  1. Past hour
  2. Meh, it's Miami. We'd own them with whatever roster they felt like putting out their. And they'll be down to their cheerleaders by game day.
  3. I'm trying to not overreact too much and understand that there will be ups and downs with a young player. But the energy, the confidence, the quick development - the comparison that keeps coming into my head is prime Tre White if he had 4.29 speed.
  4. Nice take, I wish I could be more confident Beane makes a move. I watched him in the press box yesterday and he looked shaky. He knows this team desperately needs fortification and I think he’s afraid to spend draft capital to make it happen. Everyone says he’s making calls about all these positions but where are the F-ing deals. If we get stiffed we’ll suffer the consequences in January.
  5. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46819448/2025-nfl-week-9-barnwell-super-bowl-favorites-loss-chiefs-colts-packers-lions more here in the defensive master piece. first time in Mahomes’ career with a sub 500 completion percentage
  6. I’d be interested to see what the chiefs defense success rate on plays like that is…they are probably the best d in the league on obvious passing downs the bills were 2-5 on 3rd and 5+ I think and their opening drive TD they were knocked back to a 2nd and 14 and scored a td Josh was great but I think the offense definitely could’ve been better…Hawes dropped that wide open bullet and we missed blitz recognitions/pickups a few times and Spencer brown who was great the rest of the game gave up a quick pressure to karlaftis on that huge 4th and 2 play
  7. Illegal Aliens Milk SNAP For Taxpayer-Funded Free Food by Beth Brelje Many illegal aliens who are not eligible for SNAP benefits were nonetheless saved from scrambling for food Friday when a judge forced funding for the program to continue in November. Both the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) have been under threat as the budget impasse in Congress continues. SNAP was slated for suspension on Nov. 1 when the federal SNAP funding mechanism ran out. An appropriation bill must be passed to fund it. https://thefederalist.com/2025/11/03/illegal-aliens-milk-snap-for-taxpayer-funded-free-food/
  8. I do feel a bit bad for the Bills coaches trying to prepare for the Miami game, they should know by 4PM tomorrow who the Dolphins will have on the roster and which players have been transacted.
  9. Not sure if somebody already mentioned, but I think having the experienced veteran Poyer playing alongside him is now paying dividends.
  10. To be fair...... British folks.
  11. RIP. He was awesome back in the day when announcers were allowed to provide true commentary. Not the watered down, don’t tick off rhe NFL we have now. Look at what Romo has become from when he started. Would call plays before they were run, educated the fans. Now, just another mouthpiece for the league.
  12. I'm afraid Beane views things much differently than Roseman. One guy views it as we're all in to win with the team we have now. The other not so much, wants to be good every year and in the hunt. And, that's good enough for him. Guess which one is which?
  13. Fox News Channel's Maria Bartiromo asked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Sunday if he thought the government would open this week, as the shutdown was "seriously impacting the U.S. economy." Cruz had an intelligent take on when it might be over, and why. "I think it's likely to open Wednesday or Thursday of this week," he said The Democrats will wait until after Election Day because they think a shutdown is good for energizing the crazies in their party. But I think it will either be late this week or early next week." That sounds like a pretty intelligent assessment to me. The whole point of this exercise seems to have been to juice the leftist base, to try to appeal to them that somehow the Democrats were "fighting" for them. If they get people out and they can walk away with wins, even if they were in areas where they were already leading, they can say, "Hey, look, guys, we beat them," and convince the left they've done something. It gives them something of an off-ramp to argue. They likely think this can help them in Virginia, where there are a lot of federal workers, and then they can all come out to vote. Maybe. But the federal workers and others in Virginia might also realize it's the Democrats who have been behind the shutdown. We saw Republicans had actually gained in approval since the shutdown started. We saw that the largest federal employee union, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), has called for everyone to vote for the clean CR and open the government. As with many things with Democrats, this could backfire on them. It says something about Democrats, too, if this is their motivation - that they're more concerned about their own power than they are about how such political games would affect the people who haven't gotten paid, the people on SNAP, the people who may otherwise be hurt by the shutdown, and the harmful effects on the economy. It's completely believable, given what we have seen from Democrats. https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2025/11/02/ted-cruz-has-good-guess-as-to-when-the-schumer-shutdown-is-likely-to-end-and-why-n2195776
  14. You seem to be regularly “morbidly curious” about my posts. No need to pretend. Just toughen up a little.
  15. He’s got a nose for the quarterback…. (sorry 🤣)
  16. See it’s funny , fans want the one seed as they should and all of these are obviously hypothetical with half a season to play. The Bills get the one seed and the Chiefs and Ravens don’t win their division. Then that means one of them would come to Buffalo in the divisional round. Like I said hypothetical as I still think the Ravens win their division but if we’re the one seed we don’t want to see the Chiefs as the 6 or 7. We want the easiest matchups possible
  17. Unless whatever is out there isn't going to replace Hoecht.
  18. Anabolic roids are believed to interfere with collagen distribution. Which of course is what tendons are made of. It's the stereotypical thing for a roid user to pop achilles tendons. By the time he gets back on the field, after being subject to more frequent testing for the better part of 18 months, he probably returns a husk of the player we saw the last two weeks. As a Yankee fan we saw it with A-Rod after his last roid bust. The residual gain from juicing can be there for about a year but then it goes fast.
  19. True - but look at what happened right after Hoecht went out. Our D was back giving us heart attacks. They said it on the broadcast - Hoecht was the doubled man, his loss was significant. This is a massive loss. beane will make a move because now we know what it could be.....
  20. Fetterman: "Democrats Really Need To Own The Shutdown. I Mean, We’re Shutting It Down by Tim Hains Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman told CNN's "State of the Union" this morning that Democrats should immediately vote to reopen the government and avoid cuts to food stamps, Obamacare subsidies, and airport security. "Democrats really need to own the shutdown. I mean, we’re shutting it down," Fetterman said. "I know why they claim they’re doing it—because they want to address the tax credits—and I fully support that. I voted for all of our cars—our causes—every single time. But I refuse to put 42 million Americans into that kind of food insecurity." https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2025/11/02/fetterman_democrats_really_need_to_own_the_shutdown_i_mean_were_shutting_it_down.html
  21. I don’t disagree. Although NFL player has to be ready at any moment. When he does get in the game, the word I was searching for earlier is he is timid. Just doesn’t hit the hole hard and doesn’t seem to have the punch like he did last year.
  22. I agree with some of what you referenced but it’s a little unsettling how many productive players NE brought in with their draft and in FAs. Their WR room has been excellent( clearly more productive than ours)and their TEs(Hooper and Henry) are as good as any. The question you need to concern yourself with is not the talent level comparison this year but are you confident we will be able to supplement the elite skill position players going forward. I’m not, Beane has been a disappointment with personnel for the last 3years. Now, at a time when additional talent needs to be added( vertical receiver, secondary(safety and cornerback) and Defensive tackle) it’s coming down to 24 hours before the deadline and our tongues are hanging out waiting for something to happen.
  23. You must be a sheer delight at parties
  24. He was a monster for us yesterday and last week. Bosa get's through because of Hoecht. This is a massive loss for the Bills.
  25. One last play before I get back to work. The incomplete pass to Hawes, went right through his hands but right behind him Moore ran a nice deep dig route and is wide open for what might be a huge play! I hope they come back to this with the same look in the future and he fires it to moore.
  26. tbh...from what I have read, I think he will sign an accomidationg, team friendly contract. did big city living in my younger years, overrated when you get older.
