  1. Past hour
  2. Reasons for optimism: Allen, all three running backs, Cooks, Hawkes, offensive line, McDermott taking over as defensive coordinator, overall veteran moxie, Benford, Bosa, Hawkes, Gilman. Reasons for pessimism: Milano, Poyer, Bernard, Brady, Coleman, another six Kincaid injuries forthcoming, decline/misuse of Shakir, Brady. (Did I mention Brady?)
  3. 1st, 1st, 4th, Coleman if they want him
  4. I´m not a hater, I like McD but I do agree that his philosophy has prevented us to get a ring by now. I don´t undertand how a defensive head coach has fail to have a top defense and I also don´t like his stile of play not to lose. So I´ll be super happy, but I wanted Ben Johnson and still think we need that kind of coach while we have Josh Allen.
  5. Daboll used to subtly talk about this aspect of Josh. Early in games he could tell whether or not Josh was in a rhythm as a passer -- and if he wasn't he would start calling his number in the rushing game. At the time, I thought these comments had more to do with Josh's efficiency as a passer (especially in his early/developmental years) and that moving to utilizing him in the run game was the best way to maximize his physical gifts when the passing game wasn't working. More and more, I suspect that getting him involved in the running game was a way to get him more dialed into the game-plan -- and get his adrenaline going. Hopefully, Brady takes note.
  6. It was the greatest route ever ran and I expect it to be the video that propels him to the Hall of Fame.
  7. Yes, they can and I expect them to as well--- BUT only if McDermott does what he likely did this past week, after another dismal defensive performance in the first half last week. That it, take complete control, including all practices, of the defense from here on out. With Babbich reduced to only a second hand assistant, if that. Each time the Bills get stomped on by an offense, each time they beat the tar of the Bills' defense, it seems McD takes over the show and they then have games in which they look like a top defense, as opposed to a disorganized, unprepared joke, capable of making average QBs and running backs look like Hall of Famers. Babbich is gone for sure after this year, so why prolong the Bills agony any longer--and risk losing even more games because of his incompetence? Time to cut bait with this guy, and give the Bills the chance to save their season.
  8. I will hug him and kiss him and name him George
  9. Its mainly #2 for me,BUT... I will most definitely eat a plate of Crow and be forever appreciative of him coaching us to a superbowl win. So a mix of 1 & 2 for me,because it can be both.
  10. Buy a pair of these and proudly wear them for the next 10 seasons
  11. Allen has been haunting Ramsey’s dreams ever since he made those ridiculous comments. can’t believe that Jax game was 7 years ago. I remember being so pumped after he gave Allen perfect bulletin board material
  12. We did see Johnathan Taylor with a meh qb on their side and 0 WRs on our side last year and did a pretty decent job against them to be fair it was post Amari cooper trade but Amari was out
  13. I’ll be keeping an eye on Tee Higgins and whether he plays this week. I’d say they wouldn’t risk bringing him back but they are only two games back in the AFC North. I expect him to play but still worth watching
  14. What will Sean haters do if the Bills win the Super Bowl?
  15. You know,if we could upgrade our S&T program, something that plagues our Bills as well, and teach our OL yo run block.... OU would be "back" so to speak. As is, Venables taking over playcalling in D has made all the difference
  16. No, their defense was just as dreadful against Baltimore. Derrick Henry averaged 6 yards per carry. Their backup RB (Mitchell) averaged 9.5 yards per carry. As an offense, Baltimore averaged over 6 yards per play (compared to Cinci’s 4.8 yards per play). The reason Cinci’s defense “held” Baltimore is because Baltimore fumbled FOUR (4) times and had an INT. Five (5) turnovers will doom any offense. 3 of those turnovers happened on Cinci’s end of the field (aka Baltimore was close to scoring), and one of them was a Baltimore TD but the play was overturned after replay showed that the Baltimore player fumbled through the endzone as he was crossing the goal line, so it turned into a touchback. And prior to the Ravens game where they were helped by 5 turnovers, their defense gave up 26 to NE the previous week, and 34 to Pitt the week before that. If we don’t run all over that defense, it’s 100% on us. Now, whether our defense can stop them is a whole different story.
  17. WR1 in blocking that is. I think Shavers lead in WR snaps because he was the lead blocker in that outside run Brady was spamming all game, and one of the only WRs in that formation.
  18. I will pile on to this thought. I think Kromer is excellent! An unsung hero if you will. A strength of this Bills team is the OLine, and they are not a bunch of 1st round picks he is working with. I hope his voice influences Brady even more in the future game planning.
  19. Shavers blocks very well. He freed up #4Cook a number of times, especially on the long one to the 5 of Pitt.
  20. Snap counts don't mean much about the WR depth chart. Shavers, like Coleman, has size, so he gets more snaps as a run blocker. Same with Gabe Davis.
  21. no, the number that matters is the actual number. ie the most ever.
  22. There is a stats professor Massey who rates all the teams and their win probabilities. He has the Bills at 77% vs. Cinci; 57%@NE; 80%@ Cleve; 62% Eagles; 85% Jests, cross multiply and you get 18% probability of running the table. He also has the Pats losing to Bills and Ravens, so we get into tie breakers.
  23. True, but in a cost saving measure, Mike Brown is renting school buses rather than chartering a flight, and he's charging premium rates for in trip snacks and juice boxes. The man really knows how to beat down morale...but save a buck.
  24. You must have missed when I stated blanket pardons are bad?
