I didn’t realize all these teams knew what those guys were gonna do AFTER they gave them contracts lol. What a strange way to evaluate a market. If Brandon Beane had paid Palmer $30M AAV, maybe he turns into the next JJ.

Although it's not rap, per se, I always thought that Dylan at least lent a hand in the creation of the genre with this classic tune.

“An escalade full of blacks” Ok, we’re done here 😂😂 -
Don't pay either of them. Time for Ray Davis to step up. I don't like paying running backs unless they are one of the handful of elite ones that you would really be foolish to let leave. James Cook isn't one of those guys. He is a tier below. The fact that there is a huge contingent of the fanbase that believes that PROVES he isn't one of those guys. Otherwise, we'd all be clamoring to keep him.

Many many years ago my father was on vacation in London and the older tour guide made a crack that Leicester Square had a silent "C" - just like the American rap music! 😄

Selective Justice: The Hypocrisy of MAGA

Oklahoma City Bombing. Worst domestic terrorist attack in history, 169 people killed including 19 children! January 6 tried to overthrow the constitution, wanted to kill the vp and speaker of the house. I'm sure I could list many more like Charlottesville and the Kkk. But the Reality of the situation is neither side can talk. -
You're probably thinking of Debby Harry of Blondie; it wasn't the first but it was the first to get near the top of charts. I was jamming with a bunch of older black dudes one night and one of them told me the first actual rapper was Frank Zappa

What year is this question based on, $500 in 2025, get real. -
That is really what it all comes down to for me at this point and it's sadly been both depending on the year (along with injuries of course).

Allen should be 1. I saw the 90’s teams and he would have been the best player in those teams. Bruce a close number 2. Kelly 3 perhaps. Moulds with Allen would have been something.

Bengals bungling things up - new rookie contract clause
Gugny replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll simplify it. Let’s get to a Super Bowl before we start making fun of teams that have been to a Super Bowl. In the last 5 years, let alone since the fu*king. 90s. -
Wait a minute….I think you’re onto something here.

I would agree with one exception. I can't put Lofton on this list and leave Diggs out. Both played 4 seasons for Buffalo. Statistically, Diggs absolutely destroys Lofton by the numbers. Lofton may have been the better "Bill" but Diggs stat wise was by far the better player.

My mantra in the offseason was 40 PPG offense. The team went a different direction. If it was up to me that is still what I would have tried to build. That being said on the whole I liked most of the investments they made on defense, especially early in the draft, and I'm glad we will likely find out once and for all if the talent or the coaching is the main reason we can't slow KC down in the playoffs. I understand the logic behind this offseason's strategy but I won't be convinced it will make a difference until I see it happen.

No so much. Like the Bills with Josh Allen, the Bengals struck gold by drafting the right QB. One of Joe Burrow's injuries also helped them luck into a prime draft slot, where they could draft Jamar Chase. But lucky breaks only last for so long. At some point, it comes back to the franchise making smart decisions. For a brief 1-2 season period, the Bengals did surpass the Bills as the AFC's #2 team. Hard to argue that point. But the Bengals shine at the top was very short-lived, because they have a terrible owner and crappy front office. The big difference between the Bills/Bengals is that once players started getting paid and vets started aging out, we were able to keep a competitive team together. They have not. Over the last few years, we lost Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Mitch Morse, Tre White, Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde. And we just kept right on rolling. Last season was our big test, and we passed. Our offense was better than ever. Meanwhile, the Bengals have been a downhill trajectory for the last two years. Their O-Line is really bad, and wasn't upgraded much in the offseason. Their running game hasn't been effective since Joe Mixon left. Their defense is terrible, and Trey Hendrickson is holding out. The situation with their top pick is a joke. Depth across the team isn't great either, which is why they can't seem to overcome injuries. -

The restaurant/bar I worked at in the late ‘70’s was a hopping’ Disco, lines out the door year round. Started there as a long hair dishwasher, thought this music….ugh. It all changed when I started waiting tables late night as the only male, got a haircut and, well I made a lot of money, especially ladies night. 😏
