  1. Past hour
  2. Allen has, IMO, passed Bruce as the best player in team history.
  3. they are forever trumpers for the same reasons we are never trumpets. they desire the government and society to be turned upside down. In very real terms, they are radicals and we are conservatives. We are winners in the current system. They are losers. Unfortunately, there are many losers out there.
  4. I predict early leav-er-age
  5. Let's hope that baggage doesn't show up in the terminal in January.
  6. You know what was encouraging? The Bills sacked Lamar twice and had another sack nullified by a bogus holding penalty. They also nearly had a 4th sack if Bosa finished the play without diving and taking himself out of it. All on a limited number of passing attempts. This DL is good at rushing the passer, just have to get off run blocks.
  7. This is a good strategic move. The more the Bills make money in WNY and Ontario, that reduces the chance some fat cat will move the team when Pegula passes.
  8. More eyes on the team equals more ticket demand, which supports higher ticket prices, etc etc,
  9. I thought the Run D that never showed up for the game was a bigger issue than the fans who left it.
  10. Ha! Fair point 😂 EDIT: I also think at this stage he is just a better player in week 1 than in the Divisional Round. As great as he is at 31 the long season and impact running style does take a toll. If the Bills faced him in January I think they'd have more success against him.
  11. That is what makes the comeback so insane. Everyone was fooled. It was like 2 completely different games played by different opponents from the first 51 minutes than the last 9 minutes. The Ravens were moving the ball at will. Dick Jauron seemed to be running our offense from above. While I did leave, and lost the gamble majorly, if i was watching at home I 100% would have kept watching.
  12. It means more money, brand, and growth for the team. It makes sense and seems far more reasonable then what they did prior. Someone also made the point that if the NFL decides to put an international game in Toronto (not one we give up) and we play that team wouldn't you prefer we go there instead of Europe.
  13. We are not the ones embarrassing the team and fanbase on National TV.
  14. They didn't go for it because up 2, you don't go for it on your side of the field & practically put the other team in line for a game winning FG if you don't make it. It wasn't 4th & inches. If they went for it & failed, Harbaugh would have been tarred & feathered in Baltimore. The Bills started around their own 20 after the punt & still drove it all the way down the field quickly, but most non-Allen led teams would never have scored after the punt with limited time on the clock. You go with the percentages & trust your D to stop a team from their own 20 rather than try to make it on 4th down over a yard in that circumstance. I doubt no matter how much Lamar would have lobbied to go for it, that Harbaugh would have done anything other than punt.
  15. Didn’t realize how much that was Josh! Awesome replay! Thanks
  16. The crazy part about this, is coaches have always felt Josh has the capacity for this too. He’s INCREDIBLY intelligent. It’s really easy to forget that he wasn’t given the exposure to these things in HS and college like other players were. Not to mention he was so physically unrefined, it didn’t even matter. He’s 8 years in and there’s still untapped potential he’s realizing.
  17. All that is true, but you gotta give Cook credit for getting two dudes to wiff making that a much bigger play than it would have been.
  18. Is there any way to block the Ravens offense (or more appropriately, the Bills defense) for 3 1/2 quarters? That would make for a much more enjoyable viewing experience.
  19. This is why coaching is so important. Coaches set the tone for the entire organization. Having the patience to develop a QB comes directly from the head coach. McDermott had already bought himself job security by breaking the playoff drought, so he had the patience to let Josh Allen develop, and built a strong defense with good leaders to keep them in games. But Josh was pretty good out of the gate, in the grand scheme of things. He had lows in his rookie season, but he also had highs. And then he took the Bills to the playoffs in his second year. He was a functional QB. There was never really a time where it seemed like he was a bust or should be benched.
  20. And Bisons are the Blue Jays farm team...another tie in. Interestingly, while basketball is popular, I wouldn't say the NBA is overly popular here...and when people are fans, it is usually the Cavs(thanks to LeBron) or the Knicks...same way many are Yankees, Mets and Guardians fans, but not a ton of Blue Jay fans. Really mostly Yankee and Mets...I was a Mets fan growing up but was in a small minority surrounded by Yankee fans.
  21. That was awesome! He definitely could bring some juice and big plays to this already very good offense!
  22. The problem is that for so many of those organizations, the problem stems from one thing that can't be changed; involved, bad ownership. That's true of the Bears, Browns, Jags, Panthers, Jets, Titans, and Dolphins. It was true of the Redskins/Commanders, and towards the end Irsay got very involved in personnel decisions in Indy. We should know, as this was our problem for the better part of two decades. And it still could be if Beane and McDermott didn't have big enough personalities to get Terry to butt out of football decisions in Buffalo.
  23. Thank you. That throw was a thing of beauty. A joy forever. Josh has the clutch gene, that's for sure.
  24. I left the same time you did, for the same reason. My dad (getting up there in years) wanted to leave after the Henry TD made it 40-25 so that we could beat the traffic on our drive back to Rochester. I convinced him to stick out 1 more drive and to stay if the Bills scored, but then we punted with 9 minutes left in the game. Couldn't justify sticking this one out when my dad was already exhausted from the long day and it felt like we had 1% chance of winning. It's nothing short of miraculous that our DEF forced two 3 and outs and a fumble after that. We had only forced 1 punt (and no turnovers) on the Ravens first 9 drives.
