  1. Past hour
  2. Not wearing the vomit inducing cold front jerseys should help this go around.
  3. Not happening. The Chiefs last stand to save their season was Sunday night vs Houston. They didn't so their 2025 season is dead.
  4. Awesome play, but I don't think technically that was an interception... more like a purse snatching.
  5. I’m sure this will change for me come Sunday, but I just don’t have the juice for this game that everyone else seems to have. If anyone can convince me that the Pats can lose to the Jets or Dolphins, I’d have a different tune, but it just seems like delaying the inevitable. And worst case scenario is us playing everyone Week 18 on the off chance Pats lose and it doesn’t matter. I don’t necessarily trust Vrabel against good teams in the playoffs. He’s also never had a Drake Maye.. and we’ll see what Maye looks like in Dec/Jan clutch football, but the closest they’ve come to remotely losing to a bad team is against the Flacco led/no Chase Bengals. And on the bright side, should the Pats eventually clinch the Division.. if the Chiefs manage to sneak in as the 7 seed, it just doesn’t seem right to have Bills/Chiefs in the Wild Card. Give me the 5 seed in that scenario & Bills/Chiefs at Highmark.. last game ever there, with a Super Bowl on the line. Absolute cinema.
  6. Hopefully we get him back for the playoffs.

  8. No, this seems pretty accurate. I think barring an injury to Josh, missing the playoffs would be a red flag. And the argument is less "it could always be worse", and more "no seriously guys, it's statistically likely to be worse and we're likely to waste multiple years of Allen's career confirming that it's worse".
  9. "We wanted to better understand the culture of Whiteness and support parents to challenge it" how many of the racists here had/have parents who used the n word within their home on a regular basis? racism begets racism. stupidity begets stupidity.
  10. Yeah, I had the whole list of TE contracts pulled up on Spotrac when I posted that. I get that contracts always go up over time, along with the cap. Knox signed at $15M/yr but has been knocked down to $9M/yr in order to keep his job. Kincaid has been good, but certainly not elite even when healthy. I could get comfortable at $12M/yr. But if we didnt want to pay Cook $15M/yr no way Kincaid should get that. He isnt in the Andrews/Njoku/Hockenson tier. I can
  11. This is Palmer’s first year with the team, and all season we’ve talked about how Brady hasn’t fully utilized the receivers. Palmer has already missed eight games, and it’ll be nine if he’s out this week. If he’d been healthy, he and Allen would have had much more time to build chemistry and integrate him into the offense. I don’t think anyone would disagree that Palmer is probably our best true outside receiver when he’s available. That matters. It shouldn’t be brushed aside. This offense could use any extra spark it can get at the position, and a healthy Palmer would absolutely provide that.
  12. I don't think he's shown he isn't capable. We got absolutely hosed on ball spotting last year in the AFCCG, and there are some pretty interesting statistical analyses demonstrating that the Chiefs get favorable penalty calls specifically in the postseason. I think last year would have been the Bills getting seal clubbed by the Eagles were it not for the ball spotting shenanigans. If we get bounced out of the wild card round due to coaching blunders I'll sing a different tune.
  13. It was Fitzy, and they were trying to decide if he was in fact shirtless. Too close to call by the naked eye.
  14. I'd get some computer science/programming interns to make a program that you can quickly plug in what players are on the field, the down and distance, maybe even the spot of the ball, and it would give you, based on the previous games, what the most logical play the opponent will run.
  15. I don't know,, in a bunch of videos i keep hearing Josh say "stay low, stay low" "don't ride the rollercoaster".... so maybe they will come in sleepy. But i doubt it. I get what he's trying to do, maintain the same level of energy for every game, don't get too hyped or too low key. But hey, for the biggest games I'm OK if the team is hyped up at gametime. They clearly were not at Atlanta and at Miami this season.
  16. He is watching the packages coming in on the opposing teams defense and who is warming up. Simple as that. Every team watches it to know what to expect to counter the on the field substitutions.
  17. Ah okay. My bad then. Yeah, Josh would have to go nuclear then down this stretch including a W this Sunday against the Pats. Either way, both have to overcome Stafford's story book narrative.
  18. It’s funny the first time the Bills met the Patriots the game was critical. If we have won that we would likely be cruising towards winning division and maybe first seed in the AFC This game is actually less important. Our regular season date is mostly sealed whether we win or lose. Having said that if we lose it will certainly seem as thought the Patriots have passed us in a single season. But the playoffs could still fix that feeling.
  19. Playing Whac-A-Mole with the LAMP infected would certainly grow my post count, but come at the cost of sanity. Any meaningful reading of the word current, in the context of best quarterbacks in the NFL, would allow for, or even require, Mahomes, Burrow and Jackson. I’ll let you hang your “I’m relevant” hat on the astute grasp of the obvious that not everyone is at their best every down, quarter, game or even season. That’s how you get, I suspect, to 50 thousand posts. What insight and I’m grateful. The original post, and title, are certainly interesting, unexpected, and infrequent. I will recognize LAMP instincts and nod approvingly as you point out any athlete at any time in any sport can have up or down performances. I will leave the last word to you, suspecting you covet it. PS …. My Hyundai Genesis passed a Ferrari in the shop for an oil change on my way to work. I currently have the better car. True? Perhaps in some oddly disinteresting way. It is, however, an opportunity for me to interject on some Ferrari discussion board, throwing darts at things like gorillas fling poo, all the while building my post count. PSS … you didn’t name your four QBs for my hypothetical GM review. You’re welcome to add the word “current,” a debatable point, perhaps, but one that doesn’t change the outcome. PSSS … there’s another topic today that begins with “When Kincaid plays the entire game the Bills are 7-1”. Quick, go tell him that Kincaid has never played an entire game. It’s a posting opportunity! Adieu!
  20. A shoutout to this often-forgotten gem. It was only my second Bills game ever. This is another game where the pick-six was our only touchdown. We won the game 10-7 in OT and it was a huge late-season step in ending a 5-year playoff drought in 1980.
  21. Yes there is, and once you see it, you constantly see it. listen to their press conferences. is this Bills team good enough to win the Super Bowl? McD said “I love this team”. Beane said “yes it is”. IMO that’s McD saying the roster isn’t good enough, and Beane saying yes it is. This is just one example. But when you listen to McDs and Beanes response to the same questions- you see a disconnect. Years ago you often saw McD and Beane together. You never see them together now.
  22. Palmer has not shown anything that makes me think he is a difference maker. Of course Brown matters, but I think he may play.
  23. Hussey's not bad... Usually let's the players play. This is a win for the Bills imo
  24. As long as it isn't Hochuli! We have a shot at a fair game.
  25. Yes, and maybe McDermott, too, in the case of Babich and Brady. Babich might turn out to be a terrific coordinator, but it's pretty clear he wasn't ready yet to take over play calling duties. And Brady.... Let's just say I hope he lands a head-coaching job. In that sense, I'm totally in his corner. If he does move on, I really, really hope McDermott looks outside the organization for a replacement. He should be able to attract top candidates.
