicate pre-snap and get the team lined up correctly is invaluable as the defense tries to become cohesive. People here who are simultaneously criticizing Tre White starting and the Bills defensive performance are arguing against themselves. It's more important for the new D-linemen and Cole Bishop to gel than it is to break in one more rookie on the back end. Only when the defense has substantially gelled should White then cede time to Hairston and I certainly trust the coaching staff to know when that time is.

Just in respect of numbers it has to be at least one DL and at least one DB as straight swaps. I think the third one you have some flexibility in terms of position. If it were me personally I'd go: - Cut Sam Franklin (re-sign to PS which also resets his elevations). Really good STs player and not sure they will do this but I think having twon DBs (Codrington as well) who really only play teams is a luxury you can't afford if it means cutting a guy like Ingram who can play multiple spots. - Trade AJ Epenesa. Don't think we have seen enough from the edge guys outside of Bosa so far and while I am not under the illusion you would get much in return but maybe a team really struggling for pressure like a certain NFC South team we love to do deals with might flip you a late day 3 pick. I'd consider cutting Solomon too but I think he is a better teams player and he is cheap depth for another two seasons on his rookie deal so from a long term roster management perspective he makes more sense to keep. - Cut Curtis Samuel. I'd rather not do this one, but if I have to cut a third guy it is Samuel. He is clearly WR6 on this roster, doesn't play teams and is a vet insurance luxury. He is gone after 2025 in any event. He has. I am head of the "DQ is washed" club but he was really good Thursday and played okay vs the Jets. FWIW PFF has him as the 3rd ranked DT in all of football right now. That feels like a overselling it to me but I don't think you can cut your most natural 1T when he playing pretty well to end up with a DT room of four primary 3Ts.

I’ve already stated what I would do in numerous other threads. Daquon Jones goes to IR for 4 weeks. Yes, I realize he’s not injured but I think he’s likely to retire at the end of the year and by him getting “injured” we can put him on IR and see if we need him if another DT gets hurt. Also have Logue and Phillips at the PS. Activate Ogunjobi Trade AJ Epenesa. Hoecht will essentially become the # 3 DE which Epenesa is currently occupying and with Epenesa becoming DE 4 he is now blocking the potential development of Solomon and Landon Jackson. Trade him for a late rounder. Activate Hoecht Release Brandon Codrington: Activate Maxwell Hairston. Yup I would release Codrington. He only provides one thing and that is as a Punt returner. He is not valuable enough to keep solely for that particularly with the numbers crunch. People also have to remember he was healthy down the stretch last year and they decided to stick with Khalil Shakir as their Punt Returner down the stretch and he did very well. Place Grable on season ending Injured Reserve: People forget we can activate Grable as well in week 5 which would have to open up a roster spot. In my opinion if you have any doubts about his dome then just let him recover and let Lundt/RVD hold down the backup tackle spots. If Grable is good to go then I think the easy thing to do is try to trade RVD for a late draft pick

Too early to make any moves. Ingram being cut is possible. Why would the Bills put MM in IR to add one of the suspended guys. Who aren’t even able to practice until the bye week. They are in no way cutting DQ. They are not cutting CS or Epenesa. Cap implications for all three. They woukd have cut those guys in pre season if that was going to happen.

First person off this team of I were the GM when Max gets back... Codrington. He adds absolutely nothing at the CB position. And he's making a lot of poor choices on PR. He let one ball slip through his arms and has another "return" where he had to dive forward and catch the ball. Easily could have been another fumble. He made some poor decisions in the first two games as well. Who returns kicks then? Well, we have a lot of possibilities. Ray Davis could help out on KR. Possibly Moore. Ty Johnson. Shakir has done PR in the past IIRC. And little know fact, in his last year in college, Keon Coleman was one of the top rated returners in the nation. We are at a stage that with our offense we don't need to steal 6 points on STs. We need punt catchers....not punt returners lol. As far as the other two spots. I'm in favor of mothballing Milano til later in the season. He would head to IR. As far as the third spot? Perhaps Franklin.

