That 55% vs the Jest represents just 26 snaps. That’s a virtual day off. Heck, he’s only seen 61 snaps in the two games combined.

WGR's Howard Picks the Bills Week by Week
machine gun kelly replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
SoCal, you know this is a reply to Howard Simon picks the Bills on WGR. Retired, but does this bit on Tuesday mornings around 8:30am. I agree we will beat the Bengals whether Burrow was playing or not. -
Part of the issue is the word "coaching" because it implies Xs and Os. I always stress on here - it's a team's overall Player Development Program, of which coaching is a part, but not the only part. There is so much that goes into teaching players how to become professionals and giving them the individual support they need in order to be great. Strength and conditioning, mechanics, other physical instruction and support are part of it - but sometimes it's even more wholistic than that. Helping them eliminate bad influences (friends and family members) who are interfering with their progress. Financial literacy. Teaching them to be good leaders and good colleagues. "Coaching" doesn't capture all of this stuff - and it varies wildly from organization to organization.

Exactly. Josh is developing the knowledge and skills that will allow him to own the offense well past his athletic prime. It is so fun to watch. BTW, Stranded in Boston, I lived there (Arlington) for five years. Boston is a super fun area. But, I just couldn't get comfortable with New Englanders and make it my home. However, I had a blast supporting the New England Free Jacks rugby team. I hope it is a more comfortable fit for you. LOL, here in Mississippi (born a country boy) works much better for me.

the last point is about as much as can be made but at the same time this is a guy who has cheated multiple times so he has shown the content of his character because he cheated in football, he cheated on his girlfriend... he's just not someone i support. great sportsball player, though.

Yeah but if Tom Brady was drafted by the Detroit Lions also not Tom Brady That's why good coaching could make somebody who's decent look good.. good look really good.. and make someone who's really good great Bad coaching will take someone who's good and make them look average There is zero world where if Tom Brady was drafted by plenty of teams he's anything close to getting developed by Bill belichick for 15 years Even Patrick mahomes is regressing right now.. just because you are really really good doesn't mean it's guaranteed forever In the NFL if you're not progressing you are regressing I have always said that.. Josh Allen's been steadily going up still to this day Patrick Mahoney's been slowly going down And Pat still has great coaching.. if Patrick mahomes got drafted by the Chicago bears he's not anything close to what he was.. not close To say situation doesn't matter is akin to saying coaches don't matter in the NFL.. players can train themselves players can coach themselves... Because nobody helps them and it's all them Kurt Warner is a Hall of famer who literally struggled for years.. when he was in the right situation he was amazing... When he wasn't it wasn't that great That could be any great quarterback... Joe burrow is going to be a footnote because the Bengals are ruining him and have ruined him... A great quarterback who in 10 years it's going to be what if he wasn't with them Because situation is everything

That is my plan! The 2nd bet I don't know if I want to add the Ty Johnson anytime TD for bigger payout, or play it a bit conservative on that one. I just gotta feeling about Ty getting in the end one, but that also could be the McDonald's I ate Third bet, odds are the same between Coleman anytime TD and Kincaid anytime TD. Leaning Coleman because the fins DBs suck

I literally spit my beverage out when I read this.

A large part of it is the longevity. M Allen played forever, especially for a RB. Seriously, solid TD production every year he was healthy for 15-16 years in the league. The guy scored 11 tds when he was 37! Just nuts. Imagine D Henry keeping it going for another 5-6 years. 🤯

The league knew he was contracted with Fox when they voted unanimously to approve his partial buy-in of the Raiders. If they didn't like it, that would probably have been the right time to do something about it.

Game week thread - Dolphins at Bills TNF
ColoradoBills replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude, my dog is in from out of town and my mother-in-law crap on the rug. -
Why don't you just bet $10 on each one..........at least one of them will pay out.

Tom making Brady haters heads explode like only he can do.

Can you do us all a favor and not post anything from this scumbag? Thanks!

Is Babbich on the hot seat now?
Buffalo Junction replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, you better get on your knees and start praying for the defense to get and stay healthy; especially Bosa, Ed, and Groot. Without those three guys performing at a high level McD or Babbich will be trying to manufacture pressure in high leverage moments. -
This is not something I care even a little bit about. If teams are concerned, they can control what information they present to him when he is in his role as a broadcaster. If they are dumb enough to give him information that would help the Raiders, that's on them.

Dems have got it going on!

This is a valid point and my concern

Tom Brady: Broadcaster vs Owner Thread
Captain Hindsight replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
I doubt he is getting much out of the production meetings. “What’s the plan this week? “ “we want to establish the run and convert 3rd downs.” The biggest advantage he has is getting to interview potential coaches or players to joining the raiders. It can be under the guise of a production meetings, but he has access to coaches and players like no other team has -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW – “How Does It Feel to Have a Quarterback?”
Shaw66 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I agree. I don't think those guys are playing because McDermott has a different philosophy. If they weren't developing through training camp, Beane would have been active picking up guys as they got cut elsewhere. They could have thrown Phillips in there Sunday, if they thought someone wasn't ready, but that didn't happen. Still, there's no question that getting the playing time is a great opportunity to continue their NFL educations. It means they should know what they're doing when the second half of the season comes around. I feel the same way about Bishop. He's not playing because of an injury, but if he weren't minimally competent he would be playing. It could have been Hamlin or even Poyer. But since he's at least decent the playing time is a great way to get him up the learning curve and ready for the second half. And it was great that Dorian Strong got the time he did against the Ravens, and now he's getting more spot time. All those guys getting playing time is good for the games to come. -
No apology needed. Maps aren't a big deal. I am glad you are doing the announcers thread, which you are doing great! You're passionate about this.

I mean you're not wrong but this is part of JA and his game, he's a gamer and is gonna play tough no matter what

Figured I'd start a thread for those of us that love to wager on the games Here's the bets I'm thinking about for Thursday vs Dolphins (gonna bet all 3) Palmer over 33.5 yards Kincaid over 30.5 yards Coleman over 41.5 yards +600. $10 pays $70 Allen over 1.5 TDs Palmer TD Palmer over 33.5 Ty Johnson over 12.5 yards rushing Allen over 234.5 yards passing +1100 $10 pays $120 If we add ty Johnson anytime TD +5000 $10 pays $510 Kincaid over 29.5 yards Cook over 11.5 receiving yards Boss over 0.5 sacks Knox anytime TD Coleman anytime TD +7500. $10 pays $760 On this one, I can change Coleman and Kincaid and the odds remain the same for anytime TD I'm debating on my second bet if I want to add that ty Johnson anytime And on the third bet, I'm debating on Coleman or Kincaid. Leaning Coleman cause the final DBs are trash 1st bet I feel really good about Thoughts? What's your bills SGP? Or what about NFL bets in general this weekend?
