Nobody is trying to change your mind about how well Chinese workers are treated. They choose it, after all! lmao https://www.hrw.org/news/2024/02/01/china-carmakers-implicated-uyghur-forced-labor https://www.dol.gov/agencies/ilab/against-their-will-the-situation-in-xinjiang https://www.state.gov/forced-labor-in-chinas-xinjiang-region/ https://www.rfa.org/english/news/china/workers-labor-rights-wages-oxen-horses-10022024163703.html https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cdrylgvr77jo http://www.cecc.gov/events/hearings/from-cobalt-to-cars-how-china-exploits-child-and-forced-labor-in-the-congo

I think/suspect that pegula has a fragile ego and an inferiority complex. He has missed so many times, especially in the hockey realm. It isn't just hockey side either. The business side has churned and has had much dysfunction as well. I remember a chill in my spine when pegula was first introduced, when he bragged about how he never lost or fired an employee with his fracking business. Judging by things that he and Kim have said, they think they have an otherworldly ability to read people for their "authenticity" as Kim called it, and the ability to excel at their jobs. The organization is full of Terry's little potential success stories. All these nobodies that he plucked out of the usdp. He yearns for that Athletic column that shows how right he was, and how successful the sabres have been doing it his way. Adams is his magnum opus discovery. Appert is another major one and is tabbed for HC after this season. College educated people can easily manipulate the Pegulas by making them feel smart and feeding their egos. The pegulas are then manipulated by the much smarter individual.

Another WEI Hire - White, Entitled and Incompetent

I’m past the point in my life where I need to try to pirate a TV signal. Even at $400 you’re basically looking at $22/week for every game plus RZ, which to me is a bargain when I consider I’m drinking my own beer and eating my own food — or watching on my iPhone or iPad while on the go. But to each his own. Hopefully YT will give us renewers a little break again to make it an even better deal.

I like Keon and I think Palmer is a good (far from great) outside WR. A better outside target than Keon at the moment due to his ability to separate….whereas Keon doesn’t have much ability to get separation. I see Keon as a big Shakir with jump ball ability. Best in the slot but will play outside due to necessity. Get him the ball and let him run passed/through the defenders. its pretty obvious to me based on what you wrote, that you just dislike Palmer as a player. So maybe you’re the one that is underrating Palmer. I like Keon plenty….i just think he has to improve his route running to play outside full time.

Trump: "REBUILD, AND OPEN ALCATRAZ"
SectionC3 replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Finally I agree with you on something. He proposes this nutty ess to distract the masses--including and especially people like you--from his many failings. Egg prices, inflation, trade, trade deals, even immigration. You name it. If it matters, he screws it up. So why not propose stuff like MAGAza, and Alcatraz, to distract from the bigger things, like his bad economic policies? -
I think that’s higher end as well….for our offense. A run first, spread the ball around to keep the defense off balance type offense. regarding Mack’s PT….he was in there to block more than he was to catch passes….no?
-
don't really care. we are set at WR. so, whatever. we are trying to get faster with guys who can seperate; Gabe can't do either

Shakir Palmer Moore Samuels Knox Dalton Coleman

The continuing trend of players leaving Buffalo's system and not doing much of anything. Goes to show you how much of an MVP Allen really is. Should win it every season, lol.
-
Him being top 10 in some stats doesn’t prove that he and his QB are in sync…. He’s a talented TE. I’m not disputing that…... Watching the games last season, you thought Josh and Kincaid were on the same page? I most certainly did not

nope. epitome of famous quote....what we have here, is a failure to communicate....cool hand luke

Delray Beach? That place is really cool... I've never watched sports there, but have seen Crazy Fingers (a grateful dead tribute band) there a good number of times. Delray is really cool (I lived in ft lauderdale for 8 years, in raleigh NC now). Man now I'm thinking about DADA and how cool that restaurant is and how we had some really nice times with friends there a bunch of times. Packy's on Sample is a pretty freaking cool bills backers bar (I moved away in 2020 fwiw)

except there are people at a bar. I don't like people

His $11m guaranteed this year from Jacksonville has offsets so we could pay him the vet minimum ($1.17m) and Jacksonville has to foot the rest of the bill. There's no incentive for Gabe to sign above the vet minimum. The question now just becomes if both sides are interested in a reunion.

It might be cool or it might suck. Just depends on how they do it and how much fan input they allow. If they leave it in the hands of people without real connections to the teams it will show and be hated. Some of these alt unis are sharp but most are a disaster bc they get away from simplicity that makes a uni look good. The nba and mlb have a lot of games so changing it up makes a lot more sense, too. That Nike is involved doesnt likely bode well for good designs. My money is on a Niagara Falls theme.

TJ Watt Speculation after Pickens trade (Nothing Official)
Alphadawg7 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
A guy who’s already had injuries you see playing at a high level until he is 36? And at a position where 32 commonly begins the falling off a cliff portion of their careers? I wouldn’t bank on that. I’m all for adding him because all I care about right now is winning the Super Bowl this year. But to expect him to be a high end player for 6 more years is a low percentage bet. For context: His brother JJ Watt is 36 now and been retired since 2022 and only had one good season in his 30’s. -
One - there is 0% chance to be WR3. Our top 3 guys are without question Keon, Palmer, and Shakir. Only injuries could change that. Two - We aren’t likely keeping 6 WR, and if we do it would be to keep a ST player only like Shenault as a returner. Especially with all the new guys brought in for the secondary and DL. So to bring him means at least Moore would be gone. He would be a backup here playing more as a WR4/5 with Samuel at best. And we still have Kincaid and the RBs (who all 3 RBs catch and made up 20% of Allen’s target last year). That means Davis would be coming here for a role that is destined for 10-30 catches at best without injuries creating more opportunities. Do you really think Davis is going to choose that minimal role over a team where he could compete to start or at least be an actual WR3? Seems less likely to me than him going to a team with a bigger need and potential role like Giants, Steelers, Pats, Ravens, Sea, SF, etc.
-
He showed potential here. Had no interest in resigning him last year for the money he wanted. Vet minimum? Sure, bring him in. Much more than that? Nope.
-
It is Bosa for me. We have missed that pass rush to bring down Mahomes in the playoffs...We need him to get to the QB in key moments.

Taylor Elgersma - Practice Squad in 2025 ???
Aussie Joe replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
They say no other fan base is as obsessed with the practice squad QB as the Buffalo Bills