I'm surprised not more has been made about Tyreek Hill and his likely availability later this season. I believe that Miami will be in sellers mode before the trade deadline and it seems a certainty that Kansas City will try to re-acquire him. Then of course there was the McDermott-Tyreek exchange at the end of last night's game where it looked like Tyreek was offering his services. If Kansas City attempts to acquire Tyreek, don't the Bills have to consider acquiring him in half to prevent him from reuniting with Mahomes/Reid and in half to give Josh the deep threat that he currently doesn't have? In response to the many posters predicting a joyous annihilation of The Fish last night, I commented that people should be careful what they wish for. On some level barring unforeseen circumstances, last night's close game was the best outcome for the Buffalo Bills. It's absolutely fair to ask whether Bosa and Rousseau have the same or different assignments.

So the fact that two DBs, on an all ready depleted secondary are injured, replaced and one replacement is an undrafted free agent, who has limited to no experience, which may be exploited, in your estimation is nonsense?

That makes it harder to count to 10, yeah. I'm wondering now because TJ O'Sullivan's breakdown of the route concepts on the right corresponds to Tua's explanation of his read on the throw and TJOS eviscerated his decision as "rookie camp stuff" for not accounting the Mike. Tua specifically said his read was the flat vs the spot, and it's a one-read - if the backer that side shades outside he makes the spot throw to Waddle, if he stays in it goes to the flat, but the Mike was never part of his read. If that's correct, then the old "One-Read Tua" joke isn't really a joke at all, it's a fact.

Sounds like they are fishing for more names for the upper bowl. I guess it’s not selling as well as they hoped. I think lower bowl sold well. Lots of obstructed views in the 400s unfortunately. i tried to post that update for discussion in the big new stadium facebook group. But they are a rah rah group and only interested in cheerleading. The admin won’t approve any legit discussion. in fact, I scooped the admin on early pricing and posted it as an FYI with images and she deleted my post as she didn’t like my comments and said she’d wait for others to confirm my info. These boards are better - you can legit discuss.

They are contributing. They're playing. Mostly at a decent level so far, certainly well for DLs in their first three games. As for doing more than that in the first three games, high draft pick or not, "expecting them to contribute right away" only shows that you're wackily expecting the world to bend to your will. Slightly more than half of first rounders don't even pan out. Pretending that any draft pick, particularly one outside the top five or ten, to start making a difference in the first three games says more about unreasonable expectations than it does about the player's results.

my buddy was just texting me about how well (albeit under the radar) DQ has played these last two games. What makes you think he is playing so terribly? (I haven’t noticed him one way or the other).

JT O'Sullivan QB School - Josh Allen vs The Fins
Ralonzo replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
"#2 just freelancing in coverage and doing whatever he wants" You can see Miami tries to drop Chubb into coverage and he's marking Moore, but Shakir runs past him and Chubb abandons his post, reverses 180 degrees and decides to double-up on Shakir leaving a total bust on Moore. From there, it's an easy toss and RAC for a first down, bleed clock, kick the fig and lights out. TJOS really killed Miami's defense throughout the video, and even the late pick calling it a "rookie camp" decision. -

He had a nice run. Inside doesn’t hurt. But at some point I assume he will get picked up. Such a mental thing. He’s young enough and has done it. -
I hear your point. But sometimes you just got to put the game in Josh Allen's hands. (See the ravens game) Even on the Hawes TD. Nothing was really open. Just a special player making an amazing play. Josh Allen is a unicorn who can make things happen even if WRs aren't open right off the bat

I agree, I'm surprised there has been so much uproar about that non-challenge. During the game watching the slow motion replay back it looked to me like his first foot was still touching the ground when he regained possession. Then I looked in the live game thread and everyone was saying he obviously didn't complete the catch? In any case that is not a call you feel confident they are going to overturn. They stick with the original ruling on the field if it isn't clear and obvious.
