From Forbes. Not really a woke source.... Donald Trump just had the most lucrative year of his life. The president is now worth a record $7.3 billion, up from $4.3 billion in 2024, when he was still running for office. The $3 billion gain vaulted him 118 spots on The Forbes 400, where he lands at No. 201 this year. No president in U.S. history has used his position of power to profit as immensely as Trump. His primary vehicle for enrichment: cryptocurrency, an asset class full of hype and vulnerable to regulators. Teaming up with his three sons, Trump announced a crypto venture in September 2024 named World Liberty Financial, which initially struggled to gain traction. Then he won the White House. Almost everything in his portfolio is doing well. Appellate judges in New York threw out a roughly $500 million fraud penalty in August. Trump’s real-estate licensing business, stalled out for years, has come roaring back to life, with new deals in Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Romania, India, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Revenues jumped an estimated 580% in 2024 to $45 million, boosting the value of the business by $400 million. In the United States, the president’s golf-and-club portfolio continues to thrive, as profits jumped an estimated 30% in 2024, adding roughly $325 million to Trump’s net worth.

Game week thread - Bills at Patriots*

There’s gonna end up being essentially 5 uncommon games in a division race likely decided by 1 game. People that say ‘it doesn’t matter the schedules are similar’ are kidding themselves and on top of that, the ‘uncommon’ games are the pats getting 1-2-3 in the draft order and us getting three playoff level teams lol -
There are laws/fcc rules about how network tv stations have to share information if there are certain types of weather watches and warnings...it's why local TV will stay on the air full time during extra serious weather events I would imagine that relates to the stuff being shown at the bottom of the screen as well...and I agree it can be super annoying seeing the same thing for the hundredth time during a game and it messes with the aspect ratio too

I disagree. The bills are the 5 or 6 seed whether they win or lose today. I don't really see the pats falling apart and losing the division even if they lose today. I think there is going to be a third game with these two in january and that is the game where the pressure will be on Buffalo. Thats the game they have to win and the pats are just happy to be there if you will.

UPDATE 2025 - The Trump economy
Niagara Bill replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Not bothering to debate JD and other defenders, but when the US would rather kill there purchases of necessary potash with their neighbour, after yrs of great contracts that helps US farmers, to buy it from Belarus and then insure they have 100% access to heavy crude oil from Venezuela, who supplies 3% of heavy crude to Texas refineries, while Canada supplies 70% of the heavy crude at a 15% discount price to Texas refineries. The reason certainly appears to cancel a good portion of supply from Canada, for more economic pressure on their neighbour to become 51. Yesterday, to put more economic pressure on UK, the US walked away from trade discussions, which was suppose to be done months ago, to put strain on Canada's actual friends. Denmark issued warnings of US imperialism this week. Project 2025 is alive and well. -

The Patriots have already exceeded expectations. Even if they lose, they control their destiny to win the division. No NE Fan considers Vrabel's seat warm. On the other hand, a Bills loss will amplify the calls for making changes. Basically a total disaster for the Bills to loose. If they don't play like the more desparate team it will be very disappointing.

Bills Eagles Texans Chiefs Pats Giants Titans Raiders Those are the three uncommon games between the two schedules. Pretty clear to see which schedule is significantly softer. It's actually shocking that the Pats loss one of those games. Bills will either go 1-2 or 2-1 in their uncommon games. Then throw in the Bills playing the Bengals with Burrow and the Pats missing Burrow (and Chase) by like 4 days. -
Ok so basically there's no evidence. I opened this thread expecting actual reporting lol. I'm sure there's some tension over Ingram. These guys have worked together for seven years plus time in Carolina. There's bound to be issues. That said, surely they both know their fates are somewhat tied together at this point, at least in Buffalo.

I have never seen the 49ers ranked as having an easier schedule than the patriots by any metric and no Denver? lol that is straight up bizarre. Was this preseason or something? there is an absolute chasm between Denver/NE and the rest of the league. The bills schedule is very easy id say and they are over .100 above the pats in SOS. Not to mention bills were one of the only teams blessed with the burrow/chase bengals and a full strength ravens team. Bills schedule has been a bit harder than SOS indicates and wayyy harder than the pats. Bills have your typical very easy schedule any given year but pats schedule has been historically easy so far…it does heat up a little down the stretch though
