  1. Past hour
  2. No, that's not all. Your SS benefit will not be "fully" taxed under current law. Only up to 85%.
  3. Hating on Poyer as a Bills fan might be one of the lamest things you can do.
  4. I don't think Tomlin is a bad coach nor has the game passed him by. I think the Steelers have just not had a viable QB since Big Ben. The Steelers 6 Super Bowls all came under two QB's Terry in the 70's and Big Ben. They aren't immune to needing a QB. They took one swing in round 1 with Pickett and that was a flop and then they tried to revive Fields with Russ as the backup vet and that wasn't that much better. Now they seem to be completely directionless at QB somehow even worse off than they were. I think the Steelers organization has been passed by a bit as they have this instance on not "tanking" which while admirable they have to realize this era of the NFL is insanely QB dependent. And while you don't have to tank to get a QB you also should have a coherent plan at QB. If you don't like this years QB draft than maybe off load some vets for picks in next years draft and if it means you have a losing season then that's fine you win 6-7 games and you developed a lot of younger guys on your roster and you have 2-3 extra picks in the top 100 to work with to make a trade up for a QB which is less costly to do it you are drafting in the top 10 instead of in the late teens. But Tomlin is still able to get his team to 9 wins despite some issues at QB so they never are in a position to land a top QB and their prudence makes them reluctant to take a swing at getting into the top picks for a QB by trading away a lot of future selections. I think Tomlin is the most modern aspect of their organization but he's also contributing to their QB issues.
  5. While understanding current animosity towards him, Poyer was an excellent Safety for the Bills and deserves to be respected and remembered as such. I would happily see him get the 1 day contract and retire from Buffalo.
  6. I think it is a little bit of a Josh Allen/Sean McDermott vs the ghost of Brady/Belicheck kind of thing. If we swapped situations with any of the other 3 AFCE teams I think you'd get a similar "rivalry".
  7. Oh my god no. The only contract he should sign is a ceremonial, 1-day contract to retire as a Bill. Nothing that actually counts against the cap. Might as well just flush that money down the toilet otherwise.
  8. "I don't know why but I think this is the year, weird strong feeling going on".....says every die-hard Bills' fan every Spring since the 60's. 🙂 side note, re: your handle My friend, ex-Buffalo guy, now in Texas, is craving a signature Buffalo -style Royalé sub. I'll see him in the 716 in a couple of months and there's a good possibility we'll be getting sick on all our favorite Buffalo treats, include the Royalé, made with Costanza sub rolls, Italian sausage, and Gabagool.
  9. The guy seems to trying to get the Bills to take him back for one last lap. I can't blame him. Our safety situation isn't awesome. I would lose approximately zero sleep on a one year vet minimum or late season injury/depth signing.
  10. Nice tracker of Bills schedule leaks. Dolphins at Bills Wk. 3 Thursday Night on Amazon Prime a real possibility. https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2025/05/12/buffalo-bills-schedule-leaks-2025-rumors-live-tracker/83531204007/
  11. I was like, who dat. Don't remember drafting him. But I see he was a udfa. I see an udfa as a long shot to make the PS.
  12. That stinks. Hope he has a speedy recovery.
  13. Wonder if Rose bet on when his 44 game hitting streak would end?
  14. so you approve of the current GOP plan that will add trillions to the national debt?
  15. Sweet. I thought ATL made sense for MNF
  16. I met my first wife and my second improved wife at work. I'll admit that they were both kind of out of my league. I don't know if they would've responded to me at all on match or whatever. But I guess I was quite irresistible in person. JD Hill Fan thinks it must be my wit. It does bother me that dating at work is kind of a minefield now. Do we really want to drive all human relationships into an artificial transactional app?
  17. That was in his college scouting report but hasn't been true in the pros IMO.
  18. Very concerning post here.. So you think the Bills, with one of the most talentless neglected offenses in the league (don't believe this?--just pick a post draft thread and read it through...), maybe in the history of the league... ...and with an awful draft, almost completely ignoring the team's biggest need, a high round wideout, so a draft that will clearly not move the needle for the Bills at all this year... ...will lead to a Super Bowl win!?!? You are just mocking the bashers with a thread like this. Unacceptable. (That being said, and clearly with just hope against hope to support myself, nothing real, I also believe what you say in bold above.)
  19. As to your point about male embrace of femininity… I don’t say this because I’m conservative, I say this because of experience… Women, especially liberal women, lie about this. They, by nature, are empathetic. Men are typically not and they do not want us to be, regardless of what they say. I just met the first woman I’ve ever been attracted to that’s “Never Trump” in dating. She thinks he’s evil and cruel and any man who voted for him is a deal breaker. She was attractive, extremely assertive, but wanting masculinity in most areas and had an extreme level of seething resentment towards most men, to the point she wants to hurt them emotionally. NOT the type for any man to be feminine around. But she’s the type who claims to want that. Once she asked and I told her I voted for Trump, she got upset, sent me 10 paragraphs of nonsense and we went our separate ways. She complained that she only ever matches with guys like me. Yea… seems to be a typical problem for liberal women. The all too familiar refrain of “I want a tall, fit, masculine, successful man .. but he needs to embody my leftist views”. That doesn’t really exist, and heaven help the guy who tries to be what women like that claim to want. For the record.. I have zero issue with women who are successful/career driven. It’s not my preference, but it’s not a deal breaker. I’m conservative but don’t espouse hardline trad views in dating. I can see how that would turn women off, especially ones who have worked hard. But it’s never about that. It’s on a more primal arena. The sexes haven’t changed on a chemical level.
  20. I was promised NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY. My social security benefits will be FULLY TAXED. That's all.
  21. Thats awful. Hate hearing about injuries, especially offseason training injuries.
  22. From AI... Athletic Profile Height/Weight: 5'11", 210–212 lbs. Noted for his athleticism, Owens posted a 9.59 Relative Athletic Score (RAS) out of 10, ranking 51st out of 1,207 free safeties from 1987–2025. Pro Day highlights: 4.58-second 40-yard dash, 4.05-second short shuttle, 43-inch vertical, 11-foot-3 broad jump. Wande Owens is regarded as a high-character, high-effort player whose leadership and on-field production have made him a standout at both the Ivy League and FCS levels. The Buffalo Bills are acquiring a versatile defender with proven ability and strong intangibles.
  23. What an experience for a young kid. You were very fortunate.
  24. Injuries are the worst part of football (any sport really) Ravens fans seem to be very upset about this as they think very highly of him. Sad to see this happen in the off-season. I always wonder are Achilles tears like this are just "freak" occurrences or is this something that was kind of just bound to happen due to wear and tear?
