I love that guy. He’s been so good in so many movies and tv shows. One of his best was in the first season of Shooter, the tv show. He was in Armageddon, Superman, and so many others. Yeah to me, one of the things most Bills fans seem to misunderstand about Shakir is he is NOT an instinctive, reliable route runner like Beasley was. If he were, Allen would be feeding him non-stop. He doesn't have complete faith in Shakir that way and you can't throw the ball over the middle to a small target if you don't have complete faith that you will be on the same page. When Diggs and Davis were outside in 2023 it wasn't exactly Air Coryell but defense's couldn't just focus on one area of the field and were often doubling Diggs and putting CB1 on Davis. That left some huge holes in the middle of the field for Shakir back in 2023. It created this misconception that he was one of those "always open" types. Defense's are squatting in those areas where he was thriving back then. So they are forced to throw a lot of really short passes to get the ball in his hands so they can get that high end RAC out of him.

Chiefs 30 Bills 28 I bet the Bills +2.5 as they are almost never home dogs and they play better when people start doubting them. Still not convinced they will win though based on what i’ve seen from the passing game recently.

Moving Gabe Davis to the practice squad makes me skeptical, don’t think Bills make a trade unless it is a gift.

I was a big Coleman fan knowing players on FSU and what they said about him. Eating crow now - he looks like a WR4 currently. Hopefully he improves. I believe Gabe is def an upgrade at this point, esp with his connection with Allen previously. All this being said, it’s insane we have not traded for a WR. We should be willing to part with a #1 or 2 pick given Beane’s failure at drafting. Meyers, Olave, Shaheed have a much better chance of contributing than Beane’s pick in rd 1 or 2 next year. I’d also throw in that, normally being optimistic about this team, we absolutely do not look like a SB team. Every nay sayer picking this team apart is correct on their takes. To not even make it to the SB with Allen is travesty at this point.
