  1. Past hour
  2. i read it initially just the opposite, that Trey pushed to play........ but with your reminder how Higgins went Sunday...yeah opens my mind to it could be Bengals the pushed him .....ty
  3. I love it when you talk dirty 😄
  4. Funny enough I don’t think the chiefs have looked much worse this year than their 15-2 season last year or the season before that eye test wise they’ve just had polar opposite close game results. They didn’t really look ‘right’ last year either but still powered through (until the Super Bowl of course lol) KC is the 5th ranked offense and 7th ranked defense in ypg right now, 11th ranked offense and 7th ranked defense in points, and 6th in DVOA if you’re into the nerdy sh*t 😂 all of that is better than last season except for defensive ppg which is 0.2 higher I don’t think people really comprehend how random and unpredictable close game results are and the 2024 chiefs vs 2025 chiefs is the best example I’ve seen of that in awhile.
  5. we have a solid 3 months left of John Stallworth jokes!
  6. So he only needs 700 yards on Sunday to pass the mark that OJ set in a 14 game season? Come on boys! Put your backs into it…dammit!
  7. Steve DeBerg did the same thing at 45 with that falcons team in 1998. He saw game action once and it was a disaster
  8. Josh Johnson? Teddy Bridgewater? Any of those guys doing the insurance commercials. 😂
  9. Respectfully, how would you know that? I've seen 60 year olds that are in incredible shape. I find it very plausible that a former elite athlete has kept in damn good shape since retirement. He also essentially has endless assets compared to most of us. I'm sure he's eating well. Its not like hes going to be running a bunch of QB runs. His job is to hand the ball off and stand in the pocket. He's a HOF player and knows what to do. I think this will go better than people think I think it was Jaxson Dart that said he worked out with Rivers recently and he could still sling it. The colts aren't stupid. If Rivers showed up and they thought the couldn't do it, he wouldnt have been offered a contract
  10. Yes. I was saying I’d take Rivers over a healthy Richardson.
  11. The 4.8 40 is always lingering as to what his ceiling can be.
  12. For much of this season Cook has been even more important than Allen, honestly.
  13. This is an internet chat room not a court case deposition. Would you prefer it if I’d said “PROBABLY can’t”? Or cited every mediocre head coach that has won it? McDs resume grows with every passing season. He’s shown me nothing to indicate this year will be any different from recent playoff failures.
  14. wow and his camp was pushing for a trade all season. What a Billsy thing it would have been if Beane had done it just before the trade deadline. omg lol
  15. I mean, I think what we are seeing is kind of who is going to be for his entire career. Maybe an uptick here or there on receptions, but otherwise just a high level blocker who can sneak out and catch a ball every now and then.
  16. you might be reasonable …most of your fan base isn’t …they are spoiled and by now quite used to having success ….
  17. They absolutely do not to an NFL strength and conditioning regime. Of course they still work out, but it’s just like the rest of us. There’s no trainers, nutritionists, physios, etc that keep these guys in game shape.
  18. True in one sense. Starting Leonard for the outside world at least is an automatic L. Rivers is more than likely going to look awful but it might give them a jolt. Rivers I am sure can at the very least be a leader and mentor Leonard somewhat.
  19. Oh people are greedy and want more, but any reasonable person knows they are exceeding a lot more than planned and they are a good draft and FA away from being a true SB contender with Maye.. maybe that’s just me
  20. Rivers coming off the couch at age 44 after being retired for 5 seasons and winning the SB would be incredibly ridiculous, crazy, and in some ways the perfect ending to this insanity of a season. Of course I am obviously not rooting for this, I am just saying. It tracks.
  21. Heath Miller of Steelers, or if he could put on weight Larry Brown of Steelers who became an OT.
  22. I'm sure he's everything McD and Beane expected, a exceptional blocker to compliment the O line. He's actually turned out to be a great safety valve for Josh when pass plays break down pretty much because they don't pay him any attention. 😅 He's a keeper no doubt. Gotta love a specialty guy who loves doing the dirty work others hate. There's no finesse and his hands are still a question. What there is is an elite knowledge of run concepts, competent ability to engage and finish and eagerness to bury people's faces in the turf. To me his ceiling is a better blocking Dawson Knox.
  23. One of those boutique wineries that Ontario and New York State seem to be overrun by...🤔🤨
