Pegula Divests from Knight Hawks after pulling out of Rochester Lease
Mango replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall
It has been a topic for three straight years after they win. He just sends in a short statement. Bandits threads generally devolve into laughing that they are happy not to have him him around because he struggles with the Sabres. The comments are littered with stuff like "Keep the bad juju away, we are doing fine without him". I am not sure what proof you are looking for? Like a picture of him holding the days paper at his house in Florida, with that days 10pm news on in the background? -
I always find this discussion really interesting. Most fans of the NFL agree with their top 5-10 QB's, in varying orders. We also all agree largely on the guys who stink or are just unknown. But who is the new Andy Dalton or Derek Carr in the NFL? The guy who is the "last' of the franchise QBs. IMO, some of the contenders are: Geno Purdy Tua Baker Lawrence

I have been saying it constantly for 7 years we have good players on defense. That’s why it’s so frustrating. It’s 100% the scheme. Wade Phillips would have had our defense top 3 and dominating teams in the playoffs. A good defensive coaching scheme we’d have a ring already. This IS the problem

They absolutely did. From day 1. The crazy racist POS lunatics had been completely marginalized in this country - if they ever had any influence at all that hindered ANYONE from making it in this country. We were a true post racial America. WE ELECTED AN UNKNOWN BLACK MAN NAMED OBAMA PRESIDENT 7 YEARS AFTER 9/11. There was NOTHING that needed “calling out” at all. Nothing. Unless your goal was zero cases of racism - much like Covid that’s just not possible. But shocker that’s what the left “wants.” It’s great for their political aspirations. Racism is always there! It is. But it’s among white elitist liberals especially the women. The most racist people on earth. So Obama turned the obscure into “oh it’s all institutional you see.” There is complicit bias and that devolved into literally everyone is racist. He was an absolute disaster. He set this country back years. But Trump’s win has swung us back to normalcy. Sorry if that offends you. I’m sure it does. -

Right https://www.politico.com/news/2023/05/13/biden-howard-university-white-supremacy-terrorism-00096811 “White supremacy … is the single most dangerous terrorist threat in our homeland,” Biden said. “And I’m not just saying this because I’m at a Black HBCU. I say this wherever I go.” -
I forgot about that—I read in the Crimson Muckraker that he’s also upset that Harvard is on the govt dole and has fifty billion in a slush fund. That’s why I think he’s a legit stone cold rager against the machine(s). He’s probably pissed he’s gotta deal with all that friggin money he’s made. Street cred. ✊

McDermott not in Top 10 of NFL coaches per PFF.

Two time coach of the year Stefanski? -
Shakir is really a slot, but slot WR’s get a lot of yards. Diggs on the other hand is on the wrong side of 30, on a fundamentally mediocre team. Diggs was a great WR, but he’s getting older. For his sake, o hope he has a nice year with NE.

Vince Gill wrote this one for his brother after his passing. Any version of it is beautiful and heart-breaking, but when he broke down trying to sing it with Patty Loveless at the funeral of George Jones, it rose to another level of melancholy and loss.

RIP Gerry Philbin, former NY Jet and UB Bull
BearNorth replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
In 1964 when Philbin came out, Bills DE's were Ron McDole and Tom Day. Mc Dole was one of the elite DE's in the league who went on to a long and storied 240 game career. I doubt Philbin in his first few years would have cracked the starting lineup at DE until after Day moved on in 1967. Our Outside linebackers at the time were Stratton and Tracey, who were both studs from 64-66 as well. -
McDermott not in Top 10 of NFL coaches per PFF.
thenorthremembers replied to 14774's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am huge supporter of both Beane and McDermott. McDermott needs to get better at being flexible and thinking on his feet, he also needs to get better at hiring Special Teams Coordinators. With all that said, the absolute lowest he should be on a list of Head Coaches in the league is 7th. This list in general lost any sort of credibility when they decided to put Stefanski in the top ten. -

I’ve had it with this concept that Obama/Biden “divided” you on race. They called you out on your bull#### and you couldn’t handle it at all. -
Brandon Beane "might be the most sensitive GM in the entire NFL"?
Einstein replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a topic most fans aren't ready to discuss, but you are 100% right. The Bills ownership of local media is unlike any other NFL franchise. It simply does not exist elsewhere. They literally call the shots on what gets published and what doesn't. You can even see how nervous Schopp and Bulldog got when Sam Monson said it. They immediately switched topic. -
Brandon Beane "might be the most sensitive GM in the entire NFL"?
Mango replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am not sure that is what is going on here. I cry every time I watch Cool Runnings (literally, the whole crowd clapping at the end always gets me). My quick, and uneducated $0.02 on this is that the topic is more about Beane maybe lacking some level of professionalism, tact, and/or having some thin skinned. I think there is some confusion between emotional and sensitive. Neither might be a great fit here. I don't think the criticism is Beane telling people that people criticizing his work sometimes hurts his feelings. I think the criticism is attacking talking heads for dumb hot takes and calling data aggregates because they reported that their algorithm ranks him, his team, and/or his work poorly. I am fairly ambivalent on this one. It is professional sports and the NFL. They can be aggressive. Part of me felt like the WGR outburts was refreshing. But it is also strange we are hearing about another instance where he called somebody to mother fork them about an opinion he didn't like. -

Of all the things people tell me to discount PFF for, this is the one that worries me the most. The fact that PFF is changing grades to appease general managers concerns me. Once in a while you come across a grade where you say "what in the world", and not im wondering if its because someone made a few calls.
