  1. Past hour
  2. 🤷‍♂️ They’re 5-5. Standouts?
  3. Get it done fellas, GO BILLS!!!
  4. No idea why people think Burrow coming back wouldn’t be a huge help.. Maybe he’s not fully healthy and rushing back, maybe they still lose .. but Flacco is a backup QB for a reason and after a few games, is now doing what backup QBs do when pressed into action for more than a few games. Nevermind the juice that team (should) have if Burrow returns, along with it being at home where the crowd will likely be electric.
  5. do you live in a van now? and dude...20k? daddy's little man!
  6. The Bills defense is pretty much picking up from where it left off last season. Susceptible to be lit up by good offenses, capable of shutting down bad offenses and somewhere in the middle against mid-level offenses. Pretty much another averageish defense. The Bills rank 12th in defense by yards per game. They rank 18th in scoring defense. They have the second worst rushing defense in the league but the second best passing defense in the league. The Bills rank 10th in total sacks (with 2 teams ahead of them having played although only 1 of those teams is even close to the Bills sacks wise with the Chargers at 29 sacks 3 ahead of the Bills with an extra game played). With the resources poured into the defense (granted not massive resources but significant resources) you would think that the defense could be somewhat better than last season but that's not looking to be the case. I hope I am wrong as the later stages of the season go. I honestly would have no problem with this caliber of defense if the Bills didn't have a massive hole on the offensive side of the ball. If the Bills let's say didn't sign Bosa and one of the PED Twins and traded a 2nd for DK and had a "go to" WR plus added Palmer for depth and the Bills were just loaded on offense with no major issues I would be OK with saying hey you have a big QB contract and a lot of talent around him, you kind of in the NFL cap era have to live with just an OK defense. But that's just not the case.
  7. Chiefs need to beat the Colts. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
  8. Late 2nd Cook. Late 2nd Torrence. Jumped NE in the 3rd for Brown. Three pretty massive building blocks around Josh Allen. Signing Ty Johnson. If only Beane could do at WR what he’s clearly capable of doing at OL/RB.
  9. This is a game where we could really use a great offensive script, keep them off-balance and score twice quickly. If we are up two scores I don't think Davis Mills is gonna come back on us.
  10. So you’d rather play against Burrow than Flacco? Got it.
  11. I owned and sold a house. Thanks for your concern. You should definitely take a break from here. You seem mad. I gotta get my ***** together? I have over 20 k in my bank account lol
  12. They tried to bolster the defense but a few bad paydays, bad breaks, FA and draft fell flat. Apparently Beane’s not all that!
  13. It's because Jalen hurts is very overrated as a paser He was able to consistently play good down the stretch last year and get the ball to his top guys.. but that's never been his game If the league has caught up they really might be struggling offensively because hurts is not a top five or even top seven quarterback.. he's a great athlete not the best passer
  14. The defense hasn't been bad through 7 groups of players.
  15. You ht on several of the variables that go into a sound decision. Term, interest rate, down payment, loan amount, along with the rate of inflation. For me the most important factor is the interest rate. Some car makers are offering 0% loans for example. In that case a longer term of 7 years could be the better choice because the entire payment amount goes to principal. And at an inflation rate of greater than 3% like we're experiencing along with the time value of money means by the time you get to year 7 the payment in real dollars is around 19% less (by my calculation of compounding a 3% inflation rate over 5 years) than at the start of the loan. And keeping the car loan-free for a number of years beyond that means no payments! The absolute worst way to finance anything is through credit cards. Nobody talks much about addressing this issue. With onerous loan-shark like rates of 22% the amount of dollars you pay to service the balance is obscene. If either political party wants to attack a major cost to Americans tackling the interest charges banks are allowed might be a good place to start. Generally, the most cash strapped consumers fall into this debt trap that isn't so easy to exit. For people that can pay the entire balance off every month its a way to use somebody else's money for a month.
  16. Right? Kind of the exact opposite of early round strategy vs. later round strategy. Early, go for the "sure things" and later go for the "upside" guys. And to Beane's credit, he has some history with the mid-round guys definitely working out...less so with the early round guys (Allen of course).
  17. He's only in the top ten because of his longevity. Missing out on players like Miller, Hoecht, Samuel, and Palmer’s contracts, along with the many Day 2 defensive picks that haven't made a big impact, would have probably cost other GMs their jobs. But since he chose Josh Allen, that really makes up for a lot.
  18. I know I'd feel somewhat better about this season if they can find a way to shore up that 31st-ranked Buffalo run defense. They are currently a top-five offense, with 4th in points, 2nd in yards, and a near top ten defense, 14 in points allowed, 12 in yards allowed. That schedule though... at Texans, at Steelers, Bengals, at Patriots, at Browns, Eagles, and NY Jets. Thinking that a grandmother could gain first downs by running it, and thus eating clock while keeping Josh off the field.
  19. you're 40. you act like you're a kid. i car about 50 year mortgages because it's an incredibly bad idea for the younger generation. that is not a solution to fix the housing market at all, but unfortunately there's people who aren't financially savy and will thinks it's a good idea because it came from this administration. even in that thread there were comments such as, "if the dems don't like it, it must be good". suggesting people take on a mortgage like that where it's almost all interest for over what 30 years plus. that's far more damaging anything posted in this thread, but who cares right? again, you're a 40 year old man. if you don't know anyone that can take on a 30 year mortgage at this point in your life, you must hang out with #######s. i see young people come through my office on the regular who are buy homes on a 30 year. get your ***** together already.
  20. Would you be open to letting keon spotlight you? So he learns what it means to be prompt
  21. Hurts has been handed a different system, a different voice, and a different philosophical framework nearly every season dating back to his Alabama days. Under those conditions, instability is the norm. He adapts by defaulting to the parts of his game he trusts. I also think the 2025 Eagles OC is a bit of a dud. Patullo is predictable with a billion hitch routes and hates the deep pass on a team with WRs who excel at running deep routes and getting open.
  22. I think the bottom line is production. If Shavers continues to "go off" and Gabe Davis is truly healed from his knee injury and able to contribute, that gives Josh two targets he trusts, who seem to be giving good effort to run good routes and be in the right place at the right time. Gabe will be "QB friendly" when the play breaks down. As long as that happens, Keon may find himself on the outside looking in.
  23. I thought it was Frazier all that time. Turns out he was just running the McD scheme. Rush fo and hope...
  24. These people saying Josh wanted Keon spin it like he was Josh's suggestion watch a lot if msm news. They love to spin, cut/paste qoutes and videos to fit their narrative and turn the truth into a complete lie
  25. That is true, but he drags his feet, yells, punching the air the entire time. His shtick got old when his approach comes to Buffalo. Yeah, his pattern is consistent on that regard. He became predictable with his reasons, too. To keep the audience on their feet, Nick Wright should try to play Devils Advocate consistently. The recent show was probably his worst outing with all the yelling and pleading when one dude rated Buffalo high, way higher than Chiefs. It was just embarrassing to watch a grown man baby cry.
