This is one of the more ridiculous moments I can remember from an NFL coach:

Quote

#Patriots HC Mike Vrabel on officiating in the game vs. the Bills, via @TheGregHillShow:

“They do have a difficult job. The consistency — sometimes I struggle with it. I’ll say this: the Bills lead the NFL in offensive holds, and I’ll leave it at that. That would be hard for me to understand — how a team coming into the game leading, and that’s how they play, didn’t have one yesterday. So that’s hard for me to understand.”

Vrabel also disagreed with the Marcus Jones/Khalil Shakir play being called a catch. "Whether we think it’s PI, that’s their call."

Lost a lot of respect for Vrabel with this. The day after a loss he is pointing the finger at the officials instead of at himself and his team for blowing a 21 point lead. And these weren't even particularly controversial calls.

Someone should ask Mike Vrabel how he feels about Vedarian Lowe getting away with a blatant hands to the face on Groot, right in front of the Referee.  This was a critical third and 3 on the drive into the half that they ended up getting 3 points out of.   This was a direct violation of Rule 12 sections 1-2 illegal use of hands/facemask.

watch the play....Lowe's lefthand goes right to groots face and pushes it up and he just leaves it there the whole time.  Should have been third and thirteen.

Funny how Vrable just missed this one!  This missed call resulted directly in points for New England.

Funny, in the first match up he didnt even mention the Refs....oh yeah, they call 11 penalties on the Bills.......

What I love is I saw someone try to justify that in the first game they had the same number of penalties or yards or something because of penalties.  However, most of the pats penalties were after they had already called 10 against the bills and 1 against the pats in the 1st half.

Oh and Vrabel is wrong - the Bills DID have an offensive hold called, which wiped out a TD. I guess Vrabel doesn't remember it because our QB managed to overcome it and his QB couldn't overcome s***.

It was a bad call too.  Our guy pushed the defender to the ground.

Does he seriously sit with those whiney babies alongside him every week and agree New England is the bestest and everyone else smells?

Can't imagine Belichick did that.

Now that is embarrassing for an NFL coach. Wow

What about the 30 yard pass to Boutte? The nose of the football hit the ground before he got his hand under it. No replay assist on that play and McDermott did not challenge. Even the CBS ref analyst Gene Steratore said it shouldn't have been a catch. NE did a hurry up to get off next play.

We will now replay the entire Mike Vrabel post-game press conference.

Here he is saying nothing he could have done about Allen's performance. Allen is just too good for him to deal with:

Pathetic all around.

There was a massive hold that lead to a TD run too. Don’t hear him crying about that one either.
