Problem is his defense last year started with streaks on the bed and finished with a full blown deuce... this year they are starting with a full blown deuce... methinks he doesnt have a clue what he is doing...

Ed Oliver hit on 3rd down last drive. Wow
HappyDays replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just watched that clip from the endzone all-22 view and if Oliver didn't push his man into the backfield, Henry was going to house that one from 70 yards out. Had a wide open gap with a blocker in front of him and nobody in the 2nd or 3rd level to even slow him down. Oliver played like a Hall of Famer in this one and we needed him to or else they would have put up 50. -
Recent history at MetLife says this will be a very close game. Five out of the last 6 games there were decided by one score. They also lost to Zach Freaking Wilson twice in that stadium. I would love it if the Bills were up big and the Bills backups were playing in the 4th quarter. But what I think you will see is the game will still be in doubt in the 4th quarter. The Bills should win as they are the better team, but I bet its close. In my football pool I took the Jets +7.5.

Josh's pass to Palmer that (more or less) won the game
Low Positive replied to Low Positive's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just watched it a few more times, staring at Palmer instead of Josh. Palmer faked inside, and Alexander completely bit. It was like a crossover dribble in basketball, where Palmer got Jaire running in the wrong direction. -

Talking to a girl I hang out with sometimes who lives just south of Charlotte. She votes for Democrats. Hates Trump. Yada yada. Says she thinks it’s awful but doesn’t understand why it’s a political issue. Therein lies the issue. White women vote for this stuff but detach themselves from any responsibility for it.

Why would that be nonsense?

Josh's pass to Palmer that (more or less) won the game
starrymessenger replied to Low Positive's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah. I saw Mahomes do something similar just the other day in the KC loss. Don't think there was a pump fake but I don't doubt for a minute that he would be capable of it. Burrow might be the best pure passer. It's not his legs/mobility that generally puts him in the same class as the other two indisputably elite QBs. Lamar is elite too and has shown great improvement as a passer but he is not in the same league as those guys as far as that specific attribute is concerned imo. I don't see him routinely making that throw in that way. Im not sure Herbert reliably makes that throw either. He has the arm of course but a noted issue is the trouble he has in generating the right arc on his throws to permit receivers to run under it. His ball is typically flatter than what you would want in a situation like Josh faced. With Herbert I think its a lack of touch that can result in blown timing when the placement has to be perfect. -

Sure man. That totally explains all the “Ireland for the Irish” nonsense

JA- Looking Like Brady- Yes Sir....
thenorthremembers replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Using semantics doesnt change the overall point of the conversation. Anyone who calls Josh "better" than Tom Brady is incorrect. Josh may be the most physically gifted Quarterback of all time, but he is not better than Tom Brady. -
If big Ed looks like he did , we might have the best DL on the field , he played possessed

A few Random Thoughts After the Ravens Game

Favorite play was that :01 pass from JA to Dalton. And Sean having the stones to go for it. We needed every pt. -
I hope we can all agree that the fade is the worst play in football. I don't care if you have Megatron in his prime, I still hate that play.

Trump lies, post them here

Let me remind you in clear terms: Mitt Romney vs. Kamala or Joe? I voting for Mitt (as I did in 2012) Marco Rubio (the 2016 version) vs. Kamala or Joe? Rubio. Yes, I am a never-Trumper, and I think the reasons for that should be obvious. Anyone who was a Mitt/Rubio Republican c. 2012-2016 should be appalled by the total capitulation of the Republican Party to one weird self-serving dotard. -
I just don't know what the Bills would have to do to keep the Nervous Nellies from Nervous Nelly-ing. I understand you should have a fair amount of respect for any opponent, but its only Tuesday and people are already hand-wringing over the Jets DL or running game?? I know division games are always a little closer than they should be, but if you think there is any less than an 80% chance the Bills win this game, then you are just a professional worrier.
