  1. Past hour
  2. Is anyone in the AFC a " championship team"? We couldn't run vs Tampa and still won. Same vs Baltimore. I said before this team reminds me a lot of the 23 chiefs. I've heard KC fans say similar things.
  3. No one was specifically talking about him playing today. He was drafted to be their future, they let Darnold walk, and JJ hasn’t looked good at all. This thread is about Justin Jefferson and posters are discussing him possibly wanting out because JJ doesn’t look good. The conversations has nothing to do with today’s game, besides Jefferson’s lack of comment after today’s game being the spark for this conversation. You’ve really missed the mark if you think all of this conversation is about one game with a backup qb.
  4. Sure, why not, after all we’re the GD BUFFALO BILLS!!!
  5. Jim was definitely talking about a different kind of shot. He may have had a whole tray of them on the sideline!
  6. They did a great job, but if you ask Steeler nation, Watt has been washed for over 2 seasons. They still handled the rest of the steelers front 7 which is a tall order, especially given what we have to work with right now.
  7. My thoughts are the same as they've always been. The same as they were when I responded to you after the Bucs game. This is not a Championship team. The win was fun, as was the Bucs game. But it's the same story as it's always been all season. The same story I said after the Bucs game. If we can overcome teams keying in on trying to stop James Cook and through sheer will and skill force it to work regardless of that - we're in good shape. As we were today, as we were against teams like Tampa Bay and Carolina. But when we can't do that - we're f-cked. It's over. Doesn't matter who the team is. It could be the Falcons, Dolphins, or Jets. Stop the run and it's game over. And against the best teams, the Eagles and Patriots of the world - it's unlikely we're going to be able to do what we did today. So, no, I do not think we can win out.
  8. Jim Kelly said something similar IIRC, that he actually felt more dialed in after taking an initial shot in a game—of course, Kelly could also dish it out, was a tough sonofagun…
  9. No offense, but you don’t really leave any room for anyone else to get any credit when they do something by talking like this. He got open, he caught the ball. The thing you and everyone else says every day he can’t do. I don’t know what Coleman can be, but I know what he has been has not been good enough so far. So I’m not here to make excuses for him. But at the same time, it’s such a waste of energy to spend so much time trying to take away from him anything he does positive like you’re attempting to do here. It’s fine to still doubt him, not have confidence in him, etc. It’s another thing to go out of the way to discredit anything positive he does just to maintain that opinion. He made a big play in a big moment when this team really needed it. Just let the kid have that, why try and take that away, makes no sense. Let’s just hope he builds on it, hope Brady finds better ways to get him involved…because we will be a better football team if that happens. And who knows, maybe it’s more of the same issues moving forward that got him benched, if so, he probably won’t be on the team next year. But at least leave room for the kid to prove he has value to the team.
  10. Not saying they will, but I definitely think they can. I think we take the Pats in Foxboro, and while the Browns defense is great, their offense is terrible. Then, are other three games are at home where we’re pretty dominant. Plus, our December record over the years is really good. Go Bills!
  11. The good news is, I think we are 23-4 in December/January regular season games since 2020. So, we do have a good shot at it
  12. Depends on how healthy they can get quickly imo. if guys like Kincaid are back next week I think they’ve got an ok shot at it but will probably lose 1. If it’s the same kinda banged up team they’ll probably lose 2
  13. That's not a thing that's happened suddenly. He was terrible at it last year too. Said it a million times and I'll say it a million times more, it made zero sense to me that they'd rush to do an early extension on him. I saw a stark drop off between 2023 and 2024. Of the big 5 we had to re-sign, he was easily the 5th most important to me. I wouldn't have signed all 5 and I wouldn't have re-signed him (Benford, Shakir, Cook were the guys I said i'd have re-signed). The absolute most I'd have done is revisited the idea of signing him after seeing how he was in 2025. And he's been worse this year (when he's on the field). I don't know what happened in 2023, but that was clearly a mirage. I couldn't wrap my head around rushing to get his extension done and it's downright enraging to me now.
  14. Critical catch but frustrating drop. Caught another slant. Hoping his confidence builds before the playoffs. I don't need him to be a star, just make some plays. Hang in there Keon!
  15. That too, but it goes all the way back to the early years of the old Tree Rivers Stadium.
  16. Obviously this locker room is pretty close. Do you think this critical road win could be the late season spark to win out and go on a run? The team has flaws, but remains extremely dangerous... What are your thoughts?
  17. Wow! Thank you and I never thought I would wear the gold jacket… GO BILLS
  18. Thankfully it wasn’t the reverse outcome on those two plays haha
  19. No, only if it affects his practice or playing time. And since Josh isnt coming out of that #1 spot and is full go in everything, they dont have to report any of it. That's why every post season you hear about guys who played through fractures, tears, etc. Never stopped them so not on the injury report.
  20. Honestly... he was forced into it. Why didn't he adjust halfway through the Houston game?
  21. Totally understand the way contact, and moreover cheap shots, bring out the apex competitor in Allen (and wish Brady embraced it the way Daboll seemed to, calling QB runs often enough to keep his QB on the hunt). HOWEVER, I have serious concerns about any team that doesn't come out and play every game, start to finish, with a focused urgency and/or rage. I know they're human beings, and mostly very rich and usually very sore/injured human beings at that, but WTF?! Players only have 17 (regular season, if they're lucky) opportunities each year to perform and prove their value to the team/league/posterity. Been a lot of sleepy first halves (especially on offense) this season innit
  22. Need to see more of Grable at some point but Van Demark has played solid in tough spots over the past couple of years and I think he deserves a shot at being a full time starter in the league. It certainly feels like Anderson will be starter here somewhere next year whether it be at guard or center depending on what happens with Edwards/McGovern. It does feel like Dion is somewhat replaceable with some of these guys, however with his restructure and such he does not seem like a realistic cut candidate.
  23. the one that bounced off his hands is basically the kind of catch we drafted him for. Dude just plays soft.
  24. The defense limiting points off turnovers is somehow pretty standard for this team. It’s really bizarre considering how meh they’ve been most of the non post-turnover drives up until the last few weeks haha. I think they’ve only given up two or three td drives off turnovers all year and we’ve had a bunch of turnovers 😂. Probably like 3/17 giving up the td
