Things that are good about living in 2025
Bills4everNY replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
The Bills You can hear any song you want on YouTube. Also, If you don't want to spend $300 - $1,000 plus for one concert ticket, someone will tape the whole show and post it on YouTube for free and you can watch it in the privacy of your own home. Paying bills on your cell phone. You can get organic foods anywhere now, not just specialty stores. -
That is 100% fair. The reason people were so snarky was the idea that Brandon Beane of all people would be willing to eat the most dead cap ever ($31m) for a position that wasn't a QB during the prime of Josh's career was just highly unlikely. Especially when your only good WR besides Diggs was Shakir. Beane ripping the band aid off was shocking to me and a lot of us had to eat crow because of it. I underrated the toxicity of the situation when in retrospect I shouldn't have. People like Stephen A Smith were mocked on here but he turned out being right. I learned my lesson when it comes to looking too much at the cap ramifications and not enough about the locker room dynamic of a team.

Liked this song back in the day....looks like the band got together to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of the song......that makes me feel OLD!!!

This girl does a lot of covers on Youtube.....I think she out-does the Weeknd on this one:

If I f-cked up my career as badly as Diggs has, i'd probably start doing drugs too.

For everyone who says this doesn't matter without a Lombardi, imagine a different scenario. Imagine we were last in scoring and last in point allowed. Picture that level of misery. I agree, the job isn't done until we get a trophy. But to be #1 in both those categories means folks at OBD are doing something right. Bean, McD, Josh, and company have made us relevant, given us a chance, and created some good memories.

Dude, we're at the age, where after a gig, get Mighty Taco, go home, and SLEEP!!!!!

Well, then I take it back and wanna hang with him. 😵💫

When I saw “Diggs’ Drama” I thought this thread would be about the insightful posters who called for the cancer to be released or traded after the 2023 season and the snarky posters rolling their eyes and saying it was unwise or cap impossible.

Football intelligence doesn't matter if he's the guy we saw in 2024 going forward. Things like Intelligence and Being a Good Locker Room guy shouldn't supercede on field performance. I don't care how smart a player is if their performance doesn't match their smarts. The league is and has been filled with players who have a really high Football IQ that couldn't see the field or ended up busting out of the league because what they showed on field didn't match up to that intelligence. Some of the best coaches in the league are guys who have great Football IQ that didn't translate to on field success. The difference between Rousseau and Bernard in my list of those 5 extension candidates comes down to the position they play. Edge Rusher is a Premium Position. Middle Linebacker is not. Middle LB is much easier to replace than Edge Rusher. If you want a Top Tier Edge Rusher, you're going to have to pay 9 figures or have a Top 5 Pick in the Draft. Even average to slightly above average DE's around his age get swooped up within the first couple days of FA and paid a fortune. If you're taking an Edge Rusher at 30, you'll be fortunate to get a Greg Rousseau. If you take a Middle Linebacker where we pick in Round 1, you should be landing a Top 10 MLB. Thus the level of vitriol towards Edmunds. Edmunds wasn't as terrible as he was made out to be on the Board. It was just magnified a hundred fold bc of where we Drafted him and at the position he played. Drafting a MLB who can be a good starter in Rounds 2-4 is infinitely more likely than being able to find an Edge Rusher around those points in the Draft that can be Rousseau. Especially if we're okay with the kind of performance Bernard put in last season.

Just stopped by to say, I named the cat who decided he lived here as soon as I moved into my new apartment over 5 years ago. I found out his given name was Napoleon, which really isn't half bad. But I had already dubbed him The Chooch. Why? Because he's a freaking chooch, that's why. Should I change it to Diggs? Hmmmm🤔

Have our draft picks signed their contracts?
BigAl2526 replied to billvernsays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, the only thing that they can negotiate is guaranteed money, not the total amount or length of the deal. Late round draft picks don't have much leverage. Top draft picks have a bit more, but still not a lot. -
You know that's a fake, right?
