Im so glad the president is wasting his time trying to “own the libs.” Very mature of him.

Surely you have better things to do with your time. I admit, you are very good at deflecting from the actual topic at hand.

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
BADOLBILZ replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
It matters because when put in context.........they scored the 33rd all-time most points per game in the 5th highest scoring year ever........what that tells you is that it was NOT a historic offensive season. Not even the Bills best offense ever when you consider the point differential versus league average. That was the 1975 Bills. Your point about the Bills scoring the most points in the AFC playoffs doesn't account for the fact that they were the only team that played 3 games. I mean you can't even pick a lane. And after insisting your stats....err "facts".......were definitive proof that poor defense deserves all the blame for the team not advancing to a SB then you suddenly are asking for subjectivity on your facts. 😂 -
GOODER AND HARDER, CALIFORNIA: CA gas could hit $8.44 per gallon in 2026 due to refinery closures, regulations. The new study from University of Southern California professor Michael A. Mische examined California’s historical gas prices, oil supply and refining capacity, and modeled the likely impact of refinery closures and costly new fossil fuel and refinery fees and regulations. “The shutdown of the two California-based refineries could possibly place the Golden State in a precarious economic situation and create a gasoline deficit potentially ranging from 6.6 million to 13.1 million gallons a day, as defined by the shortfall between consumption and production,” wrote Mische. “Reductions in fuel supplies of this magnitude will resonate throughout multiple supply chains affecting production, costs, and prices across many industries such as air travel, food delivery, agricultural production, manufacturing, electrical power generation, distribution, groceries and healthcare.” Mische said the high delta between California gas prices and that of other states is the result of state taxes and fees, and policies that have reduced in-state oil production and refining capacity faster than gasoline demand has fallen. https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/ca-gas-could-hit-844-gallon-2026-due-refinery-closures-regulations?

Would Alberta be a red state? Dems are in a tough spot come 2030 with reapportionment as is.. why would they let this happen?

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
BADOLBILZ replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shame on you @Mikey152 for fake-claiming a lie from Kirby. Brandon Beane himself has literally bragged about scoring 7 more points per game with Cooper as a defense for trading the 3rd round pick. -
No kidding. My handle is southern man. The Ga Bulldogs are top dogs over Falcons or any other team here.

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
L Ron Burgundy replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I dont know why but I want Deone to make it more than anyone else. Always loved giant, game-wrecking DTs like Wilfork and Washington. I know his chances aren't great, his build isn't ideal, back problems for a big guy are a bad sign. But this monster becoming a force could change our defensive identity. -
Shedur Sanders Make To Round 5? (Poll) - UPDATED x 3
PetermansRedemption replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
Problem is, who else are you cutting? The QB you drafted in round 3? If not, you are down to Flacco who may win the QB comp, and Pickett, who you just gave up compensation for, coincidentally a 5th rounder. Either way they end up cutting a 5th rounder. Just remains to be seen if it’s Pickett or Sanders. No one ever accused the Browns of being a well run organization. -

I think this is THE most concise summary of why we haven’t won a SB with Allen. Thanks -
Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
Alphadawg7 replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Except its not...and who cares, this is a subjective opinion. The point was, remains, and still is what I already said. Bills scored the most points in the AFC both in regular season and the post season...yet we did NOT emerge from the AFC. Meanwhile...we did give up 32 points to a team that did not score 30 the entire year and was down 34-0 at one point in their very next game. But please...lets keep carrying on splitting hairs about where the 16th highest scoring offense in NFL history subjectively falls on the all time greatest list as if that matters at all in relation the original point. -

BADOLBILZ replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
You said one thing.........said that you said another thing altogether because it didn't track........and now you are trying to meld them together in a form that doesn't account for the difference in games played in the last 4 seasons compared to the 16 and 14 game seasons post merger. It's comically shystie and further undermines your greatly exaggerated takes. 3 of the top 5 scoring seasons(per game) since the merger have been since 2020. The Bills have ranked very near the top in scoring in 2 of those years. They had a great 8 game run. If they hadn't struggled in Baltimore, Houston and NY because of bad WR play they might have been closer to the Lions. And those defense's weren't even playing that well at the time. Baltimore was near the bottom in pass defense at the time. Receiving talent on offense and pass rushers on defense have been the biggest shortcomings. It's just funny that when the defense was at the top of the league they were throwing the kitchen sink at pass rush but when the offense has the same issue.........high rank but a clear weakness........they aren't doing the same. -
Totally get your point of view wrt cloying annoying/twang. For me it was intentionally camp and a fun contribution to the early years of MTV.

Awesome stuff!

I did say aloud "I better not hear Landon Jackson here" just because I knew they met with him a ton, fit a need, and had Bills DNA written all over him. When we did Draft him in the 3rd, I was happy we got him there. But I thought he was in play at 30 based on Mocks and that would have ruined the night for me. Sanders wasn't even a thought at 30. I don't know how i'd have reacted.

If Alberta votes to join the US, I think it will happen, but the vote is not something I expect to go that way.

The Dan Patrick show on espn radio I think used to have the callers announce height and weight at the beginning of their call with a “ding”!

This board would still be in mourning.

I disagree . I don't think it was planned at all. Beane was really yanked at the WGR criticism and the accusation that he doesn't value WRs. He defended drafting defense because that is the side of the ball that has failed miserably in the playoffs. Plus the value in this draft was clearly on the defensive side of the ball. I think the reason they led with the media criticism in the Embedded piece was that the National media overwhelmingly agreed with Beane and felt the push back against WGR was justified. They showed the ESPN, NFL, et al takes. It was only members of the local media that were critical of Beane. Plus, since the piece dealt with the draft, it was the perfect lead in.

Doc Brown replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's like saying Eric Dickerson's 2,105 yard season in 16 games was more impressive than OJ Simpson's 2,003 yard season in 14 games.
