  1. Past hour
  2. I'd rather see Cooper back. So should Beane call and apologize to the radio guys he yelled at? Seems they were right about WR.
  3. This show finally has some meat on it's bones. Too bad we're on episode 3 of 5..
  4. Ed Oliver was a lot better at remembering his horses' names than Antonio Cromartie was with his children's.
  5. McD set the tone with a great speech, and made it clear what he wants to start seeing (less complacent attitudes, more intensity/emotion). Babich, Brady, and rest of staff echoed the need for that intensity level to rise. A complete embarrassment might be what we need in the locker room. We need our leaders to step up inside the locker room and raise the bar/set expectations from here on out. We have "alpha" mentality guys that will naturally start to become more dialed in, as week 1 approaches. They have to get that "chip" on their shoulder heading into a physical week 1 against the Ravens.
  6. Didn't Beane and McDermott realize that players on defense DO get injured? Seems stupid that quality back ups weren't drafted years ago for Poyer and Hyde. Even for Milano. Somebody bring us up to speed on this. Counting on players to stay healthy is negligent.
  7. Joe Marino had some good things to say about him … take that for what it’s worth
  8. There’s a reason this guy can’t stick on a roster, but hey, we’ll keep trying to make these fringe players “the best version of themselves” … just spitballing here, but maybe they’re not that good
  9. Apparently Milano does too?
  10. No way is it the most important, that's just a load of crap. Coach said it was one of thr most difficult positions to learn, not too long ago. That trio of Mike, Will and Nickle is the most important on this defense. Clearly trench play dictates on both sides of the ball, but one constant in a very good McD defense is that "middle layer". We put A LOT on the plate of Milano, Taron and TB. Bishop has to stay healthy from here on out. But he and Rapp are more than capable combo, with the rest of pieces surrounding them.
  11. I was hoping to see some of the post game meeting. Still a great watch though. Seeing Tre wring the sweat from his socks was crazy.
  12. I’ll watch eventually, but aside from it featuring the Bills, it’s weak. The best part about previous seasons is the tension and drama of rookies fighting to make the team and the elation or disappointment when they succeed or fail. McDermott not allowing cameras in his office puts an end to that, and it’s nowhere near as interesting to me.
  13. Prob the best episode so far - too bad they sh!t the bed so bad in the game - just having some footage of even being competitive would have made it much better
  14. Agree... I want to see what they show of the fallout of the egg they laid next week
  15. I'm so glad I wasn't eating or drinking anything when Tre squeezed his socks
  16. Easily the episode of the 3 so far
  17. he got hurt 10 minutes into taking the field
  18. HE GONE NEXT WEEK IN FIRST ROUND OF CUTS
  19. Beane's talent evaluation, on the defensive side of the ball, is just not good. Off the top of my head, he hit the mark on getting Josh Alien, James Cook, and trading for Stefon Diggs. And amazingly, built up a good o-line.
  20. all of those kids from when we were growing up have their own anti-bills kids now.
  21. Wow. . . . . . . . . . . . . . these democrats. Texas Democrats Are Holding a Sleepover Now John Sexton As expected, Texas Democrats returned home Monday, setting up the state to pass a redistricting plan that could result in several more GOP controlled seats after next year's election. Republicans promised to impose $7,000 in fines on each Democrat who fled ($500 per day) and also to bill them for the money spent trying to track them down. But Republicans also put in place one additional penalty. No Democrat would be allowed to leave the State House unless accompanied by a member of the Texas Department of Public Safety. The idea was to keep them from running away again. Most of the Democrats agreed and left with their assigned member of DPS but one Democrat decided it was time for another headline-grabbing stunt. State Rep. Nicole Collier of Fort Worth said in an interview Tuesday she would sleep on the House floor until Labor Day if she had to. Since Monday, Collier has entered a new existence, eating, sleeping and working from the locked chamber after refusing to acquiesce to Republican demands that Democrats agree to around-the-clock security escorts in order to be released from the building...
  22. Nice job of stating that peace talks are less important to you than scoring political points.
  23. He was waived/injured. So it seems pretty likely he got injured and knew he was likely to be waived/injured. He'll likely go unclaimed and be brought back on IR, possibly get an injury settlement, but it's a huge barrier to him making a team this year
  24. Social Security might be just fine if the parties can agree on this https://www.investopedia.com/two-senators-have-a-new-proposal-to-fix-social-security-11768951 I can understand your apprehension however, if you're paying in and they don't find a fix. This seems a good idea.
  25. By its very nature, really bad safety play is gonna result in longer and longer plays. I think the difference between very good and bad safety play is not as important as many other defensive positions. But horrendous safety play will actually kill you
