  1. Past hour
  2. Preston Ridlehuber, a reserve running back, came into a close game against the Boston Patriots and threw a long halfback option pass for a touchdown. It was the difference in the game. I remember the name but googled it to be sure of my facts and found an interesting fact. He was the player for the Oakland Raiders who scooped up the onside kick to beat the Jets in the “Heidi” game
  3. Now they are all of the same mind---don't rock the boat, maximize revenue.
  4. The Prez should not be negotiating cease fire or any other deals through social media. Trump's fatal flaw may be he fails to distinguish between the functional roles of US President and Corporate CEO. They are definitely different.
  5. Don’t forget this classic: ”It got to the point that we were in action, and she said, in my ear, ‘go deeper’. Stay with me now; what hurt me is I was already all the way in. So, I had ran out of peepee…”
  6. Jets fans are still crying about not giving up a bucket of draft picks for him.
  7. In the good ‘ol days the league had this same collusion meeting every year. It’s just that back then it was more accurately labeled as the “Can somebody please tell Al Davis to knock it off?” Meeting. 😉
  8. they say Nostradamus died in 1566....
  9. this corporation doesn't have a real CEO or board of directors. it's 32 equals who channel their decisions through a well payed lackey.
  10. Top Gun: B2 Death From Above would have sucked.
  11. Kind of related, but not really. Events of this past weekend in Iran point to something those of us in the "business" have been saying since the movie's release. Topgun Maverick used F-18's in the defining strike. That mission was clearly meant for the B-2, and using F-18's was gross entertainment license. Anyway, vindication on that call.
  12. I don't hate anyone doc. that post wasn't about Pegula....
  13. The thing that gives me pause is that Trump seems to value a public victory lap over substantive results. Hopefully, the success of this will lead to some reliable prohibitions against Iran resuming. There is no evidence of that yet. In the meantime, it seems there has been a Hamas ambush today that killed a number of Israeli soldiers. Hasn't hit the media yet, but serves as a reminder of reality.
  14. That’s why I cut a hole in the wall
  15. Because the line goes on forever and it's a very "safe" place to be for a very long time. I disagree with your opinion that deporting anyone that is in the USA illegally is inhumane.
  16. Not seeing Elam at all Last game at Rich Stadium
  17. The “dastardly deeds” moron. Shocker.
  18. I doubt the Bills go anywhere with the new stadium being constructed. However, I can only imagine the wrath of fans if they just paid for a new stadium to sit empty. Time to weld some armor on your Bulldozers..
  19. Hell freezes over, Sasha in the HOF!
  20. I know. That’s why I posed the question. You do have a habit of distilling things down to skin color.
  21. Players (and fans) should know by now that Roger is the "HR" of the NFL. He isnt there to protect the workers, he's there to protect the company (the Shield) from the workers.
  22. The Watson signing was the focal point I think. Bidwell, the Cardinals owner, was quoted in the ruling as saying "Cleveland really screwed things up". More context to that quote... Spanos, the Chargers owner, told Bidwell "Your deal (with Murray) helps us for our QB next year.” To which Bidwell responded “I think many teams will be happy with it once they have a chance to review." (along with the Cleveland comment)
  23. Shooting people in Gaza trying to get food, for one. Lobbing missles at Syria, for another.
  24. Almost had it.......
  25. But February made me shiver With every paper I'd deliver Bad news on the doorstep I couldn't take one more step I can't remember if I cried When I read about his widowed bride But something touched me deep inside The day the music died
