  1. Past hour
  2. “This” team, with Madabuike done for the year, is very different than the one we saw Week 1
  3. Yes. Churches do. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_bell
  4. If I wanted a big slot to play behind Shakir I'd steal Nash off Atlanta's practice squad. Former QB with 6'3" size and enough quickness and size to be a problem out of the slot.
  5. Hey, I'm smokin' in any jacket...
  6. It’s pretty wild that they were the favorites coming into the season. Two years ago, they had their best team ever and still couldn’t get out of the AFC. Not sure why anybody would put their money on them do get it done this season when they had the lowest odds…total sucker bet.
  7. both ski and cky are (szlachta) Ancient Royal polish surnames before the peasants had any Though there are slight differences in the distinction
  8. This world needs more people that care. She did! RIP.
  9. Yeah, the topic of the song is odd. So is Sweet Caroline. Obviously it’s not the same but the point is sometimes these things take off regardless of the topic. No one really cares what it’s about. 7 Nation Army is another song from 2003 that’s still around and is pointless. I just don’t see how something that the people love so much, associated with a team that they’ll always love, will just disappear?
  10. Incorrect. Just using it to highlight the absurd tendencies of the conspiracy crowd to play the Mossad card at every turn. Pointing out absurdity with absurdity. Sorry to have triggered some of you.
  11. Thanks for this. If he is getting more work on the boundary i think it speaks to the poor quality of other options they have had recently, although I have not studied this. I always liked him and thought he had a versatile skill set, despite being best suited for slot, not unlike Shakir. I would have loved him on the Bills when he left NE. However, at this point, the Bills have better options.
  12. There's 4 DB who I wanted in a Bills uniform. I was really high on Amos but that didn't happen. I was really high on Mukuba who is now starting in Philly. The next two i wanted were Nohl Williams and Zy Alexander. Nohl is getting significant playing time in KC and looking really good. For some head scratching reason Alexander, as far as I know, isn't with anyone. Like you said he was here 2 or 3 days and played one preseason game. Looked as good in coverage as Strong did at the time and even forced a turnover.
  13. Thanks for the breakdown. Looks like special teams needs to be on their A game. Or just don’t punt.
  14. Mack Hollins is gonna step on Benford's chest, isn't he?
  15. Do you think that all the lying democrats did about the sharpness of Joe Biden, when everyone in the world other than you, Frankish, Redhawk, and Scarborough knew it wasn’t true, play into the election of the bad orange person? Hard to believe your party sucks so bigly as to have lost to him twice. This time by the thinnest of margins according to you. That’s not a hoax if you remove a clean sweep of the swing states. Good work.
  16. Leaf, Falco and Tebow were bad quarterbacks and should have changed positions. Briscoe, after his one season as a quarterback, should have been given a chance and are you really comparing Leaf, Falco and Tebow to Jackson?
  17. In what world are we “fine” with two rookies, one of which missed the entirety of camp and no timetable on his return?
  18. A QB’s mom embarrassingly tweets about Rex Ryan and only four pages in, we’re talking about the Klan and smoking jackets. Never change, TBD. Never change.
  19. Funny this got me thinking - I am polish and my name ends in -cki which I was always told is pronounced 'ski' in polish. I Googled and it said "The main difference is, ski is the suffix of the “schlachta”, the nobles, by birth. Cki is the suffix given for achievements, for example on battlefield given to non-nobles, not only of polish heritage." So I'll assume my ancestor was some badass who achieved his name on the battlefield
  20. I wonder what the former teammate love ratio will be for Mack Hollins compared to Stefon Diggs in pregame on Sunday.
  21. I mean, I should be astounded. That's 2 Republican candidates - both expressing worries about the "trans agenda" - in prominent state races who have been found to have a secret predilection for trans "adult content." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Robinson_(American_politician) Every man hates what he has to deny ...
  22. Quite surprised no one picked up Alexander. For the fact he played a game, what? 2 days after being signed and wasn’t down right awful for his first ever time on a pro field was something that should have weight.
  23. If Hegseth can thoroughly eliminate this sort of thing he should get a lifetime appointment. You really should watch this.
  24. I don't think most of the posters here saying that the Pats are playing well have looked at anything other than the score of last week's game. Here's how that went. Pats win the toss and defer. Carolina drives for a TD on their first possession but misses the XP. 6-0. Pats go 3 and out on the ensuing drive. Punt. Panthers get a first, but get stopped. Punt. RETURNED BY NEW ENGLAND FOR 87 YARDS AND A TD. 7-6 Carolina punts agan, but this time our old friend Sam Martin puts it in the EZ. NE has an excellent drive for a TD. This was a good one. 14-6. Carolina drives down to the NE 25. Bryce Young trips and takes a horrible self-inflicted 11-yard sack. They miss the FG. NE uses the short field to get another TD. 21-6. On the next drive, the Panthers punt and Jones pops a 61 YARD PUNT RETURN DOWN TO THE CAR 14. NE TD. 28-6 and Game Over. On this return, three Panthers got their hands on him before Sam Martin tripped him to prevent the TD. Two guys tried to arm tackle him on the sideline instead of shoving him out of bounds. It was a comedy of errors. If Carolina hadn't missed a chip shop FG and given up 148 yards on punt returns, it would probably have been 14-9 at the half. NE still wins 10 times out of 10, but the lopsided score was a result of Carolina quitting after two special teams blunders. Whatever they do, the Bills need to keep punts away from Jones. In both of NE's wins this year, he's been the difference maker.
