Game week thread - Bills at Steelers

Classy comments from Mr. Rogers. It's because he speaks his mind and goes against the NFL grain sometimes. -
To do what?

He looks pretty timid with that left arm. He looks to be keeping it bent at around 90 deg most of the time and when he does extend it, he appears to be doing it gingerly and doesn't ever full extend it yet. I'm betting he still has quite a ways to go. -
That should help Not win games, more like the draft slot

What does "Complementary Football" mean in Bills Coachspeak?

The offense and defense can’t both struggle for the entire first half and expect to win. -
Not last week he didn’t.

If people are willing to pay for PSLs, they will pay for these seats too. -
Those UVA teams had us on clamps Except that crazy tournament comeback where we put the full court press on and clamped them! The historical difference between uva's athletes and what boeheim was still bringing to the table... And I like the look of this team

Maybe. They said the name but I don’t remember it. I do remember they said it was the same people that did Yankee stadium. -
Yeah I had a lot of confidence in the team through the first 2 and a half games. Trying to not let that last half get to me. Tough defensive teams used to make us fold real.bad recently (think Tony Bennetts UVA teams) but we hung with one of the best and didnt back down and fought hard

What does "Complementary Football" mean in Bills Coachspeak?
Mikie2times replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
For this team, I thought the vision of complimentary football was better in the first build. I’m happy we want a more consistent running game, but the entire defensive system is meant for defending the pass. We have barely cared at any point over fortifying our run defense. So to me, complimentary would be less ball control, developing an offense that is more dangerous and explosive enough to more routinely force teams to be one dimensional on offense, and into more passing situations. Which we saw a lot in the first build. Which is what our defense is designed for. We seem to run counter this, shortening the game, trying to win low possession games, higher variance events like turnover margin. Which has not gone well this year. We have the foundation to really build an elite offense, yet even if we did, it seems like we want to focus on being ball control. I really don’t get it to be honest. This team has lost its way from my perspective. -

You are correct. The county gets half the money and the 3rd party that is doing all the work on this gets the other half. The Bills are getting nothing out of it. -

I'm pretty sure the stadium is Erie County property. This money grab has nothing to do with the Bills, and everything to do with the local government. The Bills have zero say in what Erie County does with their property. -

Its only authentic if you get the hockey puck with it. -
I’d imagine he’ll get right to work doing that without needing much prep time but I really hope we give him more opportunities eventually.. the dude took a pay cut to leave NO I think he’s gotta have a chip on his shoulder. Hopium is he thinks he can win against the coverages the bills have been seeing and kinda forced his way here to revitalize his career a bit 😂. That shady attempt the saints made at fiddling with his guaranteed money for 2026 seems like he had a team in mind and only wanted to take a pay cut if he could end up there in free agency. Could definitely be wishful thinking but I love a good conspiracy theory haha

$600 covers the entire cost of two seats but you will only need the edge watching a Joe Brady offense! -

I dont believe the Bills organization gets any of the money. I think its county or the state. Half of it will go to the 3rd part company doing the work on this. Its that company that is setting the price. I was listening to something about it on 930am radio the other day. Yes, I agree the prices are ridiculous but don't blame the Bills for those prices. I think they said it was the same company that did Yankee stadium. -
TE doesnt even need to stay in for help. Just needs to chip and go out for a pass. He just needs to give the QB that extra half second to second longer. Especially if its a free runner. Then become available for a pass. This should be common, but it doesn't seem so. Even Kelce will chip.
