  1. Past hour
  2. He walks in and is an upgrade over Hollins. Davis blocks and will be involved early downs. Offers more down field and after the catch. If he lost a step its no risk.
  3. It probably is. With his facial hair, looks like Josh!! Thing is, even if it is him, he has a lot of time to add muscle. Last season basically just ended.
  4. no he doesn't
  5. Wasn't sad to see him go because we knew he'd get massively overpaid by some dumb team. Turns out the Jags were that dumb team. When he signed that $13m/year deal with the Jags I'd have taken him back with the Bills for closer to $3-$4m/year. He's a great blocker and I have no ill will towards the guy for being massively overpaid (I'd sign that deal too!) so I'd be alright with signing him for cheap here and seeing if he can help.
  6. I think it said over his career not 1 season that would be crazy. They may have been exaggerating but I remember it being either in the 30s or 40s due to him running the wrong route.
  7. Healthy he offers more than Mack Hollins.
  8. IMHO he has no role here, can’t see him coming back unless he’s willing to do it as a backup and maybe get 20-30 targets on the season unless injuries change that. I think he wants a place where he will get more opportunities than what the Bills WR room offers him right now. I will honestly be shocked if he isn’t a Steeler or Giant before the end of this week. They both wake way too much sense right now
  9. I haven't watched any of the NBA playoffs this year as I have mostly been focused on the NHL playoffs but I keep hearing there have been some really good games and series this year so I am going to try to start catching some of the games.
  10. This is the complete off-season deadzone. It's well after free agency and enough time after the draft that all analysis on the off-season significant additions has been done. And with Moore signed it is likely the Bills don't make any signings really worth talking about (Gabe is a marginal roster reclamation project if they do resign him and what maybe they sign a vet LB for marginal depth not much is gonna happen signings wise most likely). And it's two months and some change before training camp so the "season previews" that occur in late June early July aren't there. So it is just an over analysis of everything for the next 2ish months.
  11. I'm confused about this for Pittsburgh. You traded a 2nd for Metcalf and now take a 3rd for Pickens. Is this really going to be a big enough difference? Unless there's something else coming, I have a hard time understanding it.
  12. Bobby Trees would be great about 3 years ago though.
  13. Mic drop. Well played. You win the internet today sir 🤣
  14. Bro, I dont think the Steelers FO is this dumb. We saw this EXACT scenario play out with Jets. Complete team minus the QB (admittedly tough spot to plug). Jets went full "I'll give $10 tmrw for $1 today". They had a young group of killers. Not only did Rodgers help them implode on the field, they detonated what should've been an extended window of contending. Now all those rookies from their huge draft are coming up on needing contracts, they'll lose half them, and they didnt even walk away with a WildCard to show for it. Im not trading an extended 4-5 year window, for 1 serious run (even if it was guaranteed by a Genie) PERIOD. But im especially not making that trade to acquire a guy with a mangled body & mind, thats going to result in 9 & 8 season and an IR trip anyways. I guess they are competition so i should be rooting for it to happen, but damn thatd be a serious implication on Steelers FO being completely out of touch. Its basically: Raw dog and fall in love with a diseased stripper, for one night vs Love your wife I can understand one seeming excited, but man, this is an easy proposition to say no to
  15. I think he is looking at a few options: Giants - Daboll and Chad Hall. Pitt- just traded Pickens so they have a spot open and he played one of his best games against them. Patriots - Money to burn and a distinct lack of WR talent and that is just off the top of my head. I could see him coming back to the Bills if nobody else wants him but I think that would be a last ditch move on his behalf (albeit probably his best chance to be productive). I think Buffalo would welcome him back on a cheap deal and I wouldn't be against it. I didn't love him as the #2 WR but I do think he is a very good WR 3 or 4. Can anyone speak to whether or not Brady has less option routes that the EHP system? He really struggled reading coverages correctly which led to a lot of the issues between him and Allen imo (eagles game immediately springs to mind).
  16. I get what you are saying, and I’m not against drafting WRs, as I said I was beating the Donte Thornton drum all offseason. But…I mean I think you can make a case that our room is currently cheap and talented currently. Keon is a young ascending WR who showed promise before the injury…Shakir is still probably not peaked and already a very good player who’s on a bargain of an extension. Palmer brings a lot of what we needed and didn’t break the bank…Samuel and Moore round out 4th and 5th spots fairly cheap and are guys who could start on other teams at end of our bench. The other key receiving weapons also have to be factored into the overall picture where Kincaid, also cheap and is ascending still, and we have 3 RBs who are all dangerous as pass catchers. I don’t know that adding some day 3 WR in lieu of Moore after the draft makes that room look any better on paper or “more talented” personally. It gives maybe more “upside potential” given that rookie could surprise and breakout into a better player than say some of the 5 WRs we currently have, but there is no way to know that before they step on a field. I liked Royals and thought he could be a target for us day 3, but I didn’t go into the draft or leave the draft thinking any of those WR guys were must get guys, where passing on them could be a huge mistake either. Odds are, especially in this weaker class, they aren’t going to be anything better than we already have, if even that. As with any draft, any one of them could break out and be a good to great player, but odds are not great in general before you factor in this wasn’t a great class overall. After watching embedded episode 2, it was clear the guys we took instead were all top of the board “go get” guys they loved. Doesn’t mean that 3 years from now their choices will be proven correct by any means, but it does mean they didn’t intentionally pass on any of those day 3 WRs and instead took guys who were not just the top of their board, but guys who really stuck for them. And for me, that’s all I want my GM to do, don’t reach and take the guys they graded to be the best player available. I think, and Beane has said exactly this too (and I believe him), this was just a function of where the draft was strong at and weak at. Beane isn’t done at WR, and he won’t be heading into next year either. If he sees a chance to add one that can help, he’s proven he will do it even during the season. And next year, if this group is weak this year, I think you will see Beane aggressive at adding what we need, especially after we really rebuilt our D this offseason overall. I do still wish we landed Donte Thornton though
  17. The Bills should have absolutely no interest in this guy at this point. He is not good enough to crack their top 5 and there are better developmental and special teams options. Frankly, I was glad he was gone - very unreliable. Despite some opinions, there are teams with much weaker WR depth than the Bills who would be happy to give him a vet minimum try.
  18. So you're saying that if you take away 200 yards and 2 TDs in 3 games, Worthy's playoff stats aren't as impressive?
  19. Isn't he injured? Can a player be released when rehabbing from an injury without a settlement?
  20. I would do terrible things for Watt to be on this team. Terrible, unspeakable things....
  21. Thanks for that explanation. I do agree hes a great separator and I am pretty excited for him. But I think they showed us how much of a priority he will be for the passing game (at least initially) with the way they pursued him slowly and the contract he was offered. If we did this ranking in terms of ceiling then I think he maybe the highest (though shakir still has a bit before he hits his ceiling as well as Coleman and Kincaid).
  22. Would you take him over Hollins? Him over Bobby trees?
  23. You are supposed to have a large TBD sign on your dashboard when you arrive. That’s how they keep track of us and get us to our special section.
