10/13/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Falcons MNF Gameday Thread

There's a stale feeling throughout the fan base. There's a sense that last week/tonight might be the beginning of the end for this regime, giving way to NE. Ownership won't fire any time soon, so when I say the end, I'm referring to competing for Super Bowls. Every regime has a limited lifespan before things get stale. I'm on high alert for more signs of this tonight, as I would argue that the whole season, despite winning early, has had this feel. I hope to be pleasantly surprised and re-energized, but my confidence is very low. -

Penix has poor numbers outside 10 yards. Very low catchable ball rate. If I’m Bills I play base defense most of night. Often stacking the box, pressing, Benford on Drake, trying to stop Bijan, and daring Penix to beat us with his arm. Offense- lots of 12 and 13 personnel, smash mouth football and let James Cook. Lots of play action. Lots of Dalton. Josh his sharp self. -
Quick titans! Hire Bobby Babich before it’s too late!

Have fun bud. I’m sure the locals can help, but since I’m gone for the last 30 years, there’s others more qualified. I do hope you fun. -

I kind of feel like the Bills are going to try to force Penix to throw early in the game and try to stop Bijan early. I think they possibly are willing to give up chunk plays in the air to stop the Falcons from controlling the game. I think they want to test Penix early and hopefully force a turnover or third and long situations. It would be my strategy to have a younger less proven QB beat you rather than let an All-World RB take over the game. Then again McD makes some weird defensive decisions... -
From my couch, it was really the only thing they blew all night. I think called penalties ended being 4-2 maybe? The angst is overwrought.

Josh Allen is a special player. So anytime you have a chance to see Josh play live- go for it! Any game, Josh just might break new records. It is an amazing time to be a Bills fan! -

Glenn could lose the locker room if he continues to start Fields. https://www.ganggreennation.com/new-york-jets-news/87954/report-multiple-ny-jets-players-wanted-tyrod-taylor-over-justin-fields -

As we usually do with power backs, I expect we'll let Robinson run at will between the 20s and force Penix to beat us in the red zone. I expect a close game decided by a mistake made in communication between Penix and the Falcons sideline. -
Agreed. They will want Daboll to groom the new rookie

My boss was in town for the Miami game. He stayed at the Hyatt downtown and it was like $500-$600 a night. It’s on the nicer end of hotels. He usually is at the Marriott but it was sold out (that’s where the team stays). You can probably plan on pricing in that neighborhood. I would suggest renting a car as Ubering is a nightmare IMO. It’s not hard getting there but getting out is tricky. Where we park is $60 and that seems to be a common price. Additionally, all of the Buffalo restaurants and wing places that you hear about require driving (or more Ubers). In terms of the tailgate, we find 5 hours before kickoff to be the sweet spot. If you do choose to Uber I’d strongly suggest partying at O’Neill’s after the game for a few hours and wait for the chaos to die down. Ticket prices probably won’t go up. The guy bear me sold his KC tickets at the beginning of the year for $1600 each (so he claimed). That as much as I’ve seen for any Bills game there. The week of the game you’ll be able to get in under $200. There comes a point where they just kind of stagnate. I always wait when traveling but I’m a gambler. Hope that helps… -
Kafka would be a really hard sell.

It was a bad Sunday for the Bills. Virtually every important outcome did not go their way. I can't handle going into the bye in 2nd place in the division! LETS GO BUFF A LO! -
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/colts-qb-anthony-richardson-taken-to-hospital-with-orbital-fracture-after-eye-injury-in-pregame-warmups/ So, Colts QB Anthony Richardson was a surprise inactive yesterday. Turns out he's injured AGAIN. Broken orbital bone from a stretch band. At least it wasn't a rubber mat, I guess.

He is the last person I have ever asked to take a celebrity picture with in probably the last 30 years, super nice guy. I pray we learned our lesson and never see those god awful "cold front" uniforms again.
