  1. Past hour
  2. Cooks is not young. Technically he was using a rollator. He's old enough to be Tremaine's dad. Sshhhh... A few but no one's mentioned that the reason they need 2 Cooks is because everyone has to eat... On the subject of Cooks' durability, the NFL went to a 17 game season in 2021. Since that time he's played in 65 of a possible 79 games (82.3%). Previous to 2021 he played in 91 of a possible 112 games (81.3%).
  3. No Then Moore added to the PS.
  4. Can you believe what Beane says?
  5. My answer is No, I want to win. Didn’t see that as an option in the poll
  6. Do not dare to deviate from the narrative. I read topics and this first two or three pages are negative after defeats. There is a difference in frustration over play calls or injuries etc and who call the HC McDummy. That makes me roll my eyes.
  7. After a 41 to 34 win against canisius in the Monsignor Martin championship game they have earned their spot in the New York State Catholic championship game Against Iona prep the number one team in New York state St Francis has never won a New York state Catholic championship at the highest level They have their chance now against AAA Iona prep With a high-powered offense I think they could get it done versus the gaels Good luck to St Francis in the state championship in a few days

  8. They’re gonna be the first home underdog as the 1 seed in the divisional in history probably (not sure how to look this stat up easily 😂). I think even that titans team that blew the 1 seed was a 4 ish point favorite I think they’ll probably lose that game to whichever team it ends up being against tbh
  9. So I take it Ben Franklin knew about the Iroquois confederacy. So when we drafted the Articles of Confederation it probably was at least a tiny bit influenced by it. That’s all.
  10. Why take on the challenge of change when you're getting $10M per year to keep doing the same old thing. I'm always wary of leaders that think their "process" is king. Keep following the process until it actually works so you can satisfy your own ego. Sadly McDermott hasn't been a bad leader through this tenure, he's just stubborn and stuck on following his own mantra while the league continues to roll on. He can't or won't adapt. If he doesn't have the players to fit his system to a T, he keeps pushing and hoping it'll all click at some point e point. He should have learned that even if he gets the "right" players, injuries can impact the course of the season drastically. New crew, same tired old plans.
  11. Turkey thighs FTW.
  12. I don’t get it either. The one repeated complaint of the cynics seems to be Burns reference to the Iroquois confederacy being an influence to the founding fathers. I guess they think that’s woke so it can’t be said. Upstream on this thread I posted the senate hearing with testimony supporting Burns position on this point. Regardless, this is a 5 second part of a 12 hour series so to dismiss the entire series due to this point is stupid.
  13. Pats going to get bye before we did. Cruel and unusual punishment
  14. Craziest part of this list is beane actually got value for trading all three of them haha obviously yea bad picks but my goodness what were these other gms also seeing 😂 (or no gms in Dallas’ case lol)
  15. New all time bust? He's barely Beane's worst pick with Elam, let alone Cody Ford and Boogie Basham.
  16. Dry brine between meat and skin for 48 hours. The breast meat is juicy as can be.
  17. I’ve been told they tried hard to trade Coleman for another WR
  18. That is an absolutely ridiculous reason to keep people employed. Yet...probably one he will use to justify they return.
  19. Cooks only 32.
  20. it's beane. then, this year its brady, by proxy mcdermott cause he hired the other guys
  21. After the trade deadline, even vets have to go through the waiver process.
  22. @Another Fan @Gugny As soon as I heard about this my first thought was OK, what's next. On the surface it was a head scratcher. Not so much because it's a bad swap - there was a tradeoff wrt to age/contract as well as offense/defense - just that it feels like a precursor to other moves. They created a hole in left and the obvious front runners are Bellinger and Tucker. They valued defense over offense but added to a crowded infield logjam. The fact that they chose defense over offense makes me think Vientos may be the odd man out. It also feels likely they'll try to package some of the youngsters for Skubal. As for Nimmo, I'm sad to see him go. Solid but unspectacular player and an easy guy to root for. I'll miss his sprints to first on walks.
