  1. Past hour
  2. Again, imagine if Gaetz and MTG in 2022 pushed their way through the front door of the DC jail and shoved and elbowed officers in the process? Does anyone doubt that they'd have been arrested, charged and jailed?
  3. Why? They can have a horrible year and be in line to draft Arch Manning ..
  4. That sounds like his unreasonable way of seeing things. I’m glad he’s not my father. My kid was never valedictorian, but I’m still very proud of all he’s accomplished.
  5. Great timing for the Saints. I wonder if they'd be interested in a lightly used former #1 pick?
  6. NBC show Sunday night football announcement. Sunday night or Christmas
  7. Not to mention having to let people scoot past as they walk back and forth up and down the aisle to go on a run for more beer, snacks or bathroom. I swear some people spend 80% of the game either in or heading back and forth to/from the concourse. Just sit down and watch the game. Then you got traffic after the game and drunken idiots all around. I'm happier at home relaxing.
  8. This was all a staged Democrat stunt that they used to be able to get away with via their comrades in the reliable media. Newsflash: This doesn't work anymore. But by all means keep it up. 🤣
  9. It feels like the Ravens know that the evidence doesn't look good for Tucker. This guy has been a huge part of their franchise, if they felt even decently at all about his innocence I think they'd have his back much more than this. Me neither. Even the whole Trevor Bauer thing where he may be "innocent"...he basically still gets off on hitting women and sent all those texts from his own phone and social media. It's so bizarre to me why they put themselves in those positions. Even just at baseline if we're taking him at his word...using your own Instagram and "playing rough" with a woman you barely know when you're a famous athlete is just stupid.
  10. There's so much fan reaction to this situation that I just dont get. Besides the manufactured outrage over the innocuous social media posts, this idea that somehow a short-term $15M/yr avg contract will somehow cripple the team and put us in cap hell just doesnt add up. Especially when any of us amateurs can structure a reasonable and team-safe deal with minimal effort. I understand Beane's measured approach and pinching pennies on early extensions where he is gifting guys a good, guaranteed payday before their rookie deal ends. But that approach also (should) provide the wiggle room to go closer to market value if/when needed. That's why I think a deal will get done, but closer to Cook hitting FA. No point in negotiating with market value numbers now when Beane is only negotiating against himself. But we can (and hopefully will) bump up the offer when Cook earns it with another year of top production. I just hope by then it isnt too late because if he does produce, his number only goes up.
  11. Because he excelled in a season playing under Ron Rivera who has similar defensive philosophies as McDermott.
  12. My fat a$$ fits perfectly on my couch in front of my 70” TV, where I have unlimited access to cheap beer and fattening food. I love the stadium experience, but not at these out of control prices. One years worth of season tickets for two will pay for a new TV, couch, surround sound, buffalo bills decor and all the snacks/beer you can eat!
  13. This is why you maximize Allen’s window. NFL careers are fleeting.
  14. Where's the wiring, heated seats need electricity. 😁 Those construction workers sitting side by side couldn't be any closer to each other, looks like a tight fit.
  15. I noticed this with my nephews team in Frisco. They've had a lot of D1 scholarship athletes since he's been there, a rising senior. The OL are all fairly thick but not the big mass guys we used to see 20 years ago. The linebackers, the defensive ends, the tight ends - these guys are all much smaller and so much more athletic than previous generations of high school athletes and it's transitioning to the NFL. These kids have advanced plyometrics and traits we aren't used to seeing - which prevents some injury from wear and tear but they're getting their ass lit up with hits.
  16. That was forst thing I said when I saw the seat. Pegula was prob like they don’t sit down anyway just get the cheapest ones
  17. These seats confirm my greatest fear. I was hoping for a modern stadium with comfortable seats, a wide concourse, easily accessible bathrooms, and good concessions. If these seats are an indication, we might see more of a “basic model” stadium that doesn’t do much to upgrade the experience.
  18. I meant nobody reputable in their mock draft had Hancock above Barron. I'd question their overall knowledge of how scouts as a whole feel about a certain player. I know some didn't like Barron because of his arm length. Trapasso had Baltimore taking him at #27 in his final one. Sorry for the confusion.
  19. Meanwhile, outside of the stupid racist and nazi distractions, a real grown up adult problem. Congress needs to address debt ceiling before its August recess to prevent default, Treasury secretary says By Tami Luhby, CNN Updated: 6:06 PM EDT, Fri May 9, 2025 Source: CNN Lawmakers have until August to address the debt ceiling or the US could default on its obligations for the first time ever, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent wrote to congressional leaders Friday, urging them to act even sooner, “to protect the full faith and credit of the United States.” The projection gives Republican lawmakers – who control Capitol Hill – a firmer deadline of when they have to pass their massive budget reconciliation bill, which aims to increase the debt ceiling along with extending the 2017 tax cuts and slashing federal spending. In his letter, Bessent said there is a “reasonable probability” that the cash and extraordinary measures that are allowing Treasury to continue paying the nation’s bills in full and on time will be exhausted in August, pointing out that is when Congress is scheduled to be in recess. But he noted that the projection is subject to “significant uncertainty.” “Therefore, I respectfully urge Congress to increase or suspend the debt limit by mid-July, before its scheduled break, to protect the full faith and credit of the United States,” he wrote. Treasury has been using cash and extraordinary measures to pay the nation’s bills in full and on time since January 21, when the US hit its roughly $36 trillion debt ceiling. Once the nation reaches that cap, which it has done repeatedly, it can no longer borrow to cover its obligations in full and on time. A default would likely cause global economic upheaval. House GOP leaders are closely monitoring projections for the so-called X-date, when the government could default, House Speaker Mike Johnson said at an Axios event in late April. “That’s a big pressure point, and we don’t know exactly when that X date will fall,” Johnson said, noting at the time that he was working under the assumption it could be as early as the beginning of June. “We can’t be caught flat-footed on this.” However, the caucus remains divided over how to address all three of its goals in the “big, beautiful bill,” leaving leaders with the tricky task of constructing a package that can get enough GOP votes to pass both chambers. In March, Bessent told lawmakers that he would continue using extraordinary measures – which are largely behind-the-scenes accounting maneuvers – through June 27. The Congressional Budget Office in March projected that the “X-date” would be reached in August or September. Though they control Congress, Republicans are divided over how to handle the debt ceiling. The House has included a $4 trillion increase to the cap in its budget resolution, while the Senate version raises the limit by $5 trillion. President Donald Trump has pushed GOP lawmakers to address the limit as soon as possible. See Full Web Article
  20. The Ghost of Ralph is cheap!
  21. There are rumors going around that it will be Bills vs Bengals on Sunday Night Week 1. THey said it on the Buffalo Plus podcast yesterday and I have seen it a couple other places too. If true, man......probably no tougher matchup for our overhauled defense to have to work the kinks out against right out of the gate. Not sure if this is what Allen will be part of announcing or if it will be something else, but it is something that's out there.
