  1. Past hour
  2. I don't even know what this song is about but you can still feel it across 30 years.
  3. I actually enjoy a dose of the state run kool aid. Especially after a loss. When everyone else is swimming in the negativity you can count on that show for some positivity.
  4. Watson for sure. Lawrence is #2.
  5. The question isn’t “worst starting QB” it’s “worst franchise QB.” Those aren’t interchangeable. The question, as @FireChans asked it, is basically, “who is the worst QB that you’d pay franchise money to?” No one is paying AR franchise money. He might be backing up Daniel Jones.
  6. Good point WEO. A good friend of mine, Peter Landesman (shameless name-dropping) wrote and directed the CTE-related movie, Concussion. At the time, there was quite a bit of push back from The Shield, so I asked him if he thought his film would fundamentally change things. His reply, paraphrasing, "not a fu*king chance".
  7. What was the goal? That’s why it’s weirdo the Steelers were like, “we will take a CB upgrade and a TE upgrade in exchange for our 2nd best player (who is 27).” It’s weird. If you’re pushing your chips in, you deal draft picks. I don’t really understand it for Miami either. They were like, “we will trade our only outside CB and our only TE for a great safety.” It’s weird
  8. You’re mistaken if you expect more than a handful of seniors to get the reference. BTW- see if you can spot him on the Sgt Pepper album cover 😉
  9. I do approve of the bolded
  10. My wife is out now learning to play mahjong with a good friend of Celine’s tonight. Funny that this keeps coming up. My wife’s recently deceased first cousin (but more like siblings one year apart) had a production company that did a lot of events for Celine. David Foster and his wife performed at Michael’s funeral. They were very close. Now my wife and his widow are entering new chapters together with my wife retired and her widowed.
  11. I wonder how many Rs will support her https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5376782-susan-collins-amendment-tax-rate-rural-hospitals/?tbref=hp
  12. Tasker, Moorman, Christie, Bobby April
  13. This sums it up well. I might add that in my opinion Lawrence has been more manic in that his best season was better than any of Murray's and his worst season is worse than Murray's but overall I can't think of anyone year in and year out who is better at losing in November and December than Murray. Murry is 12 and 25 in November and December. If there's a chance the Cards make the playoffs they blow it down the stretch almost every year.
  14. Chris Watson if only specifically as a “punt catcher”
  15. Omar Khan is in over his head - this offseason has proved as much. Being in Pittsburgh, its crazy to see how mismanaged two of the most prestigious pro franchises have been HORRIBLY managed these past couple years (Steelers and Pens). Steeler country is in disbelief, I wouldn't be shocked to see a major change of the guard in Pittsburgh next year.
  16. I was giving him serious consideration as my 4th pick but wasn't sure if I was using some recency bias there
  17. Stocks boomin!!!! Good times are back baby!!!!!!
  18. Warwick?
  19. I agree with these choices too. I think that Steve Christie would be a pretty solid addition as well.
  20. we've been hearing about CTE being the downfall of the NFL for ages. We will be hearing that gambling will be it's downfall for ages still. There is no compelling argument that this is true. Gambling is turbocharging viewership, which is pushing broadcasting rights money almost exponentially, which pushes the cap further and further. That is only good for the NFL. This. Could have locked the thread after GunnerBill pressed "submit reply"
  21. Paul McGuire for sure Ask the old farts around here... Punter and Linebacker https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Maguire .
  22. He's still "wandering" around the Bronx at the ripe old age of 85.
  23. All those rings tho...
  24. So now it sounds like they're putting together some red, white, and Blue washing deal where Larry Ellison skims off some TikTok money in exchange for an official ownership of US operations while bytedance retains operational control
  25. Terrance McGee is the Bills’ all-time leader in kickoff returns (207), yards (5,450), and TDs (5)
