Yes to scary Terry. I know Diggs didnt work. I know Mclaurin is 30. He elevates the passing attack. Flip Epenesa and some picks for him. 3 year deal. Push to get more explosive. Push to get over the hump.

Report: Terry McLaurin requests trade
BillsShredder83 replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Scary Terry is an all-around route runner. DK is a deep ball magician with limited route tree elsewhere. Its just different -
Im not too worried about this upcoming draft class at WR because our primary top 3: Keon, Shakir & Palmer are all under contract for the next few years. So it really depends what someone thinks of that trio. While I think a guy like McLaurin, like Hendrickson if he were to shake loose (both not likely) is the type of player you check in on no matter what, I think for us.. with Torrence extension eligible next year and McGovern/Cook upcoming FA’s, Beane’s level of interest would be highly dependent on his belief in our Top 3.. and I think Beane is really high on those guys. I’m slowly getting there too…

Report: Terry McLaurin requests trade
BillsShredder83 replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep the last 2 seasons we have had opportunities to pull away and put the game on ice. One more TD on the 2nd half stalled drives last year gets it done. Everybody says we wouldve got smashed by the Eagles, but we'll never know. We had a *MUCH* better OL than the Chiefs did, if we keep Josh cleaner than Mahomes was kept, I see no reason we aren't very much in that game. Im glad we drafted defense hard, but we're clearly missing a legit #1 for Josh that could've easily been enough to put us over either one of the last two years. Does not matter how you win it! You can win a SB with 75% offense / 25% defense, or vice versa, its not a requirement to be 50/50. To me it makes sense to lean into a strength, Josh is going to amplify whatever weapons are given him. 1 + 1 = 10. I'm all-in on this season, but I desperately believe we need to be all-in on getting Josh a #1 next season no matter what it takes. TRULY ZERO EXCUSES! FA? TRADE? Pick package to move up? Doesnt matter -
This isn't weird at all...

MAGA - report to the fields!
thenorthremembers replied to SectionC3's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Dude, statements like this are exactly why voters are shifting away from democrats. First off, it's a generality. Just because you saw a few out of shape people at a Trump rally on the news it doesn't mean "a lot of MAGA are either lazy or physically unfit." It would like me saying "almost all liberals want a sex change operation." It's just pure ignorance. Do you really think it's only people who voted for Trump who are out of shape or smoking vapes? While the image makes me literally laugh out loud, I'd go ahead a bargain you have a few "fatties sneaking vape breaks" on your side as well. If the numbers continue to deteriorate farmers are just going to have to move ahead with times and stop abusing the system. They can continue to use the work visa and legal immigration system. They can stop pretending its pre-Animal Farm America and pay people what they are worth for the jobs they do. You may have been trying to make a point, but you missed the root cause of the issue. There are plenty of Americans who will do manual labor. But they want to be able to afford a house and take care of their families. This is why farmers use illegals, because they know they can house them in ***** holes, pay them just enough to buy cases of beer for the weekend and send a few American dollars back to their families. Believe me, you're standing up for the wrong thing in this case. If you care so much about immigrants, maybe start by making sure they are being offered fair wages and a chance to become the farmer one day. Not, to continue to be paid poverty level wages that doom both them and their families into generational indentured servitude. Look at the core values of both parties. Do you really think its MAGA who are sitting on their couches? It would be income suicide for a person sitting on their coach collecting welfare to vote for Trump. -
It has always been a “coaching and defense” problem, vs the chiefs, hell we average over twenty eight points per game against them, we play a soft style of defense in clutch situations, the defensive style gives away easy yards and it has bit us in the azs regularly, but I ALWAYS hope for the best!! GO BILLS!!!

While I do think it’s unfortunate the 2026 is trash for WR I don’t think we would be targeting an early round WR anyways with the recent addition of Palmer and I’m sure the Bills will still see it Keon can develop However the 2027 is absolutely loaded with quality WR including two guys in the Nabers tier type guys. Obviously I’m hoping we don’t need to target a WR and someone turns out to be the guy but if not we can try again in 2027 And I’m totally down for acquiring Terry. I’ve been banging the table for acquiring a top WR the moment Diggs left and I haven’t been thrilled with the mid type guys we’ve been collecting. FYI I wanted Ladd and the only WR in our range I didn’t want to draft was Keon. Low behold we did. Palmer is ok but not a top talent that puts fear into corners or DC’s

LOTS of musicians here! I too am a fellow musician. Bassist for the Buffalo area band Boomerang. We know how to stuff ballot boxes, as we won Best Classic Rock band for the All WNY Awards 2 years running. This takes up most of my time. Rehearsals every week, with gigs every week from the second half of May, until last night. We have a 2 week break which is very welcomed. Then back to back gigs end of August. (Wingfest and Dwyer's). I also cook dinner for my wife a couple times a week. My wife and I also love to travel. Golf is something we wish we could do more of. If I'm not watching Football, I'm watching hockey, golf, some baseball, and home improvement shows with my wife.

