What is a tech and why do the big fat dudes have less of them?
-
I went to see Adam Sandler's comedy show in Buffalo the other night and Rob Schneider was the host and did some warm up bits and had a whole bit about how many commercials and advertisements Josh Allen is in right now lol

Ya see? He did change the Texans prediction. A week late, but he came around.

I’m ok with nose guard. But the coach-speak football nerds like to be cool as if they’re in the film room breaking things down. Yeah. That’s what I said.

First ballot HOF players playing now
GunnerBill replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe. Again I'm a huge Evans fan, he was the guy I'd have drafted in 2014, love him and always have. Nobody would have heard of Johnny Manziel if Mike Evans wasn't an Aggie. I just, a bit like my point on Mack, don't think at any point in his NFL career I would say "he is the best player in the league at his position." And for first ballot guys that really would be my criteria. I would put Mike Evans in for sure, 2nd or 3rd year of eligibility. I'm not saying he should have a long wait. But I'd lean against first ballot if I were a voter. -
Is this really a thread topic? Playing sports and performing on commercials are two completely different skill sets. Some things translate but others just do not. Like most things in life; it’s simply not that complicated.

Good for him. Russ completely threw away any chance for them to win. Daboll will save his job if Dart gives fans even the slightest bit of hope & shows promise after his first year.
-
Daboll isn't doing Jaxson Dart any favors with this desperate effort. If he's going to bench Wilson (as he should), I'd play Winston for a few games until Dart is truly ready - which keeps the original (and correct) plan intact of sheltering their key first round pick When you make decisions based on listening to the fans, you end up sitting with the fans

Kansas City has great coaching. And their defense still looks pretty darn solid to me. I sure wish our defense was in the same conversation as theirs. Speaking of defense, I sure like the Lions defense. They have some talent there. Not sure what's wrong with our defense. Is it the lack of talent, or the scheme is just too difficult to play where guys can just fly around and make plays? Maybe both? Because the way the Lions went at the Ravens last night was completely different then the way we played the Ravens.

I was thinking about picking up the Chargers D in fantasy this week since they play the Giants this week. But now with Dart, I'm kinda having Justin Herbert vibes from his rookie year when he made his first start at the last second after Tyrod couldn't play. Of course, the Chiefs who I believe Herbert played didn't prepare for him. The Chargers will have a weeks worth of prep for Dart. So I am torn

Humans in general are horrible to every living creature on this planet. It is a disgrace.
-
That will work for two games before the DCs catch up, flood the short area of the field and it's back to square one. I don't think even the Bengals are stupid enough to think this plan could work. Wilson's time in the NFL is coming to an end.
-
I don't think he has ever been great. He has been pretty darn good, but never great. Just my opinion. I think he was always overhyped.

Bills Defense, will it get better as season goes on
GunnerBill replied to North Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea I agree. I think some of the third down play calling and the concepts on those downs against Miami in particular were bonkers. I don't have a ton of trust in Bobby Babich. There is an Assistant Head Coach out on the Pacific Coast Id take back in a HEARTBEAT. -
To be fair, he was considered a great quarterback still when he was traded to Denver.

Trading for Wilson and starting him would literally be a waste of a season. He is not getting that team to the playoffs. He stinks.

MORE: "I had to do these [diplomatic things to end wars] instead of the UN! And the UN did NOT even TRY TO HELP, in ANY of them. I ended 7 wars, dealt with leaders of each country, and never even received a call from the UN offering to help in finalizing the deal!" "The United Nations wasn't there for us. They weren't there. I thought of it after the fact, not during these negotiations... what is the purpose of the UN? It's not even coming close to living up to that potential." "All they seem to do is write strongly worded letters and never follow-up! It's EMPTY WORDS, and EMPTY WORDS DON'T SOLVE WAR."
