  1. Past hour
  2. I was a unicorn to my friends in the early Aughts; the "poor Bills fan" who would never give up. Their tune has changed.
  3. To be your counter here. AJE will play better/be more effective with an improved middle of the line (hopeful). He is a role player and will not be much more. But he can be schemed to become More effective. I am not dumping that guy at this point. If we had picked up another potential beast in FA ? Maybe my thinking would shift to move on from the young man.
  4. I've yet to hear a good argument against it assuming the lowest income earners don't pay taxes at all. I doubt the US ever does it though because the transitional period would be too burdensome.
  5. After returning from his injury, he had 29 targets and caught 10 of them for 161 yards and 1 TD. His complete lack of success when being targeted answers the question of why he got so few of them. The worst game Allen has had in the past 5 years was against the Texans when he went 9/30 for 131 yards and a TD. That production was eerily similar to what Coleman put up pops injury. Why would anyone want more of that?
  6. What Allen CAN do consistently that the Bills can't take advantage of with this WR corps is throw 30+ yard passes on a line. He doesn't have great touch on throws that require air under them but he can throw to areas of the field on a rope that others have to throw with arc/anticipation. Throws that are normally way out of a QB's range to make and where DB's are very vulnerable . Allen's range as a passer of low trajectory throws actually opened up the field quite a bit for Gabe Davis, who had the size to do work downfield but little else. Hopefully Coleman can become a much better version of Gabe, at least. But unless Allen can maintain his strong arm until the end, eventually he will have to find more consistency on touch/timing passes over the top to stay among the very best in the league as he ages.
  7. Some of those names are right tackles and Dion Dawkins has 7 years of consistency and he's getting better He's a tremendous left tackle who deserves more credit
  8. Hell no! But appropriately posted in a Smash Room thread considering the ladder is 5000 ft in the air.
  9. Quinton Morris would have been wide open
  10. Yes but Upshaw ran the NFLPA for a quarter century and made a LOT of football players wealthy men
  11. Now I see where Antonio Brown got it from
  12. Would anyone do this?
  13. Well, Beavis, it does seem like tariffs present an added expense. Almost like a tax, if you will. Flat tax is cool if you're Steve Forbes or Terry Pegula. Otherwise it is a freaking terrible idea. Especially for working people.
  14. That’s quite an analysis of Coleman and the other rookie WR’s. what kind of numbers do you hope/expect Coleman and Kincaid to put up this coming season?
  15. wait to buy tickets… people will be unloading them because they don’t want to sit in 25-degree weather for a few hours. Plus there’s a decent chance it’ll be a fairly meaningless game for both teams.
  16. kid rock is one of my Mom's favorites (she's 87) Speaking of Johnny Cash, my parents seen him live in Buffalo back in, I want to say 1968. My late pops loved music. It was the only live concert he ever attended. Loved it.
  17. Today
  18. How about extend the tax cuts (flat tax would be cool), cut spending, and remove the tariffs. Maybe we're just allergic to having a thriving economy.
  19. Bills fan since Fergy. I will admit to being a wrong Josh guy I feel shame
  20. Yeah, but Allen’s window will be over by then /s/
  21. Awesomeness! A band/ lead singer that she might want to check out. (Probably already has)
  22. I haven’t checked out the Bills part of Reddit but yeah sites like this feel a lot more personal if you will.
  23. I've been rewatching all the 2024 games. Elam was awful every chance he got. I defended him a lot on this board but he played his way off the roster.
  24. It would be nice if we could get a few physically imposing players from time to time. Other teams WRs are bigger than our TEs. Other than Allen, Edmunds(when he was here), and maybe Spencer Brown, I can't think of many guys that are just bigger and stronger than their opponent. Bills do generally have decent size at the CB position. Can only dream what Allen could do with a guy like Mecalf.
  25. Lately I've been using that Montreal steak seasoning and then grill it. Turns out great ! But I agree, no steak sauce
  26. no bye weeks in that era?
