  1. Past hour
  2. When McDermott gives up the defense to a deserving coordinator, we’ll be better off. But I still root for the guy through and through. Josh is MVP now. The haters can shove it. McDermott has more to do to shed criticism. Just the way it is. He’s got skin thicker than any of us. For that he deserves our respect. You’d have to be crazy not to root for what we brung.
  3. What was Palmer doing on some of the passes earlier in the game though? There was one he just stood there and we were very lucky the Ravens guy didn’t pick it off.
  4. It's like they didn't have the whole off season to evaluate the Punter? Aaah that makes sense.
  5. I don't know if this article is correct, but this could explain why the Bills waited until this week to make a change: Oftentimes, NFL teams wait until after Week 1 to sign vested veterans, because their contracts are automatically guaranteed if they’re on opening-week rosters.
  6. Could be a photoshop of McDermott as a punter or a twin.
  7. Maybe if he spent his time studying film instead of changing plays he’d… oh never mind
  8. That won't happen. He torched that bridge. I wish I could find video of it, but when Mahomes mismanaged the clock at the end of the first half in the AFC CG in 2021, Tyreek was screaming at him all the way into the locker room. Then Mahomes only targeted him twice for no catches in a second half when the Chiefs only scored 3. Everyone credits a huge defensive adjustment by Cincinnati for the Chiefs second-half struggles in that game, but I argue that things were said in that locker room that broke that team. Tyreek had to go, and a few months later the Chiefs traded him in what was a huge surprise move at the time.
  9. You must've missed his 28 yard punt in the 4th Q.
  10. I am pretty surprised by this. I didn't notice punting issues besides maybe one that was short. What made him so bad?
  11. If only we had a crystal ball, we could’ve taken the athletic freak Emmanwori in the first round, who was one of the stars of Seahawks training camp. He got hurt in game 1 and had to go out, but he’d easily be our SS of the future. I know Cole Bishop is more suited for SS, but Bishop ain’t Emmanwori. Would’ve been a fun chess piece.
  12. I think that was true the last few years. But now, with the way the team played Sunday, and how odd and somewhat dysfunctional the offseason was, things have gotten pretty sour with the fanbase. I checked in on their message board today, and the glaring sentiment is basically what they have now is s train wreck. From the owner, GM and now McDaniel, frustration is boiling over.
  13. Haha, no "nervous nellie" here. I actually think we will win 5 consecutive easy games after this Jets game. And a Bills let down is barely a consideration. I just think this Jets team is pretty solid this year, and the Bills are not ready to click on all cylinders yet in Week 2. We'll see who's right. I'll have Jets +6.5 and pay a price if I'm wrong.
  14. https://www.gridiron-uniforms.com/GUD/controller/controller.php?action=single-weekly&game_id=2025_BUF-NYJ^2 Nantz and Romo on the call for Bills at Jets
  15. Comment on how the Biden admin inflated the numbers?
  16. 4th Best WR in league in yards this week. He may not have amazing speed but he breaks ankles.. and for a frame of his size to do that? yea.. Id say he improved... now I want to see more like this before i can say he is a BONIFIED #1 WR in this league.. but at the least.. he has shown he is a strong #2.
  17. Ok. Let’s do this. Where would any one of Coleman/Shakir/Palmer (CSP) rank on other AFC rosters: MIA — Hill/Waddle. CSP - #3 NYJ — Wilson. CSP - #2 NE — Diggs/Hollins. CSP - #1 CIN — Chase/Higgins. CSP - #3 PIT — Metcalf. CSP - #2 BAL — Flowers/Hopkins. CSP - #2/#3 CLE — Jeudy/Tillman. CSP - (even) KC — Rice/Worthy. CSP - #2/#3 LA — McConkey/Johnston. CSP - #2/#3 LV — Myers/Tucker. CSP - #1/#2 DEN — Sutton/Franklin/Mims. CSP - #2/#3 JAX — Thomas/Hunter/Brown. CSP - #2/#3 IND — Pittman/Downs/Mitchell. CSP - #3/#4 HOU — Collins/Kirk/Dell. CSP - #3/#4 TEN — Ridley. CSP - #2 Maybe I’ll get around to the NFC later on, but just in the AFC alone — Beane’s WR room easily ranks in the bottom 1/3rd. The only team the Bills are clearly ahead of is the Patriots, which ironically is starting two former Bills “star” WRs.
  18. Weird...I think I said this when we passed on DK Metcalf to pick Cody Ford in the 2nd round.
  19. Ironically, I’ve recently been working out the keyboard intro to Bloody Well Right. It has some tricky timing that has escaped me forever, but I finally decided a couple of weeks ago to finally tackle it and practice until I have it down. I started playing it when the record came out, but only got about as far as the first 8 bars before winging it (playing it wrong). So now with the composer watching from above, I need to get it bloody well right.
  20. Statistically he was no bueno. I thought he was okay by the eye test.
  21. What I'm about to say is not intended to diminish Josh's participation on this play. It is exceptional. The first motion is often designed into the play to ID the coverage: man or zone (though some newer defensive wrinkles will move a DB with the motion and then play zone). That said, Cook's motion is all Josh.
  22. Higher taxes = Fewer Jobs Trumponomics is a wrecking ball of the economy
  23. Hard to believe he is punting all training camp etc was any different than in the game. Why wait until after week 1.
  24. Oliver causing Henry to fumble might have been the most important play in a series of plays that started the comeback. I give the defense and Oliver specifically credit for that. Hopefully they can get better as the year moves along. Have to think Beane will try to improve the defense if there is anyone he can bring here.
  25. I really just hope they don't trade him back to Kansas City
