  1. Past hour
  2. Adjusting after a first drive used to be McD /Leslie special when they were together.
  3. Josh needs to be decisive like he was yesterday. Stick his foot in the ground, take off straight through the gap. Don't dance around too much inside the pocket. Special Teams, same thing. They were very deliberate on those kickoff returns yesterday. Get the ball and GO, stop slowing down waiting for blocks that will never happen. It's just bizarre that Knox can work himself open all over the field.. but our faster WRs just struggle mightily to make themselves available for Allen to get them the ball. Can't give great QBs like Burrow time to scan the field. The extra coverage doesn't matter when he has time to pick and choose. Should've blitzed more in the first half when they couldn't get off the field. Allen has the special gift of great running, so when you blitz him you better get him.
  4. It's only his first year, longer season then college and he was coming from an injury. might just be the grind that is wearing him down a bit. There is some game film out on him now as well. I look forward to his second year.
  5. It looks like Strong had neck surgery. You can see the scar on front of his neck in one of the pictures. Hopefully he had ADR done instead of a fusion.
  6. I would say Benford is Spider-Man. He spun a web for Burrow then leaped and glued that tater. Fans have been complaining about JA17 not running. I think through 12 games they’ve been saving him for now, which is essentially playoff mode.
  7. They have to come out aggressive against the Pats. They are playing Josh McDaniels. He will eat us alive. We need to lay the wood to Maye. Blitz away. Giving up a big play here and there is worse than them going 9-10 on 3rd down and /or constantly moving the chains? We need to attack, results be damned. We need to close out the Ralph with home playoff games! The AFCE title and 1 seed are still in play! Well ok, but when it becomes an easy pitch and catch routine.....
  8. Obviously zone doesn’t work but idk how you really man them up either…it’s a pretty damned if you do damned if you don’t type scenario. Their receivers are just so big and physical on top of everything else. Even with benford doing a fantastic job on Chase you’ve still got Higgins to deal with and even if you man both those guys up you’ve got gesicki high pointing balls and making one handed catches haha wth was that even Chase brown is developing into a good pass catcher
  9. One throw that isn't being talked about is a throw against the 49ers in 2020, played in Arizona. At the 46 second mark. How Josh was able to get the ball over an outstretched Fred Warner and right into Gabe's breadbasket is unreal.
  10. i just didn't think it would be too hard to figure out. i was wrong.
  11. This Carolina connection turned out to be one helluva signing. I hope he’s back next year if he can stay healthy
  12. I work in an organization that has people from all over the country. Several times, when the conversation would turn to football and I mentioned I'm a Bills fan, folks would say something to the effect, 'Not a big Bills fan, but Josh Allen absolutely deserves a championship.' Even a Chiefs fan said that.
  13. Interesting to pick those teams. 1st: SF and Philly have been to several superbowls, but guess who beat them in the Super Bowl until last year. That pesky KC team we couldn’t get by. That means if those teams had been in the AFC neither makes the SB until last year. They have a combined record against KC that is worse than Buffalo. 2nd: Both SF and Philly have routinely drafted higher including have top 10 ( and top 3 in SF case) picks and missed the playoffs several times. And overall their win % and playoff % is worse than Buffalo. The same goes for the Rams (multiple playoff failures under McVay with 2 QBs drafted #1 overall), or Detroit with Campbell. The NFL is not easy and to get the type of consistent play year over year with only 1 team - KC having a higher win % shows we have a good team and a good coaching staff and even trying to adjust for Allen is difficult because this staff has allowed him to grow and develop in ways many other staffs would not. Look at the job SF did trying to develop Trey Lance or how Philly treats Hurts - McDermott has allowed Josh to be himself and grow and make mistakes, but mostly get better.
  14. Honestly doesn't look to far fetched and will require the Chargers not to completely collapse. Indy looks like they are done.
  15. The whole team and stadium were going nuts, celebrating. But the play clock continued to tick. It was either take the TO, or take a delay of game and make the PAT longer. And the point mattered more than the TO in that moment, because it made the lead 4 instead of 3. You could argue it's his job to keep the team from celebrating, but that's easy for me to say from my couch.
  16. Damn, I hope it's not Cole Bishop. That Utah thug life make a young man do crazy ****.
  17. Oh yea I think that phrasing is fair and that’s becoming more clear as we go…they are just absolutely stacked and have pretty often been considered the best team in the afc. the original post though was like ‘the ravens collapse can’t be used as an example of how there are worse coaches than mcd/how it’s hard to be a good team for a long time because the ravens were never that good’ which i disagreed with the basis of the argument not trying to get anyone to like mcd but Harbaugh collapsing with that roster is pretty monumental…felt like it was getting swept under the rug to keep the heat on mcd when you can easily just criticize both guys lol
  18. after watching all22 i am adding Shaq Thompson also of note- looks like they took Milano off on at least one big third down pass situation
  19. I'm in so deep I'm apparently blocking it out. Damn them, but more importantly, damn me more. I asked nicely, twice. If that was an unreasonable request from your perspective, that's fine, I can only be responsible for myself. Seems a weird flex to be dismissive and then feel the need to offer suggestions on how people cope, but I just figured asking was the way home. Have a nice day either way. And VPN, obviously. I always thought I was more Jason Bourne, but it turns out I'm Stevie Wonder? What a day.
  20. Ya I'm not saying you're wrong, but I just don't know if I agree with that logic. Spotting a team 7 points while them taking 8 minutes of clock to open the game, can be the difference of winning or losing a tight game in the playoffs. To your first comment though- Ive never or rarely seen a Spags coached team open the game that passively
  21. It's hard to keep Burrow down. Play with cushion he stays patient, come up and compete and he will take his chance to throw over the top of you. I maintain the biggest problem the Bills defense has is tackling. I saw something going back to the week of the Kansas City game saying we had given up the most yards after contact in the NFL and was by a reasonable gap to 2nd. I can't imagine it has got any better.
  22. Gathering Data gets you down 2-3 scores quick....and if you're an analytics guy...or an average fan, you see that coming every single time.
  23. we should just forfeit that game.
  24. I thought the Bills would be totally dialed in for these Cinci and New England games. Cinci yesterday was closer than I thought it would be. That was dicey for a while. I do feel like the Bills will beat New England this week and get their revenge. We won't win the division but this will be like a playoff game for the Bills.
