Same here. Maaaan he simply wasn't a worker. And someone here did mention that the NFL didn't figure out Gabe yet. Once they did, yeah, it was over.

Remember he played OLB for Bills when he was first drafted. He didn't move to inside until after they traded for Biscuit later during his rookie year. He slowed down considerably as the pounding took its toll. He only played two full seasons out of 9 (6 with Bills), missing time due to injuries in all the other seasons of his career. -
This guy's story must be amazing. He's about to turn 29, is working on his 8th year of pro ball, has played 15 NFL games with 9 receptions. Somehow he's able to keep grinding out chances, but for some reason no one seems willing to make an actual commitment to him. The dedication he has to being a pro ball player must be insane. Multiple generations of 1rst round WRs have come in and washed out of the league since he showed up. Give me an episode of "A Football Life" on a guy like this.

My God. The Democrat party might really be done. They have literally nothing.

Nothing is long term on any of the WR's. Which is why they signed Deon Cain and tried out Justyn Ross. They just need some bodies to get through a little bit of time in Training Camp, so they aren't overworking the WR's they have. Gabe Davis isn't someone you bring in for that and he wouldn't sign on for that role.

RIP Ryno. I'm sure Harry Carey will meet ya at the gate with a ice cold Budweiser! Great Player

Wasn’t specified… which head? 🤷🏻 -
Correct...1-2 yr players make 13k minimum/week. Veteran PS players make 22k maximum for 2025.

It's a bit sad to see his trajectory since the 4TD / 201 yd KC game...I really thought he would become a legit WR2 for the Bills
-
you sound like a MAGA; so I’ll leave it at that.

Dang, RIP
-
can't they fashion an artificial bladder to replace his? I thought they did that for Keith Richards' wife.

Most of what I read has JP Losman as not only a totally class act but bonafide football savant. He is in coaching now. Not to say he was low character here, but I don’t recall him being held in high regard over character at the time. Perhaps one of the best examples of what could have been from the drought era.

In his prime Conlan was a pretty classic run-stopping, stack and shed linebacker but he was by no means a liability in the passing game. Besides good recognition skills he could definitely run. While at Penn State he ran a 4.5 forty. -
I'm not in favor of the Bills signing him. There is no reason to think he is better than the Bills' 3rd or 4th receivers. 5th and 6th receivers need to be significant special teams contributors. Otherwise, you're holding a roster spot for a bench warmer. I don't see that happening with Davis.

I was only still becoming a savvy football fan as the 90s began (entering my teen years), so the impression I have is of a physical plugger who wasn't exactly an asset against the pass. Could definitely be mistaken. He was rostered for 2-3 more years after he left Buffalo. -
Deion Sanders was treated for bladder cancer
North Buffalo replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have had bladder cancer stage 3 small carcinoma, it was in a diverticulum (out-pouching) so they removed that part of my bladder and then went through chemo...that was 6 years ago.. luckily it was "encapsulated" it hadnt spread... pretty common in guys over 50. I get checked every 3 months... had 2 small sarcomas show up last year so now I go for immuno therapy every 6 months totaling 3 years... 2 years left and nothing has shown since... thank God... it was detected because I had blood in my urine and got checked.. Bladder cancer is one of the most treatable cancers there is... -

Yes, you're right. He was not the same player at the end than he was at the beginning. Earlier in his career he was a sideline to sideline tackler who really brought the wood. -
