Has Josh Allen put himself back in the race for MVP this year??

I agree usually when it’s a toss up between a couple of guys, the guy who already won it is kind of punished -
Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap

Such a weird point you're making. We beat Tampa, KC, and Balt and Cook didnt do much. And you guys did the best against him in week 5, no doubt. But like, we're a dominant running team and Cook is a top 3 RB. So obviously we win a lot and we run him a lot in those wins. Really though, we're a pretty well balanced team that can rely on both Josh AND Cook to run or pass. Unlike your second half today, when you could rely on basically nothing except one missed defensive containment by the Bills. -
I don’t know where i stand with Joe Brady
JBI$111 replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's the point, he didn't, the players did and most of the touchdowns are ad hoc plays that Josh is making up on the run or when the first read is typically not there from his play call. He is very poor at scheming wide receivers open or creating effective pass plays and even though our wide receiver room is, to be kind, woeful, there's enough basic talent to have an effective passing game with Josh at quarterback. They should definitely be throwing to the running backs in the flat far more often as well, which gives Josh another outlet when the play breaks down. They are all very good at catching the ball. -

It was going to be hard enough for second year player in Maye to win award. With today’s loss I think that ends it. It is Stafford’s award to lose at this point. Allen needs to win out and put up monster stats rest of the way to have a chance but I think Stafford winning would make better NFL story and that is probably enough with Allen winning last year. -

How did you navigate your hiatus? Was it killing you? Would have been fun to have you here on election night. Anyway, keep up the good fight. You are making a difference! -

Or the Bills won because their O was slightly better than the Pats O. It's the about face of desperately trying to give Allen no credit whatsoever for the Bills won which I find odd considering you were one of his biggest cheerleaders on here when he was struggling. -
Yeah I get people thinking they could find a way to get him back out there with how things have progressed and how necessary he is for the team. But KC should do the smart thing and let it take however long it takes for him to come back healthy 100% and if that ruins your chances in 2026 then well at least that will give you more good draft picks going into 2027 when he'll be ready to go.

I thought the flee flicker was a strange first half call for a team dominating but still with a lot of football to play. That's either a late game call to rub it in their face or for a team playing from behind. -
Bosa: what Von was supposed to be
EmotionallyUnstable replied to AlCowlingsTaxiService's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ya I want to see it in the playoffs before we worry about next season for Bosa. He has all the physical tools, and he’s made some splash plays at big times. He’s also been mid and sometimes disappointing especially against the run despite always being physically dominant. He does not seem to have good instinct or awareness at times. Despite Beane and McDermotts years long crusade to bolster the defensive line, we somehow find ourselves playing a defensive tackle at DE…and next year it isn’t lining up to be any stronger with the only returning DE NOT coming off significant injury is Groot. Hoecht and Landon Jackson will both be off major ligament repairs, and Solomon isn’t trusted to even play the position he’s listed as. He’s even lost out on the NASCAR package. People laugh and roll their eyes when I say it but prepare yourselves for a round 1 DE in 2026. That all said…Bosa and Groot are going to be relied upon heavily come playoffs. I suspect when they make it there, it will be a 3 man rotation with Epi spelling the top two guys in a rotation. -

He just looks young, as he gains more experience I think he'll start learning about those got to have it moments High floor type kid -
Tre is certainly playing a lot better the last few games. Very serviceable and more. Get Benford back and Max continues to get reps and improve. Not a bad CB room. I'm concerned about T Johnson though. He's looking pretty rough.

PatsFanNH replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wasn’t saying he has stunk this year but even today.. if the Pats stopped Cook the Bills lose. This has more to do with the talent around Allen.. outside of Kincaid there isn’t a receiver that will scare a good D.. be honest the team scares me in the playoffs isn’t any division leader right now but the Texans.. that D could bring that crappy O to a SB -

Allen is the MVP. Anything less is uncivilized. -
There's not really a path that looks overly difficult. Nothing will be easy but there's not much that scares me either. If somehow we could win the division and get multiple home games, I would say it's Buffalo vs the field to represent the AFC That still feels unlikely though so hopefully we just find a way to consistently play 60 minutes

I think the Rams win the NFC. Can’t see Pack winning it, esp now.

Just win baby. Idc how it looks. I wont lie though, Im hoping they show up more in the 1st half. I'll be the first one to admit the Bills are a better second half team, but this late in the season, it would be nice to beat down an inferior opponent early and rest 17 and some more starters in the 4th qtr.
