  1. Past hour
  2. Agreed. That's the 4:25 standalone November sweeps game, probably played the week of or the week before Thanksgiving. (I meant to quote the point about the Chiefs game potentially being on week 17 on MNF.)
  3. You aren’t a vertical threat until you actually do it in games. If all you do is catch balls underneath then you are just another possession receiver. Having the ability to do something and actually doing it are two different things. It’s why I’ve stated multiple times Brady needs to utilize Moore as a deep threat as we have enough underneath and possession type receivers. Until that happens Moore is a redundant asset.
  4. Completely agree. As an aside, my favorite vs in the Bible is part of this for as Jesus responds to Peter's claim that Jesus is the Son of the living God, by stating that "this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my father in heaven." In short, we are not capable, as humans, to perceive this. It must come from faith.
  5. "If you don't like the scenery - move."
  6. Im curious to see if Ray Davis” role increases this yr. With Cook being disgruntled with his contract
  7. It was a weird game…the rookie safety got burned deep in the first half, the awful offensive play…but once the game was over I had no fears about facing that team again.
  8. Ask him for water, he poured me some wine We finished the bottle and broke into mine. You get what you come for, ya ready to go Well, it's one in ten thousand that come for the show. Abraham and Isaac diggin' on a well Mama came quick with the water witch spell Well cool clear water well you can't ever tell.
  9. The Texans beat us right at the end last year despite Josh playing terribly and completing 9 passes in the entire game. If we get average Josh Allen that day, not even elite Josh, then we win the game. I fancy us strongly to turn that around.
  10. Honestly it is close for me as to whether I'd rather play BAL in BAL or KC in KC. KC is a mental roadblock for the Bills in the post season. But Xs and Os wise I think the Bills matchup pretty well against them. BAL is a tougher Xs and Os matchup for us. The things they do well are exactly the things we do less well. Now if it is a home game.... I'd rather play Baltimore than KC every time. But on the road I genuinely think it is mighty close and I might fancy the Bills to finally pull a tight one out in a strategic battle with KC than I do to them outpunch the Ravens on their own turf in the playoffs.
  11. We always have enjoyed trying to find seating Lower bowl between the 30-50 yard line. Maybe 20 -30 rows up for an ideal view and still feel relatively close. For 1:00 games at Highmark, we realized we needed to get on the opposite side of the field as the Sun though, got super burned one year lol Lately though, we have loved the 4:00 games.
  12. Thank god we have this man to save us from the oligarchy. Just like Pope Francis, he is.
  13. Agreed. For the first time in a while all of the most difficult matchups are home games, and the Bills do have a legitimate HF advantage. The Texans are on the road, but I don’t think most of us really view them as a “top” team despite their division dominance and the game last year.
  14. No merch was available then. If you saw a regular guy wearing a pro football jersey, he was gifted it by a player. It was truly a different time.
  15. Sadly this feels like a retro topic these days! This is still a real good song but this music video is cheesy and awful
  16. If some rooks are immediately good I agree. If they're just depth probably not true.
  17. The whole Cook fiasco is beyond stupid. He's under contract! He has few options. Sure, he can sit out. That way he can lose a decent paycheck and at the same time compromise any negotiating leverage with other teams. Ideally, he'd want to play his balls off in 2025 off to increase his value in FA. As far as drafting or signing another RB - there were greater needs. Also, there may not have been a back the Bills thought fit their culture or talent level. Should they just sign any warm body to fill the position? Ray Davis may be to James Cook what Thurman was to then starter Ronnie Harmon. Davis looks very capable. The Bills still have Frank Gore Jr., who looked serviceable. There's also someone called Darrynton Evans and FB Reggie Gilliam in the backfield. The Bills are in the driver's seat. Cook will play in 2025 after which the Bills can slap the franchise tag on him, trade him, sign another FA, or draft another back in 2026. The Bills have options - not Cook. How much of James Cook's posturing is attributed to bad advice from big brother Dalvin whispering in his ear? He's on his 4th team since 2022. I doubt he's making top dollar as a journeyman. Maybe he should let little bro and his agent handle the business end of it. If James is smart, he'll shut up and let his play on the field speak for itself, and then he can get the money thing sorted out after the Bills win the Super Bowl next February.
  18. Frustratingly we can’t seem to hit on high round defensive picks being game changers, much less solid starters (Elam, Basham, Epenesa). Bishop might be the next one to fall into that category bc he really didn’t flash much, but we’ll see this year. Mid to late rounders seem to have about the same success rate. So for as much as McD can maximize marginal talent the team seems to marginalize better talent (and/or they just suck at scouting top talent). They have invested heavily in defense for years with little ROI and few top tier at their position players. Sure they’ve had some hits but they seem built the wrong way for tough games being a light but fast defense that doesn’t seem to ever get enough pressure on the QB in big moments.
  19. Highmark Stadium will be rocking for one last time 9-0 at home. Go Bills !!!
  20. Well, Beane had to do SOMEthing to feed the wide receiver train, right? I mean, God knows what would happen if we hadn't taken a wide receiver... /s
