Here is a good description of the impact of the Trump tax on an American company. This is just one example that you can multiply by thousands of impacts on similar businesses. Either the Chinese companies will sell product since they will be able to undercut American business on price or Chinese manufacturers will end up buying out the American brands as they sink in the Trump economy. Then China will own the brand and the manufacturing.

I don’t have anything against Kincaid, I just always saw him effectively as a WR, not a TE. He doesn’t have the build and he is not a good blocker so, yeah, WR. More specifically he is a Slot WR and we seem to have a glut at SWR so I could see him getting moved too. Kinda tough to see the Bills giving him a second contract as it stands so they may as well get something in trade next offseason. That all assumes that he doesn’t light it up this season, but it’s tough to see that happening with so many to spread targets to. We will have to wait and see.

Yea that turnover differential really masked a lot of problems. In the Bills Ravens game pre game thread I did a preview of the game. My conclusion was that the Ravens were going to be a really difficult game to win because they were better on offense and defense. The one area that we had a stark advantage was we created a lot of turnovers and the Ravens didn’t and gave up a good amount of turnovers. Voila we won because of timely turnovers. We are always a good turnover team under McDermott but we won’t be as good as 2024 in 2025. Hopefully we added enough talent this off-season to balance that the likely regression to the mean.

If you put "most points scored by a nfl team in a season" and then click on ppg tab you'll get the Bills at #22 because they simply rearrange the teams on that page. That number is wrong. If you put in "highest ppg in a single season nfl" then the Bills aren't in the top 25 so I have no clue where they rank. We're not the 16th best offense of all time. We were 10th in yards. We had the best starting field position in the NFL this year and were #3 in red zone offense so it makes sense that we finished 2nd in the league in ppg.

i read several places that of Alberta voted to join the US that the Canadian SC has already stated they would have to be released, but the mechanism is not well described in the articles. Is this at all accurate or would the Canadian govt tell them no?

This makes me feel more confident in my theory that the whole thing was somewhat of a planned stunt. I don't think Beane goes off like that unless he gets the okay from Pegula. Totally agree. They got the players they wanted, and were in lock step, especially with the first 5 picks. Even when they pivoted to offense, they got good value.

Geezus...this kid learned nothing. I mean I am sure he ordered this before his draft fall given it took time to make...but after all that has transpired from draft night, the hit his rep has taken, the embarrassment of his draft party room, etc you would think common sense would kick in and not put this on social media. Personally, if he can focus on just football I think he will win the starting job. But this kid sure is making it look more and more like he just doesn't get it. He is a 5th round pick, his roster spot is not even assured at this point. The footage of the Browns War room showed no excitement, almost a somber like atmosphere when they cut to it when they picked him.

They've had 2 great scoring seasons and 2 great points allowed seasons since 2020. They simply haven't been good enough on either side of the ball when it counts.

Beane and co had a plan and executed it. They knew where players would be drafted and what they wanted or could get get. Really impressive also, I love the players reactions to getting drafted. maxwells choked up ‘I am’ gets me choked up
