Thank you! Every single year we have the same discussion (as football fans). Everything is set in stone, Team A is "done" Team B is going to run away with whatever. Then Will Levis, a man who adds mayonnaise to his coffee, come out of nowhere and takes down a division leader and resets the entire thing. The thing is, this happens EVERY YEAR. There are always upsets or games nobody saw coming that totally change things. Just this season: Miami led us 16-0 in the second half and eventually blew us out after firing their GM and trading players away. Cleveland beat Green Bay and made Love look horrible. The pathetic Falcons blew us out on MNF Joe Flacco threw for like 600 yards and 7 TD to beat the Steelers 97-96 (I'm exaggerating but that game was drunk) This season has some more craziness to it. Every NFL team has talent and some guys are getting an opportunity for the first time and want to live their dream and build a career for themselves. It's their Super Bowl. Oh another one: the Saints just beat the Bucs last week!

Regarding the OP's initial question, I believe that Josh has absolutely played himself back into the race. And his credentials for this season are remarkable: -- Broke the record for most rushing TDs by a QB -- Became the first QB with 20+ TD passes and 10+ TD runs for multiple seasons -- Is the only QB to have beaten Joe B, Lamar and Mahomes all in the same season -- On pace for career best Completion % -- Multiple signature performances (Baltimore, Tampa Bay and Cinci) Beauty will be in the eye of the beholder. Despite Josh's accolades (and clearly having to do more with less surrounding talent), Maye and Stafford are certainly strong competitors for the MVP too. Maye's meteoric rise and key role in getting the Pats from worst to first in the AFCE certainly makes him worthy; if the Pats beat the Bills this weekend (regardless of how it transpires), it is hard to imagine voters giving the MVP to Josh over Maye who would have gone 2-0 against him this season. Stafford is playing at a ridiculously high level -- and his advanced age certainly could make him a sentimental favorite with voters.

I am also, and I don’t know why people are having a hard time with this, stating facts of numbers. If Cook has 290 rushes at his 5.3 yard per carry average, from a history stand point it will be the third most yards in Bills rushing history at about 1,525. Why are people having an issue with me stating a numeric fact? at what point anywhere in my post did I say, “That makes Cook the best RB in Bills history with the best rushing season ever!”? The third highest total in franchise history would…ya know…be a big deal. I wrote nothing more. The only comparison I made was in number of carries and where Cook may end up.

Everyone in the AFC is hoping for the Steelers bye The 5 seed is basically a 2nd bye week if PIT wins that division but becomes very tough if either BAL or CIN do. For all their issues Baltimore would be a tough out at home in the playoffs. All the talk early in the year was that Baltimore was the best team in the AFC and this was going to be Lamar's year to get it done.

The heated field isn't enough to prevent snow build up while it is actively snowing. It just prevents the turf from freezing solid and also from going dormant. Cleveland and Green Bay both have natural grass/heated fields and both still have snow games. Check out images from the Browns/Steelers game last November.

Based on what was possible at the time I’d take neither. I would have rather had McConkey at least he’s a dependable WR2/3; Coleman was a lower-volume, with possible higher upside WR3/4 that hasn’t materialized. Worthy is really just a faster gadget guy and about as productive as Coleman and that’s with Mahomes & Andy at KC. If he’s not cutting it there, you think he’s producing here?🙄

Yeah the very thought that something like that could happen is ridiculous. It would be like a 9-3 Dolphins team a couple of years ago losing to a team like the Will Levis led Titans.
