Why? If someone had a "larger concussion" it would likely be obvious on the field and on the sideline. In this instance, if in fact Higgins actually had a concussion but was still able to pass his sideline evaluation, it would suggest it was probably a minor one. If it was minor enough that he wasn't showing obvious symptoms of it immediately afterwards on the sideline, by the time they got him into the locker room he certainly wouldn't be showing symptoms of it.

What struck me today, with what Allen did on that TD run was just tell the entire team, coaching staff, and organization, no matter how much you **** things over, I and I alone am enough to win games. This is something that in watching this league for > 50 years, I'm pretty sure I've never seen any player do the things Allen is doing right now. It's a damning indictment that this man doesn't have multiple championships. You have the most dynamic offensive weapon in the history of the game and you saddle him with an offense that minimizes his impact and shortens games and a defense that is empirically trash. If this man doesn't get a championship, this year or next, this whole organization should be fumigated.

Looking for insights on the differences between our 1st Half and 2nd Half Defense. What adjustments were made? Did the Bengals end up going cold after being so dominant the first half? I am asking to learn, but I am also afraid of this type of game in the playoffs. The type of game where the Bills offense puts up 30+; however, the defense gives up 30+, and we don't get the heroic plays like we did with Benford and Epenesa at the end of the game. As much as we want a #1 receiver and less Mesh concepts on offense, our defense is probably more important heading into and through a playoff run. What made the 2nd Half defense above average?
