  1. Past hour
  2. ...and/or an expensive way to get intercepted
  3. I agree with you on the severity of defensive pass interference. I have always looked at as when you make it a spot foul it assumes the receiver in the absence of interference was going to make the catch. Why then is offensive pass interference only a 10 yard penalty? Why do they not also assume the defensive player was going to make the interception in the absence of interference?
  4. I feel for Travis Scott fans (not that I know any) having to see him hanging out with Robert Kraft. Ick.
  5. I don't think it was a poor offensive gameplan that got us in the hole last night. Defensively we were outcoached pretty comprehensively in that first half (then turned the tables after half time) but offensively it was execution - Cooks drops a bomb on the first play of the game. Then at 3rd and 4 Palmer stupidly false starts and puts us in 3rd and long where they heat up Josh and he is sacked. The third drive I think you can question the call on 3rd and 15.... if you are going to throw a short pass to Shakir there to get half of it back, which is what they did, then you better be willing to go for it on 4th down. Otherwise let Josh throw deep on 3rd down... you might at least get a DPI. But largely I think the hole on offense was on players not gameplans.
  6. I looked at the ESPN Gamecast at halftime and I think New England's win probability was about 88%. I read where Josh is still 3rd in the MVP race. Unless that changes it'll be as if yesterday never even happened. Incredibly, he probably won't win MVP this year even though we all know he's the most deserving by a long ways.
  7. Good! You aren't good if you aren't hated. Let teams hate the Bills and what they do to them. It means something is going right.
  8. Coleman had one chance to prove that he belonged yesterday and he dropped it. I think that was the one where we lucked out and got a defensive penalty anyway. Bottom line, he can’t even come up with a catch when it is his turn.
  9. Didn't watch the game, but I did tempt fate by checking the app score before 4:30 pm.
  10. Even as big as Allen is, would you want someone like Garrett barreling down? Finger poke of doom maybe but, I imagine a blindside hit from him would land Josh in the blue tent
  11. No matter what, it was PI. He RAN INTO the WR before turning his head..... On the White INT, White was playing the ball, Hollins was playing DB......
  12. Maye is good. He was stumped by a McD defense that had adjusted in the second half. Seems like a gamer, but I worry about his durability. He doesn't protect himself on slides and runs like Mahomes and Allen do. I think he is a legit starter right now, but not in the top 2 tiers of QBs. Plenty of time for him to grow and develop into a high end NFL starter. The MVP talk was just overreaction, similar to Jaden Daniels last year.
  13. At the half, I took the dog on an hour long hike. When I walked in we were scoring to take the lead. Of course, the next play was their long run for a TD so I was tempted to go back out again. I typically take the dog out on a walk during big games at crucial times like the Ravens and Chiefs. While I was out I was imagining the score would be like 34-10 when I got back so it was a nice surprise.
  14. And even with that he didn't come back to the ball. If the DB doesn't slip he invites the pass to be undercut while he's standing still waiting for the pass to arrive
  15. Thanks for providing some proof to support what has seemed to be an ongoing issue.

  17. Does Josh Allen pull a Favre and give Garrett the record, if and only if, AFTER the Bills have a safe lead?
  18. I had a buddy who was a great guy until he hit a tipping point with alcohol. I had seen him lose is stuff trying to “protect” my wife at a Bucs/Packers game in Tampa one time, starting a brouhaha that cascaded down several rows in the stands. This guy was super smart and the head of the investment department. He had too much to drink, beat the crap out of some guy in the bathroom at the annual holiday party….and that was his last Christmas at the bank. I ran into is lovely then ex-wife a couple years later. He was living with a girl half is age and had several domestic violence charges against him. It’s incredibly sad to see up close, but some people just can NOT process alcohol in a responsible manner.
  19. Maybe, but wow their offensive line is all backups right now, and their WRs are the worst in the league. I had this as a loss when the schedule came out, I'm not worried anymore. The only way Buffalo loses is if they turn it over a few times.
  20. I think both the Shakir play, and the White INT that Pats fans are complaining about probably both come down to the same aspect of pass interference: On the Shakir play, Jones cut off Shakir's ability to come back to the ball BEFORE turning his head at the last second (and honestly, would argue he turned his head so late that he wasn't really making a play on the ball and simply lucked into the ball ending up in his hands). On the White play, he had position the entire play and was turned tracking the ball coming in the entire play and cut off Hollins' ability to get to the ball while doing it. If there was any DPI on that play, you could maybe say the slight push off at the end, but it would have been a pretty weak one.
  21. So to the “it’s the guns fault crowd” before we know anything - you know that assumption you are more then eager and free to make whenever there is a shooting (unless it’s a homicide in Chicago involving 2 black teens then you don’t really care). We don’t have much information than what we are finding out about the victims and that the president of Brown has no idea what’s happening on her campus…... 🚩 🚩 If she wasn’t targeted, ok. We'll find out. Until then in light of rampant leftist violence including the most insidious political assassination we’ve ever seen happen in real time against a private citizen to which everyone with a brain concluded (as did I in the OP in this thread) that this is going to ESCALATE and get worse perhaps even to HIGH SCHOOLS because Democrats are sick individuals - the media will bury these incidents quicker then when they find out the shooters are trans. I know you really don’t want this to be true but it is because you enable it.
  22. Can we please leave Babich in Buffalo for this game? My god, think about the adjustment this defense made after halftime. Am I to believe Babich had a hand in that?
  23. But isn’t this a Moot point? They ruled Shakir caught it / tie possession. ?
  24. When somebody is nearly as loud in their absence as they are in their presence, that should answer some questions.
  25. I think it derives from the latin Maximus, meaning "biggest or greatest"... Massimo in Italian... The portmanteau "Masshole" basically means "the biggest a-hole."
  26. I can't wait to hear your professional diagnosis of what is wrong with Keon Coleman.
