  1. Past hour
  2. Okay, maybe I’m a little sensitive because I feel like we got at least one dude In Bosa.
  3. That was a bit of an issue today, but that's the first time since Sean took over playcalling. They have been a LOT better on 3rd down against the Panthers, Chiefs and Dolphins. It's been down like 20 percentage points.
  4. One guy who doesn’t deserve a game ball is Samuel. Yes he made the catch that was didn’t need to be so hard but what was he doing on the deep out? Just turn the jets on and blow past the LBer. He kept jogging and looking back at Josh the whole time and Josh “overthrows” him because of it. I’d be putting Moore in over Samuel. I don’t understand why he’s activated
  5. Footnote was a poor choice of a word. It was too diminishing. Lots of room for debate. My son is big on James Brown. Guessing that’s why he bought that damn 2 ton Hammond organ, as I know Brown was big on them.
  6. Our defense wouldn’t look as bad if we could get off the field on 3rd down.
  7. I think the guy Fox they signed this week has a little 55 in him. But at the end of the day I just want the defense fixed. Replacing a strange 1 off skill set can’t make or break you. Get the guys off the field that have been killing us. Get out of the constant nickel and come off the zone. The rest of the league knows exactly what we are going to do. Change that
  8. And I think here "break" was being used to mean like "complete" break, whereas fracture was suggesting something more like a crack that doesn't go all the way through. I think. (Like a "hairline" fracture, or "stress" fracture, maybe?) Then again, "compound" fractures are definitely a thing and those go ALL THE WAY THROUGH, and out, yikes.
  9. probably those pesky russians
  10. They're usually good at End with troubles on the inside, but today all 4 positions really struggled. They should have plenty of gas in the tank for Thursday
  11. Mike McDaniels still trolling Bills fans
  12. Yup, Hurts is terrible but the OC calls the right plays at the right time and it works for them.
  13. I don't know how they improve the defense to get where it needs to be. The defensive playcalling is much better since Sean took it back off Babich who was way over his head. They 3rd down defense has got better (though Tampa did well today) and the incidents of guys not knowing the playcall are reducing. They were the two things I thought McDermott could fix and has. But we are where we are right now in terms of talent and run defense has been an issue on and off throughout McDermott's time here. In the past they have gone and found the fattest old man off the NFL street to bring in as a stop gap measure.... Corey Liguet or Linval Joseph etc... I don't know if there is anyone who fits that bill out there but if they are we need to get them on the phone. As I've said elsewhere I am ready to see a wholesale change of the 2nd level to Shaq (when healthy), Williams and Cam because Bernard, Milano and Taron are all playing really really poorly at the moment. But I don't know how realistic it is to expect that to be transformational. I do think the secondary has been playing better. Benford has rounded into a bit of form, Hairston getting some run has helped and Bishop has taken off since Poyer came in alongside him. Poyer himself looks every day of his 34 and a half years old when he has to play in space but I get the sense his leadership is helping and we might just have to suffer his lack of athleticism at this stage. But in terms of being able to win a Superbowl? They are going to have to win shootouts IMO. And I don't know how manageable that is.
  14. I don't think anything has changed. Josh can be superhuman and the run defense is a major liability, but we all knew this already. It's exciting to win games like this but stringing 4 of them together against playoff teams is going to take a tremendous amount of luck.
  15. I was going to say the same thing... This game is boring I liked the Packers Eagles 10-7 game on mnf because of the great defensive play. This one is sloppy play by the Lions and terrible game management
  16. Right now, that looks most likely.
  17. Exactly. Davis looked fresh and focused today. He is a pro. We need him on the field every week. He is only going to get better the more he plays coming off the knee injury. And how about a shout out to Shavers?! He made some real good plays today. He is everything Keon is not. Get him snaps too. As for Coleman, how did the Bills miss so badly scouting this kid both in his physical ability to play NFL receiver and his maturity level to act like an adult as a professional athlete? Thats really unacceptable in today’s day and age to miss that badly on a high pick. it’s the same w Kair Elam talent wise. You just can’t have that bad a misses on your top picks as often as the Bills have.
  18. I'm pretty sure medically they are all fractures.. break is not a medical term doctors use There are multiple different types of fractures Pretty sure medically they don't use the word break It's all fractures.. could be a compound fracture, a closed fracture, a stress fracture, or comminuted fracture Average Joe's use the word break... But medical people always use the word fracture
  19. Yeah I think the Jaguars are getting in. It'll come down to KC or the Chargers I could see Week 17 being Denver backups vs Chargers starters with an LA win and in or LA lose and KC in scenario
  20. This would absolutely be the best option, but it's also November and you can't beat him to a pulp 2 months before the playoffs even start. There almost is, but I think the case for Shaq, Bernard and Cam negates it. I've always been a Taron fanboy but Lewis is a more dynamic defender now so I'm sort of OK with that switch. But even right now, 85% of Bernard is a better option than Williams. And if he continues to get better (which he has been) the case becomes even stronger. He's about the third/fourth level of the trickle down problem caused by Oliver's injury. It murders us at every level of our rotation.
  21. Really hope Coleman isn’t active again. In theory his punishment could be one game if they were serious about it just being for disciplinary reasons.
  22. I would think that drones are used for this kind of photography/video nowadays.
  23. I just said he looked really bad in the 1st half, losing contain on several big plays that specifically took advantage of him, while also only recording 1 tackle all game (no other stats). Nothing there to "buy" tbh. Just kinda what it was today. I still need to dive in on the 2nd half, but it's super doubtful he's gonna show up positively, given the utter lack of registered statistics. It's not a crusade. It's just what today was for him. I didn't mention Rousseau, who is in my opinion an underwhelming, complimentary edge player.
  24. Two things can be true. 1. Bosa has been pretty good this year 2. He had a a bad game. He lost contain on a ton of runs and didn't have much pass rush at all today
