  2. Settle down. All the windfarming will counter act any effects you speak of. Its our top commodity. I mean the inflation reduction act is about to start paying dividends for our patience. The investments we made in social justice from defunding the police means we can all live in peace and young unarmed black men will never die at the hands of violence again. If you hurry you can still live out a dream of punching a women in the face to become a olympic champion. democrat rule still ripples into our future. that future is bright.
  3. All of them. If you need to add a reason, which are all legit, then there's really no point picking just one.
  4. The way some people have reacted, it's like they never watched a preseason game before. Vanilla defenses, no offensive game planning, and a montage of different players mixing in on special teams are what we witnessed. Coaches are looking for specific things from specific players who have a chance to make the roster while almost ignoring players that they know to be camp fodder. The mix of camp bodies with potential NFL players creates an overall product that is barely watchable. The camp bodies are there to save the wear and tear on the main talent of the team. We all need to remember this before jumping to any dire predictions of imminent doom.
  5. I do enjoy a good "let's mock the realists" thread.... Both teams played base defenses and offenses. The Bills defense looks every bit as ***** as they ever have looked, including the Bledsoe era. I'm sorry, but you should see more out of that unit, and there was no change. Piss poor play from the secondary and the ever invisible, yet highly praised Ed Oliver. Seriously, everyone on the "it's just one preseason game" side of the coin seem to not see that what was displayed looked just like the same garbage as last season, saying the same ridiculous excuses as last year at this time. Flame away.
  6. In the simplest terms an immune response occurs when your body recognizes something as non self. Distinguishing self from non self antigens is a hallmark of immunity. Autoimmune disorders occur when your immune system generates an immune response against "self" antigens. So Quack is right about this. A vaccine delivers a fragment or attenuated version of the pathogen to illicit an immune response without causing illness. This primes the immune system with memory cells and antibodies to respond to future challenges from the pathogen. That's it. There's nothing in the definition that says a vaccine absolutely prevents future infection. This is because no vaccine exists that is 100% effective. Not measles. Not polio. Not flu. Not covid. This is especially true of vaccines for rapidly mutating respiratory viruses such as covid. So if you're a 70 year old obese diabetic with heart disease you take the vaccine even knowing it probably won't prevent infection, but it almost certainly will reduce the severity of your symptoms if you do get infected. When you're old with chronic disease this can be the difference between living and dying. Even in a healthy 70 year old an immune response to a vaccine isn't going to be as robust as with a healthy 20 year old. Just as with everything else when we age our immune systems aren't what they once were when we were younger. So when you're under 25 and healthy as a horse getting the covid vaccine might make the difference between feeling crappy for a little shorter time.
  7. The 0-16 Lions went 4-0 in the preseason. Let me know when the playoffs start which we will be in because Josh is awesome. See above.
  8. Until my last breath I will never understand what happened and be pissed about’13 seconds’. i just don’t get how you call a timeout before the last play and then allow Kelce to run freely between 2 defenders. In my opinion, McD should’ve been fired for that but instead Frazier was the sacrificial lamb.
  9. I’ve missed you. Thanks for showing up and showing out with an absolute banger. Great work!
  10. Brilliant. Maybe he'd even suggest loading it in the trunk of his Taurus for the drive over to new Highmark and offering some practice squad guys $20 each to move it.
  11. I remember the horror noise of calling someone who was connected to the internet through their phone line
  12. Madden confirms: Red 90's helmet, Blue home Jersey, and White away pants look fantastic.
  13. It woulda been a lot easier to improve the offense by getting Josh one true elite pass catcher on the outside than rolling the dice on all these defensive positions and hoping they pan out.
  14. 3rd and 3.. Trubisky could of run it up the middle.. instead he stops in the middle of the line, throws a lateral into double covered half back... they have about the same stats but one is a quarters worth of work and another is a half. Both had a couple silly throws.. i want to see him play with our #1's next week.
  15. Josh has a gunslinger's mentality. He is a more athletic version of Elway and Favre. IMHO.
  16. That would be better described as a toilet (or target) for the birds, but I’d be good with that. 🤷‍♂️
  17. How about Bryan Cox flipping everyone the bird

  19. But my impression (no more than that) from last year was that the D-line was doing pretty well and the secondary just wasn't giving them enough time. Between Douglas losing a step, Hamlin playing back in the cheap seats, and various injuries, we were seeing opposing quarterbacks constantly finding wide open receivers. That's why I was hoping Beane would take Malaki Starks last year, Cooper DeJean the year before, and Kyle Hamilton the year before that. Rapp is adequate when healthy, and thank god Hamlin is benched. But I don't have a lot of faith in Bishop playing free safety. Has he shown anything at any point? I hope I'm wrong, especially with Hamlin lurking in the shadows. I do foresee a nice one-two punch in Hancock at free safety and Bishop or Rapp playing strong, but that's likely next year. In short, I think the rush will be much better this year, but it will be mostly wasted because of poor play at free safety, which will once again be the Achilles heel of the defense. But fear not! Allen by himself will be enough to compensate for a weak secondary AND a weak coach. Just watch.
  20. The Eagles did fire Reid and then won a Super Bowl. McDermott isn't getting fired because Pegula likes having him as his HC and the same goes for Beane as his GM. Terry's opinion is the only one that counts and that is the reality of it. Personally, I want Bill to coach the Bills. When he has had a franchise level QB his record speaks for itself. He is also a much a better DC than Sean and defense has been the main reason the Bills haven't been to a Super Bowl. Plus, he manages the game better as a HC than Sean does. But my opinion means nothing just like every other Bills fan.
  21. a lot of the areas don't have it and being that land line telephone lines are not a priority for most people to get run to their house, especially in remote areas it's amazing how people either have to go with cable coax to the house or starlink. many people i know down around here sprung for star link during covid and don't regret it.
  22. This is what preseason is for. How can people properly lament the Bills next (inevitable) playoff loss if they haven’t been sharpening their whining skills for an entire season? Think Big Picture! I say we keep Josh, and hold out judgement on the rest.
  23. Is this the same as arrow up arrow down?
