  1. Past hour
  2. NFL Doctor’s Manual says “look for circling stars”….doctor did not see the stars, so send him back out there.
  3. better than early in the season at least
  4. Come on. It's not the team's blunder and the guy is hurt. Is this really what we're doing here?
  5. So we can quietly get better?
  6. Notre Dame pouting is funny as *****...
  7. Kid is talented, but not talented enough to add him to the mix. Try to trade for Adonai Mitchell this off-season and draft 2 WRs in the draft.
  8. DeMeco Ryan's defense forced an immediate 3 and out on the Chiefs opening possession, and Spag's D forced the Texans to punt after 7 plays on their opening possession. Somehow both those D Coaches were able to come in with enough data gathered ahead of time to be aggressive and force punts. Something, something, hard to win in the NFL, bend but dont break...
  9. Fair enough. I do not watch tape on Burrow as I have with Allen. That play Burrow does seem to force it, I agree. But based on casual observation from yesterday Burrow seemed to be playing patiently and consistently taking what the defense was giving him. Obviously he makes mistakes too-- like both pics where he did not have a good grip on the Benford pic, and threw it right at Phillips on the Epenesa pic. I don't think Allen's low air yards per attempt is strictly a function of his taking what is given. For a variety of reasons-- average receivers and a desire to control clock-- the Bills have largely abandoned throws that travel 15 air yards or more. But watching tape, there are many times where Allen attempts a big play that is not there, instead of taking what is given. Sometimes it works-- the pass to Shavers against TB-- but sometimes it leads to a 4th down or a turnover. I am not bashing Josh at all, I would not trade him for any QB out there. But when he stays within the design of plays and is patient, then sprinkles in his amazing off-schedule plays, he is his most lethal. And as I wrote before, I do not care for Burrow, but I was simply giving him props because he is one of the best QBs outside of Allen.
  10. Yep I did, I think Houston had 5 plays their opening drive? Pretty hard to judge from that. I would almost guarantee that Spags would send pressure if there was a big 3rd down on the plus side of the field on that opening drive
  11. 😆 Couldn't squeeze this take into one of the 11 existing "we're so insecure we obsess over trans people" circlejerks?
  12. Matt, Billieve. I have been just as frustrated with some aspects. I also see some of these players as warriors, like Josh. Many will step up. What is the recourse, to just say whoa is us. That’s not me or probably you. Screw that. They hit you, hit them HARDER! More people than not, don’t have a loser attitude. Winners eat it, and fight harder, smarter, and move up or around. For example we didn’t have a pass rush so our coverage team really stepped up. Just look what Epenesa and Benford did yesterday. They didn’t take defeat for an answer. There is plenty of time to be upset or surrender in February. It’s the 7th inning stretch. It’s not even close to bottom of the 9th.
  13. I hate saying it, but Tre was getting owned by a concussed Higgins.
  14. Looks like I didn’t comment at the time when they signed Poyer … probably just as well as it wouldn’t have been complimentary..,, Has been way better than I thought he would he … and they have needed him this season … I’ve always liked Jordan Phillips to be honest … I was happy to have him back again … Shaq Lawson not so much but they are desperate there
  15. The Pats* have a lot of injuries. Not as many as the Bills, but they'll be missing Stevenson, Ellis, Boutte, Milton Williams, Campbell, and possibly Gonzalez, according to Google. Anyone have a more reliable source? The sad thing is that it doesn't matter that they're missing their left tackle and best cornerback since we're missing Bosa and have no wide receivers worthy of the name. I'm glad not to face Milton Williams, though.
  16. this post is a disaster however...actually no, it's just a disaster.
  17. A few years back we went from dead in the water into the 2nd Seed. I refuse to bury KC until they are well and truly dead.
  18. SMH this makes the NFL look like fools and discredits the league being serious about players health. we saw what we saw but they didn't? what a crock. NFL this is a sad Look for you today
  19. I know the receivers are an issue, however the last two games have been challenging to measure them as a unit. 1) Wind last week was a major issue, neither team threw the ball downfield much at all 2) Cooks is slowly being worked in, last week he only played a few snaps 3) Run heavy schemes bring in Shavers/Davis/TEs, which will adjust how the passing game is driven I will say, Cooks is getting open. There were several times where he was putting his hand up with some sort of separation, but he was downfield and that's a challenging throw given the weather.
  20. And looking at this problem in practice, what does anyone expect the Patriots are going to scheme up on defense next Sunday? Everyone here can figure it out. They're going to look to take away the run by bringing the safeties down into the box and play press man coverage on the receivers. Brady better have his thinking cap on this week designing and developing a game plan to address what should be absolutely no surprise. If its me I would dial up a play action deep pass to Cooks on the first play of the game to let them know I'm ready. On the lighter side, the Bills will have a total of 6 timeouts. How many will McDermott call on defense after seeing how the offense lines up on some play? And will wasting these time outs ever work or will the opponent continue to always get a first down?
  21. Did you watch last nights game? Rushed 4 dropped 7 the whole first drive. This happens more than you'd think.
  22. Remember when the infected were upset about an alleged $40K?
