McDermott - "Still looking for that other safety"
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s not ideal, but it’s a reality. Hopefully a bolstered pass rush will offset those issues somewhat. -
but who will drive the trucks? Incoming roundy

What does that have to do with anything?

Paging Draftniks: Bills sign LSU CB Zy Alexander (and some other dudes)
Mat68 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would bet Alexander was in discussion when Strong was picked. I could see him as a season long practice squad stash. -
My kid asked me if I was getting HBO and I said no, so he got it😜 We are rewatching the Sopranos twenty years later. It hits differently but has some funny as heck dialogue.

Ladd McConnell should've been the pick. Shakir and ladd solves wr room

Literally liberalism is costing American citizens their lives with no benefits to 99% of the US people. The only people who benefit are those who profit off the cheap labor or the government funds to house and feed the people. -

How could the strength and conditioning staff have anything to do with a player who signed and got hurt on his first day? What strength and conditioning could they have helped him with? -

For a team like Buffalo that brought back the majority of its 2 deep preseason matters at like 4 spots on the 53. -
Thanks. I enjoy your posts too. The quote of mine you bolded specifically began with the words "purely in terms of camp and preseason contributions". I do not dispute Moore's past production in this league. That said, we saw with Marquz Valdes Scantling that that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Apparently Moore is healthy and running with the 1s as Shakir's de facto slot backup right now. If that continues, his roster spot is probably safer than I give it credit for. But again, my comments were based only on the fact that I have yet to hear of a single big or notable play that Moore has made all training camp or preseason. Purely in terms of what he's done HERE, he seems to be closer to Hamler/Virgil than Coleman/Shavers in terms of noteworthy plays.

Does there need to be a rethinking of the basic D?

It was mind boggling how he could be that athletic and yet so ineffective as a blitzer. -
There's a prequel to the Wire called The Corner on HBO, only 6 episodes but absolutely phenomenal, more gritty than the Wire , also based in Baltimore

Doubt he makes it past cut downs or ends up on the PS. He wasn’t an NFL level corner from the games I watched pre-draft. Kind of a bigger name prospect than what his talent was. -

Everything you said at the top is fair, but it's not hate... it's fatigue. We are sick of hearing about (and seeing on the field so much) a backup NFL safety. That is exactly what Hamlin is, nothing more, nothing less. I'm so glad he didn't die, it's a cool story, but the constant attention he gets is nothing but a distraction for the team. No backup player (or kicker/punter) of any sort is worth a distraction at the NFL level, shoot, even Tim Tebow couldn't survive this unwritten NFL rule. The fact that Hamlin has gotten to play as much as he had speaks to the poor quality of our safety room these last couple years, he has no business being on the field for anything other than special teams/emergency spot starts. The safety play was bad last year, and we didn't address it all other than hoping Bishop improves. This is where the frustration is coming from, that we are even in a remote position where Hamlin may have to play regular snaps. I'll give Beane/McD the benefit of the doubt on Bishop until later this season (as they earned after how Benard worked out after losing Edmunds), but if Hamlin has to play a lot this year I will lose it. -

Turnover of the crude petroleum and natural gas extraction industry In 2023, the turnover for the crude petroleum and natural gas extraction industry in Denmark was approximately 1.98 billion Euros. This represents an increase of around 330 million Euros between 2021 and 2023. The market size of this industry in Denmark for 2025 is estimated at €9.4 billion. State revenue from oil and gas Between 1972 and 2023, Denmark's state received almost DKK 700 billion in revenue from the oil and gas sector alone. In 2019, North Sea production contributed around EUR 0.8 billion in revenue. The total aggregate state revenues from hydrocarbon production in the North Sea between 1972 and 2020 amounted to approximately DKK 544 billion (discounted by GDP-deflator in 2020-level), with DKK 0.8 billion generated in 2020 alone. State revenue is generated primarily through:Taxation: Hydrocarbon tax (52%). Corporate income tax (25%). Dividends from Nordsøfonden: Nordsøfonden has managed the state's 20% share of all new licenses since 2005 and the state's 20% share of the Dansk Undergrund Consortium (DUC) since July 9, 2012. Feel free to look it up by any of the ones you mentioned. Sweden is a net importer of crude oil, meaning it relies on other countries for its supply. While Sweden has a refining capacity of 454 kb/d, it produces no crude oil domestically. In 2023, Sweden imported around 18 million tonnes of crude oil and was a net exporter of refined products, according to Enerdata. Here's a more detailed breakdown: No Domestic Production: Sweden does not produce any crude oil. Import Dependence: Sweden relies on imports to meet its crude oil needs. Refining Capacity: Sweden has a significant refining capacity, with five refineries and a total capacity of 454 kb/d. Net Exporter of Refined Products: Despite importing crude oil, Sweden is a net exporter of refined petroleum products. Major Trading Partners: In 2023, Sweden's main crude oil suppliers were Norway, the United Kingdom, and the United States -

I was a big criticizer of Gabe, he produced no volume. Put up too many goose eggs. Dropped too many balls. Awful catch%. Involved in what felt like 50+% of Josh INT's. Knee jerk reaction is NFW! Settling in and thinking, he could be a nice PS addition at minimum for emergency. Possibly work his way into that Hollins role. Maybe he can get rid of the yips when hes not being asked to produce at a #2. I hated Hollins as a #2, but began to love him in the limited 4th wr spot, and especially the run specialist snaps. Line him up on 10 run formation plays, ask him to pass block on 9 of em.... 1 play-action or send him on a route outta a heavy formation. Any trust would need to be earned slowly, and be OK with that role
