How do the Bills fix their road game woes?

I love Herm Edwards. Just an old school coach. I miss these types of personalities. -
McD is probably the best chance Keon has of turning things around while here. He seems about as fair as they come, and even commented in recent days how everyone has a different journey. Sounded like a father more than a coach. Whether that gets through to Keon or not, who knows. Maybe he’s been the star athlete for so long and now living off his rookie contract, he either doesn’t appreciate or care that he’s not going to take the next step in his NFL career if he doesn’t get his act together. He seems defiant so far versus remorseful. I’d let him keep riding the bench until he gets his act together. Even then, if the offense is rolling, let him ride the bench the rest of the year. I don’t think the message has gotten through to him yet.

More importantly how do they fix their run defense?

Well only a day or two later Stroud changed his list after the uproar reaction. I think he added Josh at #4 and removed Dak Prescott. -
This (Texans) game is huge...

I am all about odds and percentages even though i suck at maths. If the Bills handle business this Thursday, I think it’s all but a guarantee that they make it in. I wonder what the % of 7-3 edit: 8-3 teams end up missing the postseason? It’s gotta be insanely low. -
Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
BADOLBILZ replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
Meh.......I think Shakir is trending toward becoming an injury fail. He's not good at avoiding big hits and it's taken it's toll. He was a liability on the field last week. So there might be room for Coleman to develop in the slot if retained in 2026. What would be Billsy is if they got rid of Coleman(and Samuel and Moore) and then Shakir continues to accumulate a brand new injury every week and turns into Terrel Bernard 2.0 while Glass Kincaid continues to shatter on contact. -
Looking at the Colts schedule, I think the AFC South winner could be around the 10-7 range. Texans twice, Jags twice, Seahawks and Niners. If they lose to the Chiefs, I could see them spiral.

The Bills need to get a win and head to the "mini-bye" get to 8-3. It would keep the Bills in the division race and it would also help this team to escape with an away game win and head to a few extra days rest. This is going to be the Bills last chance at extra rest before the playoffs (barring a possible meaningless week 18 which is possible if the Bills are locked in a 5 seed if NE keeps beating up on their soft schedule) so if they can get a win and escape somewhat healthy that would be huge extra rest for a stretch run. Not only do I want this team to "keep pace" in the division but I also would if this team has to be a wildcard team have them be locked into the 5 seed and in a completely meaningless week 18 so they can get a pesudo bye before the playoffs which is a massive advantage to have. If they want to have a locked in wildcard they will have to have a big record even if they can't catch New England.
-
I suspect there's things to correct here because when the team comes out flat, it's usually on the road. From the 2025 NFLPA Report Card on the Bills team travel: Note: In 2023, it was a D+. In 2024, team travel was a D, 25th in the league.

Parker was actually a 4.45 guy. Where the comparison comes in is that there are multiple examples of these bigger bodied guys taking longer to develop because they lack the speed and or quickness to dominate initially. When Parker broke out he was probably trending toward stringing a few 1000 yard seasons in a row up.....which would be an excellent result from an early second round pick like Coleman. But injuries got Parker and derailed his career after that 1200 yard 9 TD season. Davante Adams and Nico Collins didn't break out until age 24.........that would be year 4 for Coleman. Which illustrates my point about the Bills putting way too much on his plate this year. -
Chiefs have looked horrendous ever since the Bills loss. With the Colts next week, they could fall below .500 Broncos, Chargers, and Colts are their hardest remaining games. I think they drop 2 out of those 3 which would put them at 10-7 by the end of the year. They would need to luck out with tie breakers and some upsets to snag a Wildcard. Possible upset alert for the Cowboys matchup who are in a similar situation fighting to make the postseason. Or they could go on a total hot streak like the Bills did in ‘23 and win out for a 12-5 record + 1 seed. You never really know, but I genuinely think they miss the playoffs. Ask me 3 weeks ago and i would’ve had a completely different opinion, but they’ve looked atrocious as of late. People think the Bills receivers suck, but the Chiefs are a different level of suck. Their best offensive skill player is a 40 year old TE who’s on the downside of his career.

Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
The Jokeman replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
And Keon has as many targets in his career as Ladd has in this season alone. Our current offense will not let get Keon get 8-10 targets in a game on a regular basis so to even expect him to get 8 catches and 100 yards plus isn't going to happen and guess what it wouldn't happen if Ladd was here either not because of talent because of scheme. -
Democrats are continuing to make this fake news a thing bc they know it’s fractured the pod cast bros that thought we were “getting” the files - there is a portion of Trump support that thinks this is a broken campaign promise. Which it never was. That’s all this nonsense is. That and they need to distract from this:
-
That's not necessarily a great thing. Mills has been pretty good in the last 2 games. I almost wouldn't mind a Stroud coming back after a few games off from a brain injury.
-
I noticed Sunday that Piyer is pretty good at not letting runners or receivers fall forward. I think he does this better than any other Bills defenders. Too often a LB or DL smashes into the pile and pushes it 2-3 yds forward. Men without hats?
-
The Bills were also robbed and I mean robbed by the officials in the playoff game. I am still pissed about the second half kickoff td for the Bills being overturned by some random guys.
-
well maybe they should score more points. I don’t care about games from different seasons. This is a new year. They scored 44 points last week.

The problem is a lot of those guys are not coming back this year. Hoecht is done. Jackson is done. Strong is done (and who knows career wise). Rapp is done (maybe a good thing). Oliver at best is back for the playoffs. I still think it can go half a second sooner. He has not been decisive enough in multiple games. When he overthinks he makes mistakes. When Josh is playing instinctive and decisive it doesn't matter whether he is going short or long he is hard to stop. -
For me it's simple and comes down to 2 things. 1. I need to erase that 9 for 30 performance. 2. Show me this offense, specifically the passing offense can get it done against an elite defense, and it will go a long way for my psyche, as it relates to Superbowl aspirations for this year.

I could be wrong but I believe he wants #8 and #21 to cross before he throws the sit route. The timing gets messed up primarily because Palmer gets chucked to the ground which causes #21 to slow down right in the throwing window to Knox. This is the moment where he ideally wants to be releasing the ball: Like I said I could be wrong but I believe #21's positioning is why he has to throw it a half second late.