How relevant/predictive is the # of INTs a QB throws in training camp?
MJS replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it could mean something depending on the situation, but you have to see the context, not just in INT numbers. If the QB is just a hot mess and air mailing passes, not understanding the concepts, not dealing well with the speed of the game, etc. That's going to lead to practice interceptions. If they are timid and unwilling to make throws (like Tyrod Taylor), that might lead to no interceptions, but also doesn't reflect well. You have to consider everything together, not just one or two data points. -
My 6’3” kid got a pic taken with Hogan years ago at some doing here in Buffalo 5-6 years ago. The Hulksters leg drops must of compressed his spine quite a bit.

A young player not throwing picks in camp makes me think they're tentative... Tyrod didn't throw picks either. 😬 -
Cars & Bills! I have a Dodge Challenger show car. Attend Barrett-Jackson and good guys Winternational events every year. I also collect and restore vintage slot cars. Revell, Eldon, Strombecker, etc. I collected parts and old cars / race sets for 30 years. Now that I am retired, I have been restoring them. Fun hobby with help from my grandson. i Hit TBD every day. Watch every Bills game ( and several more every week) And even got SeriusXM just to get the NFL channel. So football news is available 24/7 , at home and in my car.

Defenses are ahead of offenses at this point and the offensive line has been banged up (Spencer Brown and Alec Anderson banged up Dawkins has had a lot of vet rest too). I would be more concerned if the defensive line was looking good... It's training camp, I wouldn't put too much into it. Landon Jackson was in my mind at best gonna take the Smoot role of a backend rotation DE. Bosa and Groot are the starters AJE is the key rotation player and Hochet/Solomon/Jackson will compete for the remaining snaps. I know we all want rookies to come in and dominate but sometimes they need to marinate for a year or two.

We mostly ballroom but latin is my favorite. The parties are almost always non smoking. The entrance fee is usually less than $10. Group lessons are the way to go to meet people. The social dances often start with a beginner lesson. Ages vary from 20's to 60's but there are dances, like at salsa clubs that are mostly 20 or 30 somethings. btw, that video is very close to an experience I had New years eve this year without the pros. Salsa all night. So much fun. I think I did 4.- about all I could manage at that tempo. We didn't;'t do the switching partners on the fly but many did.

Training camp a rainy July 31 2025 day
fergie's ire replied to scuba guy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. The Bills brought in Ryan Nielsen who likes to use a lot of stunts and wants to have mobile penetrators, not stationary boulders that plug up the middle. The picked up three DTs in free agency and the draft and not one is a "true 1 tech." They are 3's who can play 1. They are talking about Carter as a 3 who can play 1. So, either they just couldn't find any true 1 techniques or they decided that that is not what they want. I think with that many selections, it has to be the latter. The tea leaves are suggesting that they want to attack, attack, attack...which I would love to see. Also, the Bills were one of the best in the league in getting pressure but it did not translate into sacks. They were killed by quick passes. One way to combat that is with better press DB coverage, but the other is by having rushing linemen get their hands up. When they're all over 6'5, it can be hard for a QB like Tua to get a quick pass off. -
Training Camp News - Around the League version
billsfan89 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bengals had a two year window where they were a contender 2021 and 2022. They made it to the Super Bowl and lost a close game in 2021 and made it back to the AFCCG in 2022 and lost a close game. Back to back seasons they haven't made the playoffs and have not been able to put a good offensive line around Burrow and watched their defense degrade into one of the worst in the league. In the Bills worst seasons with Josh they win 11 games and a playoff game victory. If I were a Bengals fan I would be very pissed if they let Burrow slip through their hands because the owner is incompetent and cheap... -
When can we start to freak out about Spencer Brown?

My hobby? Hating the Dolphins. Mike McDaniel just the most bizarre press conference, regarding Tua and Tyreek relationship “relationships are not built in a vacuum of dandelions and daisies”. What ever that means it is not good. This is going to go badly.
