That your point is that one idea is worse than the other idea because it is actually getting implemented in places while the other is still merely conjecture and overwhelmingly criticized was in fact missed. Apologies for that. But, again, wadr, THAT the 2nd idea has not been implemented in this country yet does NOT make it a better idea than the other one. Not sure how you're missing that point. They both are really bad ideas and are IMHO representative of the extreme ends of the authoritarianism spectrum. One designed intentionally or accidentally to increase the chaos the general citizenry has to encounter on an ordinary basis which is almost always necessarily required for a communistic revolution to eventually take hold and the other a step towards a fascist dystopia where undesirables are "humanely" permanently removed from society.

Loved Lee Smith. Fond of Quinton But i love Gilliam too. Hawes is more than either so far , and having fun already
-
Agreed. It’s ok to like Hawes (I certainly do) without dissing Knox. Yes, he had a couple of drops, but he is important to this team and offense.
-
ummm no.

Theoretically, any player is available for the right price. The first problem is: what is their price? Who you wanna ship out? The second problem is: quality LB have contracts. How we fit their contract in under our non-existant cap? I don't think we're gonna be shopping at Anthropologie or Saks 5th avenue for that quality linebacker. You prefer Dorian Williams? -

Ravens ran a 3 headed TE set a few years ago that was brutal to tackle and tough to defend with Lamar. We could have that too ! side note .. Dawson will have to accept an adjustment in pay to make that happen. Hope he does , because this could be fun

Game week thread - Dolphins at Bills TNF
technobot replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
For any other team, it's the week where the underdog comes out and plays a spirited game, maybe even steals it. The way McDaniel sounded after the last game (and yes I know he always sounds like he's... enhanced) it feels like he's lost the locker room and knows it. Plus they're battling some key injuries, we seem to have completely solved Tua, Josh owns the Phins (especially at home)... What a start if we can put this away early like the Jets and use the mini-bye to get guys healthy. We have our own key injuries and they would have come at "the right time". -
Holy crap, I'm finally coming to Buffalo! 53 years in the making
Mark Vader replied to Hellcamino's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm born and raised in California and have been a Bills fan since Jim Kelly joined the team. Zero ties to Buffalo or New York. The first time I went to Buffalo was in 2018 for the home opener against the Chargers. It was Josh Allen's first start and Vontae Davis retired at halftime. I had a blast at the Pinto Tailgate, and had a great time in general. I've made so many friends from going to many road games for the Bills, so I knew what to look for when I visited for the first time. I'll be at the Dolphins game too! Hope I see you there, somewhere. I'll be sitting in the upper bowl, but it'll be a great time. Have a great time, my friend. You won't forget it. I love your screen name. GO BILLS!!! -
I read somewhere that Kromer said he’s the best blocking tight end he’s ever worked with.
-
Mean, nasty SOB on the field who loves to take it to his opponent. Yeah, he's a football player. The more fans see of him, the more his "legend" will grow.

There is no way Knox plays here on his 2026 number. He takes a pay cut, or is cut, or signs an extension for a lower AAV than his previous deal. Depends a bit I think on where Kincaid is after this year as to what the Bills preference is. If they pick up Kincaid's option I think less likely Knox stays long term. If they don't I can see them wanting Knox under contract at least through 2027. Hawes is a good player and an excellent blocker in particular but it does make me laugh a bit that in the drought when we didn't have much at tight end most fans here HATED the very concept of a blocking tight end that was keeping whoever their favourite pet project was off the roster / field. Logan Thomas or Jason Croom or Chris Manhertz. Now when the top of that room is strong a blocking tight end is loved. Lee Smith was a really solid Bill in both spells who was undervalued by fans.

Just a note that Banged Up isn't down with the 2020 details. Milano missed 2 games with a partial pec tear, tried to come back the 3rd game with a linebacker brace, and was pretty much totes ineffective - couldn't lift his arm to tackle. At that point the Bills pulled the plug and put him on IR to let him heal for 3 weeks, then brought him back on a snap count where he was only playing 30% of the snaps initially. It's his 2nd -

It's remarkable what he does at his size from a wide-9 set. -

Okereke would be absolutely amazing. I still remember that 10-9 game against the Giants from a few years ago where Taron Johnson interfered with Waller on the last play of the game. Okereke was all over the field. Dude balls out every time I've seen him play. -

You are missing the point, maybe intentionally, one idea was thrown out flippantly on TV and few people agreed with it, the other is the policy we are currently running with in liberal cities right now. -

Bernard missed 2 games with a pec injury (partial tear) last year. He was pretty ineffective his first game back then improved (IMO looked good 4 weeks out from the injury) There was criticism of his play as not being as strong as 2023 the rest of the season, dunno if the pec was an influence. My guess more likely to be the ankle injury he suffered a few weeks later, that would slow him down and, if he was taking painkillers to deal could have slowed him mentally. Milano had a partial tear in 2020 and tried to come back after 2 games. He sucked, and was placed on IR for 3 games (could be 3 games in 2020) before being phased back in on a snap count and playing well in the playoffs. Feliciano had a bad tear requiring surgery in preseason in 2020 and missed 7 games on IR but when he came back he started and played 100% of the snaps It just depends, but it seems pretty clear you in fact don't want a guy to be out for too few games, you want to let it heal. -
He narrowly missed it by 2 points. Guessing the fumble hurt a lot.
