  1. Past hour
  2. Josh is in his prime. need that game wrecker on defense to climb the last hill. id mortgage the future like the Rams did for just one Super Bowl. you want to win, you have the QB, now get this defenses Bruce Smith. its now or never, Mahomes and Reid arent going away. its an arms race. 5 years down the line do you really want to think about what could have been? when Josh isnt MVP material anymore and the team is barely making the playoffs? do it while u can.
  3. I would like to complain about this post.... I do feel the volume on my TV was too high for this episode.
  4. The Bills have invested a ton of capital in their front seven during the McDermott/Beane era (high draft picks/Free Agents), yet the defense constantly fails them in the playoffs.
  5. I just don't think we'll know about Tre until the season starts. On one of the comeback routes by a Giants receiver, it looked to me like he was powering down...taking smaller and smaller steps before coming back in stead of planting his foot and making an abrupt stop. That's a good way to avoid a non-contact injury. Now, is it the case that Tre can't make those abrupt stops anymore (either he physically can't or mentally doesn't trust his body to hold up), or isit that he is being careful....which would be smart? I think either is a possibility and we can't know until real football.
  6. Gi Joe came into Los Angeles and put everyday hardworking citizens into the million dollar dream and then threw em in a window less van right?
  7. I said in the other thread this is the one comment so far this preseason that gets me the most excited. Physicality matters in the playoffs
  8. Honest question. What has Beane done in terms of roster building that has pushed the team’s talent level ahead of teams like Philadelphia, Baltimore and Kansas City? I think most would agree that Buffalo had pretty mediocre drafts in 2023 and 2024, and they lost Diggs while still eating $30+ million in dead cap. Philadelphia had monster drafts both of those years and added Saquan. Kansas City hasn’t drafted nearly as well as Philadelphia during that period, but they did add a few impact WRs. Baltimore has drafted well and added Derrick Henry. I just don’t see how you can put the blame on McDermott when his roster has (IMO) regressed compared to their biggest competitors. Adding Keon Coleman and Cole Bishop while losing Stefon Diggs doesn’t strike me as the recipe for instant improvement relative to what those other teams have done.
  9. If Terry cleaned house, then it would be a problem as he would be the one leading the search for the next GM/HC. But if he fired only McDermott then it would be Beane leading the search for the next HC as he would be Terry's #1 football man in the Bills organization. Beane has never had the chance to hire his own HC as he came here after McDermott. We don't know how he would do when it came to hiring a HC.
  10. That’s what I’m hoping and I guess every fan. That it’s mental and if they get the first one then it will open a flood gate
  11. 1986- 0 (only played 3 games, 0 starts) 1987- 6 1988- 7 1989- 6 1990- 2 (only played 6 games due to injury) 1991- 2 1992- 7 1993- 0 He's 3rd in team history for interceptions. Comparing him to Hamlin at this point is just inaccurate. He's a replacement level player at best. Prior to that game in Cincinnati he was well on his way to playing himself off the team. Miami completely exposed his lack of speed shortly before that and that is a trait that does not improve. He also doesn't play with the anticipation necessary to overcome that lack of speed and he frequently takes poor angles and misses tackles. I get that people like the guy, and I don't wish him ill, but he is 100% a liability in the secondary.
  12. I do think KC will be as lucky in one score games and I do think that there is also some concern about their defense and wear and tear from making 3 Super Bowl runs. But I think their defense had 3 picks added to it in the first 3 rounds and Simmons along the offensive line could make an impact. I think KC is always formidable I think they win at a minimum 12 games and take a top 3 seed. Their defense if they don't get a big impact from 2-3 of their rookies could see some regression but their offense with the addition of Simmons possibly giving them a good or at least capable LT, Rice being back, Worthy in year 2 could be more of a weapon if healthy, Kelce is still there and could still produce, and there's a lot of veteran options at WR with Brown and Ju Ju neither scaring me all that much but each could have a game or two being highly productive. KC is still the team to beat in the AFC but I am hoping the Bills offense picks up right where it left off and the defense with the draft and free agency additions take a step up.
  13. Washington is just a step to get public use to military control, to have military used against own citizens, repeatedly, ramping up gradually towards crisis of 2026. Citizens being treated like frogs in a pot.
  14. You are correct, he is not a schmo, he does know where he is supposed to be on the field, but that is his only real strength, I have no animosity towards him, but he is a backup level player in all reality, always hoping for the best,
  15. Hairston and Strong likely need to contribute this year imo. Hairston for sure, and I hate to think what happens if Benford misses a game.
  16. Best I have seen! Pointed out a lot of data points and observations I was unaware of. Thanks for sharing
  17. I’m curious why you think that’s an appropriate comparison? Drafting a HOF player is like 80% luck.
  18. This may be the most heartening thing I've seen of any preseason report this year. Physicality goes a long way for wins in the playoffs
  19. Very true!
  20. Best of Bills history was 4 straight Superbowls and having to fend off Dan Marino in the same division every year. There’s no one position other than QB that the current Bills team is better at.
  21. Problem - big problem - is look at EVERY other Pegula pick for both Bills and Sabres other than McBeane. Rex, Ralph Krueger, every single Sabres GM. They have been universally horrible. If McDermott is fired, I doubt we end up with someone better, probably someone considerably worse.
  22. If it was cover zero it's one on one across the board and there's nobody else to make a tackle if Tre doesn't This is the time to try coverages and see how they work they're probably trying out more aggressive coverages to see how they handle them Instead of sitting in our zones
  23. You *****en Morons cried like little bit ches when food prices were up under Biden. Now you'll gladly pay more under trump. Hypocrites! Hilarious. Why is the price of electricity skyrocketing? But go on, keep pretending like you have a clue!
  24.
